Tam shakes his head with a chuckle. "Naw... she's probably got some hefty mind magic from somewhere... Shia was the same way. I kept having to send her back home while out on patrol. She'd miss me and bingo, there she was."

Tam frowns. "Then tell me... how in the hell did she make it all the way back here when she was little? Could have sworn she ported. You guys went home and she was back in less than a few hours at best. Don't tell me she's that damn fast. Why that's a talent in and of itself."

But then, food always tastes better out here... even the simple stuff. I love our cottage, but I'll be the first to admit... I miss the road."

Tam shakes his head in negation. No, I don't... he's asking far too many questions... some of which are entirely irrelevant at the moment... I don't want things to go to his head... The he laughs and smiles at Kero. "Ye know... if any of those stacks of paper in yer office fall over on ye... ye'll go flatter than a pancake. I can't even begin to see how ye keep it all organized."
