Have you seen that show? Ah, the 80's look like insanity.
I have to temp. dye my hair black in a couple weeks (for a cosplay...)
Also, if Illicit drops by again, I read in the Mutisme OOC that he was wondering after particular people...
So: Piggy has been MIA since... I'd say October.
I haven't spoken to Hawke since... Late January/Early February. Boy needs to call me again D<

Auron is currently sick. REALLY sick. Doctor says it's a bad cold, though it doesn't seem like it. When he's not sick, he's still not around much. I talk to him daily frequently though, so I can pass on any messages needed.

I wish I had a good buddy that lived nearby that would drag me to RP and conventions! I have a friend nearby who does both (I RP with her) but we aren't particularly close and she is a very busy person. >_<
I saw in your Conscentia RP thread you are sick. I hope you and Auron both feel better. =(

Heh. He's not nearby, really. xD But, close enough. I am dragging him actually, insisted that he come this year. I do that a lot. Coerce people into doing things with me >D Awww, that's no fun then. I would take you, were you close.

I'm actually going on vacation soon (my first time since I've been working at my job and I've been there since March '07). I am finally going to see the west coast (specifically we are going to San Fran) where I am going to rendezvous with two WoW friends. I know, I break all sort of internet safety protocol. XD With that trip coming up I probably shouldn't spring for a con...
I *do* love to do artsy things, though, and sewing is one of them! I sewed a dress for the Renaissance Fair here from scratch. That is what really makes me want to go to a Con! Now that I have some money I can make some nice costumes!
Back when I was poor I went to GenCon (one of two Cons I went to) and did a shoddy Cammy from Street Fighter and Celes from FFVI. I really wanted to do Celes and since I was letting my hair dye fade (I am naturally a blonde) I thought, "Hmmmmm.... who else is blonde?" Cammy was just fun. I got a LOT of stares! No one knew Celes, though.
Death Note I imagine would be easily recognizable; that is the key, really. Go as something everyone knows!

Oh, I'm not one to harass you about internet safety xD I support meeting people in person fully.
In actuality, Auron and I met in a roleplay on Gaia. We got to talking, discovered we lived 2 hours from each other, and last summer we got together. My mother was against the idea, but I did take my brother with me. Mostly because he was driving. We've seen each other twice since ^.^
At this convention, I'm meeting up with another gaia friend, for the first time though. We are sooo excited!
Oh! How I wish I had a sewing machine! My grandmother doesn't use her's anymore, but mother says I can't have it sad How am I suppose to learn anything? A Renaissance fair would be so cool! Your dress must have been amazing!
Mmm, I dunno who those two are, but I'm sure you were able to do them well smile Recognizable is best! The first year I went, I wanted to go as Pamela from the Tarot Cafe manga. Well, it's not THAT well known, and she dresses pretty normal except for a few outfits, which I didn't have time for, of course. But everyone knows Death Note xD

Be forewarned- we are all quite insane. I <3 them all to death though! Celes & Cammy are both from Video Games... and I was surprised that they weren't recognized at GenCon as it is more of a gaming convention than an anime convention. You would think gamers would know some very popular video game characters! Most people did know Cammy, but only one person knew Celes. It might have been the quality of the costume or the fact I chose the outfit that was used in the artwork and CG when they re-released the game rather than the outfit her sprite wore in the game. I think it would be HORRIBLY fun to cosplay as a school girl. Now that I am much too old to be one, I think it would be interesting to see how well I could pull it off! I look a little young for my age so I might be ok... but I think I'd have to shelve the glasses for contacts as my glasses age me a bit (I wear them because they frame my face and my husband likes them... also, contacts are more work). Are you going to meet anyone on these forums? (Also, Yammy is seeking a partner for Mutisme if you are interested! I am reserving myself for Meta <3 )

