Lawrence had been assaulted in the darkness. He was dazed and stumbled out of the house. He put his hand out toward the ship before he was pulled back into the house by a familiar looking weapon.

A woman approached the ship. It was Eric's mother. She tapped on the cockpit window.

Patricia made a motion as to tell kirune to try and open the cockpit. just try and escape you two timing harlet! she thought. She hid her true emotion behind a stoic face.

Inside the house were two figures as well as Lawrence. They were Leopold fringe (Eric's father) and Eric himself. Eric saw Alex come in. "Well well. This wasn't exactly in my plan. Then again, what is a good plan if its inflexible,"
"Run Alex!" Lawrence said. He burst out of the ropes binding him and jumped toward Eric. Eric chuckled and brought his blade up and held it behind him to block Lawrence's attack.

Patricia smiled and dangled the keys to Lawrence's ship in front of kirune. She put them in her pocket and smiled maliciously. She leaned against the ship and crossed her arms. She chuckled slightly. You'll burn in hell for this. Hell hath no fury like a mother scorned, she thought.

"Is cyan going to be a problem?" leopold asked Eric as Lawrence clashed with him. Eric chuckled.
"Not unless he decides to start fighting. He's mostly a magic type fighter with little striking ability," he said struggling against his opponent. "If he fights I'll take care of him personally. Just leave this one alive so I can toy with him some more,"
Leopold shrugged and went to the fridge. "Damn, we're out of barbecue sauce," he said casually.

Patricia leaned against the ship and sighed. Why can't I fight this worthless trash? I'm sure she wouldn't harm an old lady like me... Damn, my mace is locked up in the bedroom. I'll get it later, she thought. She whistled for a while then her husband showed up.
"i'm heading for the grocery store. Need anything?"
"i might as well go do it. Little blond skank over here isn't moving from this place for a while. We need the muscle to stay back here," she said grabbing the shopping list from Leopold's hand. She also stealthily took his wallet. "later love," she said kissing her husband.

Leopold stood there in front of the ship. "What a woman," he said gleefully.

Leopold brought up his bostaff and whistled sharply. Patricia looked back and saw the light coming down. Looks like leopold fringe is throwing himself into danger yet again, she thought. She stuffed the list into her pocket and rushed back toward the house. Her high heels broke and she tossed them aside. Whoever invented those bloody things was a masochist!

Eric and Lawrence continued to clash until Eric heard his father whistle. Eric smiled sadistically and blocked another blow. "Looks like we've got a brave one. Once again you fall back on your friends when the fight gets tough!" He said shoving Lawrence back.eric bowed and waved his hand to Lawrence and back flipped out of the house.

Eric smirked and summoned both blades. "Drive forms are for those who can't win with their own skill. Take care of Lawrence dad,"
Leopold smacked Eric upside the head with his staff. "NEVER try to command me kid! I can make my own decisions. And I've decided that you've gone to far," he said walking away toward Patricia. "Release the girl Patricia,"
Patricia shook her head. "I won't let that cheating scum escape and hurt our son again!" she said. Leopold sighed.
"I know you love Eric, but we can't let him control us and influence our decisions. Our child has wrapped us up in a revenge plot,"
Leopold said.

Patricia shook her head and drew a knife she had in a holster on her leg. "I won't let you hinder my vengeance," she said pointing it at leopold. He sighed and tossed his staff aside. "I refuse to fight the love of my life, but I won't let her be corrupted," he said putting his massive arms out.

Patricia was moved by her husband's speech and unwillingness to fight her. She dropped to her knees. "What have I done?" she said. She held back tears. She growled and threw the knife toward kirune. It implanted itself in the windshield of the ship. Then she pulled out the keys and unlocked the ship's cockpit.

Eric looked back to see that his parents were no longer on his side. "Will everyone I love always betray me?" He said.

Eric chuckled madly. "You act as though you've had experience in it. You haven't my friend. You're not old enough or insane enough to suffer my fate," he said bringing his blades up. "Now be a dutiful little master and slay evil."

A dark aura surrounded Eric as he dropped his blades. One key transformed into a heavy looking broadsword. "Hatred flows like a river in the midst of betrayal," Eric said before transforming. A angered shout emerged as it was completed.
