"Odd indeed. It gets a tad annoying around April Fool's day." Renault poured himself a cup of orange juice after aquiring a taste for it from the floor below. He lifted the flower decorated glass to his lips and sipped it down sighing afterwards. "I mean, there's so much decapitation and ketchup everywhere. And everytime we see his body, we scream like we've forgotten he can do it." Renault looks over at the feline-like teen and nods respectfully. As Evie walked in, he looked over at her, then Sai. ~Oh boy...~ He kept his thoughts to himself and poured himself another glass without thinking.

Rimet sighed, and looked down. "I am sorry sometimes I... Forget who is who." Rimet told Cheshure in a lost tone. Rimet spends so much time in his own dimension he sometimes losses bits of memory of the real world. Some-times it was the real world that felt like just a dream. "I had forgotten your name and... That you were one of us." Rimet admitted to Cheshure.

Evie looked up at Sai after he answered, with masked worry. His cheerfulness didn't sound sincere, not the way she was used to it. It was like his mouth was smiling but his eye wasn't. She would have asked what was wrong, if it wasn't for the fact that they were in a crowded kitchen where anyone would be able to overhear them. The matter was between her, Sai, and Vincent, that was all and Evie didn't want to make anyone else get involved.
"I'm alright...just a little nervous." Evie answered softly, being honest without giving the full truth. "Did...Renault and Brian mention when the mission would be starting?"
It was just about then that Evie heard Yukina's comment. Evie didn't say anything about it, but a light blush did warm her cheeks. Her and Sai were friends, that was all. She may care about him as more then just a friend, but that didn't change things.

Cheshure frowned. " Awwwwww DO I make you all angry? " His ears drooped down and his shoulder's slouched. He floated in the air for a few moments and said. " Aw well, we all have our querks. Karana has anger issues, Sai is Mad just like me, Evie is as gentle as a kitten, and Yukina isn't open enough to know our entire team. " He stuck his tongue out at her before he started to disappear.

Vincent walked through the kitchen door, just as calm as usual. He looked at Evie and Sai but didn't say anything his eyes were drawn to the two white puncture marks on her neck, or where they should be, he couldn't see them right now. He looked away and sat down. He blinked once before sighing. " I guess I missed role call. " He smiled lightly. Helooked at Renault and asked. " When exactly does our mission begin? " The obvious cloud of uncertainty and near sadness clung to the air around Evie and Sai. Vincent let out another sigh. " Are you kidding? " He got up and walked over to Sai. " Come with me. " He grabbed his arm and started to head out of the kitchen. He walked down a hall just so no one else would hear them talk. " Alright you look like a kid who's brother just took his favorite toy. Are you really concerned about me making her my prey as well? "

Brian smiled a little, they were both clearly acting on impulses from last night, he supposed Vincent hadn't explained it to well or they were really insecure. He got up to put his dish in the sink rinsing it off before he placed it into the dishwasher. He walked over looking at Evie and whispered. " Don't worry he may seem a little cold on the outside but Vincent is really trying his best to help, don't worry he's really a good guy, Cleanse is just under a lot of stress for obvious reasons. "

Natalie walked down the bright hallway slowly, her eyes slightly dazed as she thought darkly about her last mission. "I can't believe I failed it so miserably," she murmured darkly. She looked up in the air thinking that Cheshure might be floating above her like he always seemed to do when she was moody. "There must be something going on," she whispered. Natalie walked to a window, feeling the sot breeze hit her face. "I guess I'll go see what's going on... in a minute." Her eyes roamed the blue sky slowly, her mind dazing into a dream of the past. When I was a child I had a dream... now it is reality...

Brian sighed a little rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I'm going to die of stress if this keeps up. " He said softly. he took a seat and said. " Renault, I think we should get our plan in motion, we need to send our tracker, spies and mole into that military base. I doubt they've cleared it out yet if we hope to find a scent of them it's there, we don't exactly have time to hope they strike closer then they already have. "

" What's your point? I'm a vampire therefore I know the answers to your problems? Look I'm sorry that you're not a vampire, all you do is suck blood and call it the same, well it's not you're just the sucker who got our most idyllic trait. " He said as he looked at Sai, the clear emotional storm in Sai's eye was almost sickening to Vincent. " See this is why you can't be a vampire you have humanity, you're to focused on your emotions, you talk like a human you act like a human and you fight like a human that's all there is to it. " He was a little caught off guard by Sai's next statement, it was something he had never really thought about. " What? Protect her? Sai I didn't protect her from anything, I fed off of her, I let her feel what a vampire's seductive charm is yes and now she will forever carry my vampiric scars on her neck. You should be furious at me, I fed on someone you cared about not because I was hungry but because it was for a mission. As you've said we have considered ourselves enemies for nearly 12 years, I am not trying to take Evie away and make her mine, if I really wanted that I wouldn't have stayed where I was for so long. God the amount of paranoia is incredible in this base. " He said with sheer annoyance. " Look I've never been in your position, there hasn't been a person that I felt I needed to protect with all of my heart, so no I can't really relate to you. " He calmed down a little and thought for a moment. " Also.....You shouldn't feed on her ever again. Once a vampire has fed on a person their blood becomes vile to others, I assume it didn't taste foul to me because you're not a vampire. However I don't know if it will still supply any relief to you. Also, now that she is my prey as well as yours remember this, I will protect her because my vampiric blood tells me to, you'll protect her because of how you feel. Understand? "

Pointed cat ears suddenly appeared ontop of Natalie's head they twitched and wiggled slightly. Cheshure's voice filled the hall soon after. " What's wrong Natalie, staring into the distance again? " He asked , only his cat ears which were currently ontop of her head gave away his existance in the hall, no other part of his body could be seen.

Evie was just about to reply to Sai when Vincent came over, and pulled Sai away. She nibbled on her lip nervously, having a funny feeling that she knew exactly what they were talking about. Unconsciously she reached up and fiddled with the scarf she chose to wear that day, her hand close to the place where three sets of fang marks lay hidden under the loosely draped fabric.
Evie glanced over at Brian after he spoke to her. "I know...he's just trying to do the right thing. I just...I just wish doing the right thing didn't have to be this...stressful, on everyone." Evie whispered back. It seemed Vincent and Chesh were both right, Evie was as gentle as a kitten and too kind for her own good.

Once Renault went to sit down, Evie went to make herself some breakfast. Not out of any real hunger, but mostly to give herself something to do untill it was time to leave. She just made herself some toast with honey, and made a pot of tea for herself and anyone else who might want some. She took a seat at the table and half heartedly ate, periodically glancing towards the doorways in hopes that Sai and Vincent would come back soon. When Evie overheard Brian say that they should move out soon, a chill shot up Evie's spine, and Nasrin chuckled softly in her mind. Evie reminded herself that even while she was in that place and trapped inside Nasrin...at leasts she wouldn't be alone. Sai and Chesh would never be far away, and she would always be able to contact Vincent if she needed help.
