 "Hawkpaw! Hawkpaw!" SilverClaw roared. She padded over to her friend and pawed her ears playfully. "Awww. now you got someone to play with." She joked. She licked her friends ear. "Congrats. My friend." She dipped her head to IceStorm which was rare.

[I padded off to meet Silverstar, but then a strange feeling came over me.
I froze.
Something slammed into me ((not physically)), and I collapsed on the ground.
I opened my eyes and saw only darkness. I blinked. Where was I? Dreamin? Yes...dreaming...
Thunderpaw... a voice called.
My heart stopped.
It was a faint, distant voice, and it stirred deep recognition in me. My eyes widened.
"Mother...?" I whispered, fear and shock and terror gripping me.
There was no answer. I floated in that etheral blackness for what seemed like eternity...]

 IceStorm batted SilverClaw's ears playfully. "dont worry you will get someone to train as well." Suddenly SilverClaw had become serious. Which was rare. She had dipped her head to IceStorm. IceStorm's eyes widened. "SilverClaw are you.." suddenly IceStorm understood. Her friend was happy for her and no respected her as well. IceStorm dipped her head as well.

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________Hawkpaw was smiling all over the place. He thanked Silverclaw, then Thunderpaw, as they congratulated him. He felt a surge of energy as the cats of Stormclan roared his name into the sky. Hawkpaw felt his heart pound with effort. He heard Silverstar meow something to Thunderpaw, but she got no response. Turning around, he saw Thunderpaw on the ground, unconscious! He darted up to her and sniffed. She was breathing easily, so she wasn't sick or hurt. But why had she just fainted so suddenly, just like Moonkit? Moonkit shared a connection with Starclan, he figured out that much, but what about Thunderpaw? Hawkpaw rasped Thunderpaw's ear with his tongue before looking up at Icestorm and Silverstar with a look of sheer dread on his face. Was Thunderpaw's condition caused by him?! Had Starclan disapproved his ceremony?!

[Silverstar saw the look of sheer dread on Hawpaw's face, and knew exactly what he was thinking.] "Not at all, young tom. She is only dreaming. She will wake up, don't you worry." [Silverstar nudged him comforingly.] "All is well in StarClan, I hope."

Had she or the medicine cat recieved a prophecy from Starclan? No, they would've informed the clan...Right? Hawkpaw sighed.
“Should I drag her back to the apprentices' den, Silverstar?”
He suggested. With a jolt he realized that he would now spend his nights in the apprentices' den! The excitement quickly fleeted as he understood that he wouldn't see Moonkit as often now.

[Moonkit awoke to the sound of loud roaring.]
Oh Mother, I'm sorry I guess we won't visit this time.. she thought sadly.
[Moonkit flicked her ear, now more awake, she heard "Hawkpaw!" and hastily ran out to congratulate him.
But then her heart stopped.]
Icestorm's your mentor? she thought.
[She saw them touch noses and begin to turn around and walk off.]
"Don't.. leave me." she whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek.
[Her head drooped as she watched Hawkit - no, Hawkpaw walk away with one of her valued friends.]

H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________ Hawkpaw saw a silvery cat flicker in the corner of his eye. He turned to see Moonkit. With his ears perking, he looked at Thunderpaw for a moment, then Silverstar.
“I'm sorry, Silverstar. I…I'll be right back.”
He mewed to his leader with much regret. He didn't want to disrespect her right after his ceremony, but something about Moonkit's posture suggested that she was upset. Hawkpaw quickly trotted up to her.
“Moonkit! Hey! I'm finally an apprentice! I…I'd planned for a while that when I got a mentor, I'd suggest that Silverstar got you one as well. We are pretty such the same age, right? And I was apprenticised very late, so…you should've been made an apprentice before me.”
Hawkpaw tilted his head and twitched his whiskers, not really knowing whether what he said helped or not.

"No.. No." she said more firmly.
"It impossible." she mewed, she couldn't help but wince when she saw his hurt expression.
"I want to be a medicine cat. I won't ever be the same as you. Ever." she said tears springing in her eyes.
"So please. I'm begging you to understand. I also wish you the best of luck. I don't think after I get apprenticed that I'll be able to talk to you much. I mean, we'll be sleeping in different dens.
And.. and..." she mewed unable to choke out anymore.
[She looked to the sky, in hope that it held the answer that she wanted to see.]
"Goodbye Hawkpaw..." she mewed sadly looking into his eyes, maybe even for the last time as equals.

He felt his ears and tail droop instantly, and his eyes glazed lightly with hot tears. He couldn't find any words to put to his feelings.
“M…Moonkit…”
His gaped, his vision being blurred more and more by tears. Hawkpaw clenched his teeth, letting out a harsh growl as he forced back his emotions. Why was he feeling like his? He didn't understand any of it. Hawkpaw shook his head violently before swinging around and padding back to Silverstar.