I looked through your construction proccess! Looks amazing! And I would not have had the skill and patience for all of that!
Psssh! You look really young! Do the school girl thing! Bleh, contacts! I have to go try and put them some of those in my eyes tomorrow. The first time was an hour of failure. I think my brain just refuses to cooperate.
These forums, being Koiji? Well. Hawke WAS going to take a road trip to come visit me and Auron, but since he has not contacted me since... February, I dunno if that's happening. I am highly doubting it.
(Who is Yammy? And I am still all waffly about that)

Well, I used to wear contacts a while ago... but the contacts were more expensive, time-consuming, and annoying. I have very sensitive eyes so I had to get a very specific solution and because of my astigmatism I had to get a special sort of contacts. In the last 4 years I am sure they have come a long way but... meh. I am too indifferent at this point. I have a tall forehead anyhow!
I got married at 22, but I was 21 when I went to get my dress. I went to David's Bridal and when I walked in and told them I was there for my wedding dress it was prom season and the lady helping me said if I hadn't told her otherwise she would have assumed I was there for a prom dress (Wow, that was a long thought x_x). I think, or I suppose I thought, that I look older now and more my age. >.<

I gave up on the contacts. Could not hold my eyelids open, so after 45 minutes of making just one irritated, I quit. I do not need them, they would only be for occasionally, and my awesome new frames are enough for me anyways.
Oh my. A couple more months, and I'll be 21. And not anywhere near to looking for a wedding dress. o.O I admire you for getting married so young and remaining that way though. I had a friend marry at 18, and they aren't together anymore. Didn't even make it to two years. And they have a child. ;-;
I suppose being confused for a girl a couple years younger looking for her prom dress is better then people assuming you are the mother of the children you are with. I was 13 the first time that happened. Babysitting 3 kids, the oldest 10 at that time. Someone else thought my little cousin was my daughter. There's a 12 year difference between us. Apparently, not a visible 12 years. O___O
(Mmm, waffles! I will... try and think of a character maybe.)

Well... it is very cheesy, but I knew he was the one for me. <3 I met him my freshman year of college in the winter. I remember we met through a D&D group and my first impression of him was that he was too serious (he never seemed to smile much less laugh) and he was too quiet (he hardly ever talked). I dated others in the group, though. My sophomore year of college I was on my second go-around with his then-roomate and best friend at college Sean when I got to know him. Sean broke up with me (he said he loved me conditionally) and my husband was the rock I could cling to in a tempest of emotions. He wrote me a poem for my birthday in 2003 (which is framed and on the wall) and because of the context of the poem I asked if he wanted to be more than friends.
When we went to my house for my brother's birthday I got an answer of "Yes." It was April 26th, 2003. My parents adored him... which was unusual for my father to say the least. When the spring of 2004 rolled around and I had gotten fed up with my living arrangements and was considering using the paper to find roomates, my father suggested my husband and I get something together. I was floored. We got an apartment in summer 2004. I quickly realized I not only loved my husband but also that I could live with him (which was very important!) A few days before Christmas in 2004 he proposed. We were married July 23, 2005.
I never look back. He is wonderful even when we fight. Contrite, cheesy, all the sappy things people say don't exist anymore. I got really lucky, but I think a love story like mine can exist for anyone. You just have to be ready for it. I sorted out a lot of emotional baggage before we dated and I was ready for something serious and lasting when we did date. =)
Anyway, I am a romantic nut even more these days! He smiles and nods but I think he finds it all a bit odd. >.o I hate romance movies but I love the RP!

That is sooooo romantic and sooooo sweet! Awww! You now have me believing that could even be possible for me smile And hey, I just started playing D&D with a bunch of guys. 4 out of 5 are quite cute! xD (No, that is not the only reason I want to play, I'm not that vain). But they're interesting guys, and fun, so I hope we get to play more this summer, since I've only joined in on one game so far. I still need to learn a lot about how to play. I mean, I went to the bathroom when we played - left when we'd just hidden from chainsaw-armed dudes in a hallway, got back and there were zombie sucide bombers being sent on a mission by one of our guys, and we were like, infiltrating this enemy army. o.O
Twas very confusing.
I'm still all "awwww *o* over your story! -dreamy sigh-
