MeriThranduiliell Huh. I never noticed that the characters would become more or less annoying or different because of who the writers were of each episode. For me, considering how I've always latched on to my dad, I kept complaining that Michael should try harder to be at least able to *see* his son every so often. sad Eh, Kate wasn't that bad last episode. I actually didn't mind her much. Which is an accomplishment, let me tell ya. xd Well, he should have at least been able to set up some kind of deal where if he lets Walt live with Susan and Brian, then Susan and Brian have to pay for either Michael to fly to where they are for a yearly visit or for Walt to fly to where Michael is for a yearly visit. But then, we know that Brian only adopted Walt to get on Susan's good side, so maybe we're a bit affected by that?

True, we don't think very highly of him. But I still think Michael should have had the rights.

I thought it was made (somewhat) clear in Michael's first episode that Susan was the devil. xd

I absolutely despise Susan and I'm glad Walt killed her.

I wonder how people feel about tomorrow's episode?
On one hand; NEW EPISODE! *happy dance* heart mrgreen
On other hand; Introduction of new character. stare gonk
I trust the writers but there is that lingering fear of a "Cousin Oliver". sweatdrop
(Cousin Oliver was the dumb annoying cousin that added in the last years of the Brady bunch. Or you can use The Great Gazoo from the Flintstones if you'd prefer for an example. xp )
(and she better keep her hands off my Sawyer or there's going to be a "Girlfight 2"!)

Come on people Discuss!!! scream i need to know why Jin was speaking English! surprised i found these articles and i can't figure out where to post them rolleyes i didn't want to make a new thread just for them. Is "Lost" a literal enigma?Quote: Literary references have been sprinkled throughout the mysteries of Lost: In an episode last season, the character Sawyer was reading Watership Down by Richard Adams, the story of rabbits searching for a safe place in a threatening world. At another point, he read Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time, about time travel. Look for another literary reference - and possibly another clue to the island's secret - on tonight's Lost "Lost" invites repeat viewingsQuote: Viewers can learn, too; eagle-eyed fans list discoveries online, such as the fact that the shark on last week's show exhibited a circular symbol similar to one seen on items in the hatch. eek (if theres a better place for this let me know and i'll edit this redface )

Jin was speaking English because he is just that awesome.
Or maybe he was learning English because he planned to run away from EvilSunDaddy?

Like, perhaps he learned one phrase? xd Remember at the season premiere when Walt said "Push the button, no button's bad"? 3nodding Hmm...

No, no, the next episode is 'Everybody Hates Hugo' (which is A LIE!), with requisite Hurley flashbacks (Hurlbacks? Like throwbacks?) The episode AFTER that is Jin's though. '...And Found.'

That's an odd phrase to learn, and with perfect pronunciation. neutral And Walt said "Don't press the button, the button's bad." which makes sense. I'm a little disappointed in Jack he's the man of science, but I think this episode proves there's a lot of Faith in him too. I'm glad that it looks like the next episode will cover someone other then Jack, Kate, Locke, Sawyer, Jin, Walt, and Michael. If you count last year they've been the center of the story for 3-4 episodes in a row now.

Their last episode, not counting adrift, was episode 14, Special. Hurley's was episode 18, Numbers. Er, flashback-wise anyway.