IceStorm saw Hawkpaw and Moonkit exchange words. She could tell the two of them were sad. "Hawkpaw!" IceStorm called after he had finished speaking to Moonkit.

[Moonkit looked after him, sadness radiating off her in gigantic tidal waves.
She didn't try to hold them back, it was no use.
Hawkpaw, now he was a special case.
Everything he said either lifted her up in joy or brought her crashing down with sadness.
She didn't want to cry but that was the only way to reflect the storm of emotions inside her.]
"Hawkpaw.." she said gazing after him, but she knew he would never look back at her ever again.
No.. not after that.
[Her head was dizzy but she only considered it to be her form of sadness.
No, this was different than that.
She was entering the land of dreams..]
[She let herself be dragged away, anything to get away from her emotions.]

H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________ Hawkpaw grit his teeth to the point where he feared that they might crack. It felt like a river of emotions was washing over him, sweeping him away into a side of himself that he didn't know existed. At the same time, it was like he was being skinned alive. He felt devastated at how Moonkit reacted to this all. He was angry that she wanted to become a medicine cat. Confused as to why he hadn't felt this before. It was hard for the young tom to truly accept it, but he cared for Moonkit more than all the Clans combined. Hawkpaw half-snarled half-cried through his clenched teeth. Something was urging him to turn around, look at Moonkit one last time. But he refused to succumb to these temptations.
“Don't turn around…Don't…turn around…”
He growled sternly to himself, his eyes screwed up in sorrow, pain, and rage. Seeing her like that again would break him. Hawkpaw could feel his pelt burning now; he shook it violently, as if he were throwing an enemy off. Icestorm's call brought him back to his senses. Blinking away any tears, he walked up to his new mentor. His eyes were dark and cold as he tried to control his temper. Right now, all he wanted to do was flay the next cat who questioned him about Moonkit.
“Yes, Icestorm?” He glanced at Thunderpaw's sleeping body, then back at Icestorm, and added in a flat voice. “Shouldn't we help carry her to the apprentices' den?”

Maybe it can be like a Crowfeather x Leafpool sort of thing...? ;^;]]

(( Oooo, romance. ccx This'll be interesting. Be careful, though. Different clan love isn't highly regarded in the story...D:
Just thought I'd say this; I'm not sure what I want Thunderpaw to do. I really like your character, rain - he's exactly the sort of tom I was waiting for Thunderpaw, and I didn't want to play her mate. But I really like the forbidden love story. ;o;
For now, Thunderpaw regards him as a friend. So do what you want. Either way, this is gonna be fun! 8D
Oh, and from now on, Thunderpaw's dreams will be in italized text.))
[I moaned.
"Mother...please...are you there?" I cried. The silence was killing me. I missed her so much...I'd had absolutely no contact from her...
...and then a cat spoke.
"My sweet daughter...you have strong bonds with StarClan...I wonder why you aren't a medicine cat...but perhaps it is not your dream."
I whipped my head around, desperate to see her. Her sweet voice filled my heart with longing.
"Where are you mother?!" I cried. Only silence answered me.
And then, she said, "I don't...have long...I'm very weak, you see..."
"Mother..." I whimpered.
Suddenly, she grew grim.
"Beware, my love," she hissed. "They are coming! Their claws are coming closer to shredding the Clans into pieces!"
"They? Who are they? Do they want to take over...?"
"They will kill us all..." she moaned. "They don't want to rule...they just want to murder...they want...vengeance..."
"V-vengeance? For what-"
"BEWARE!" she yowled.
Suddenly, light slammed into my eyes. Terrified, I watched, wide eyed, as cats fled past me, screaming. There was a terrible stench in the air...something warm squeezed between my paws. I looked down.
The earth was made of dead bodies of cats.
I cried out in horror, realizing I was standing atop a mountain of bodies.
Cats ran over the bodies desperately past me. In front of me, large cats loomed, their fangs glittering with blood. They hissed, and lashed out with their paws, which were as big as one warrior! They sent cats flying off into the sky.
The worst was the laughter. It rang over all the screaming and the crunching. I shuddered, and screamed desperately.
My eyes flew open, and I scrambled, my heart feeling like it would burst out of my chest and fly away.
Laughter rang in my ears, and I coughed.]
"Run!" I cried, "They're coming!"
[I could still see them ahead of me, though their figures were evaporating in the morning light.]
"Run!" I cried again.
[Everything had desolved, save for their glittering eyes full of malice, and their bloody fangs that dripped with the life of so many cats.
I panted desperately, my flank heaving. It felt as if I were breathing through a small hole. I sucked air in greedily, and looked around me wildly. I couldn't recognize the cats I saw.]
Terrified, I whimpered, "Run..." at them pleadingly. Don't let them get you!
