We saw Despereaux last night; beautiful, charming... Odd storytelling, though. Almost as if someone were telling the story from memory. smile

I loved 300, it was freakin awesome!
I really have high hopes for The Watchmen it looks really good 3nodding

@ Sanzo: Yes this is indeed true. But even when they remake something they c**k it up horribly. And the stupid thing is people still go to see these crappy movies in the hopes that they wont be crap xd

The last movie I went to see was "The Day the Earth Stood Still" apart from the title not making much sense since most people were running around panicing and fleaing citites... It was much too long. 40 minutes of Keanu Reeves blank pasty stares would have been sufficient and perhaps made the movie much more enjoyable. but unlike Japan and of foreign film companies all American/Hollywood films muist be at least 90 minutes long and they use any meaningless pointless filler to get there.

EDIT: Having said that, I did like the concept of the movie and where it was going, it was jsut much too long and contained too much filler for my taste. And you see half a city get wioped out but you just kinda dont care. It doesn't really cross your mind that half a million people just got eat my metal locusts because you dont see any of it or the hurt it causes others. Heck a memorial to the poeple lost even a mention of it might have made the audience care a little more. THE MOVIE HAD ABOUT AS MUCH EMOTION AS KEANU REEVES PASTY WHITE FACE.

Hey I liked him in the Matrix (The first matrix that is, the second two were pointles crappy money makers) that was a movie which required his emo pasty face. From what I remember watching of Constantine he fitted that role two. When I saw The Lake House I was like wtf? Sandra Bulluck and Keanu Reeves jsut didn't work for me in that film. I liked the idea, and they did try the best but I dont know, I think it was partly the script that I didn't like but yeah. You get my point.

Yeah... he was fascinatingly horrible in Much Ado About Nothing (the only sour note in a terrrific movie... except for those who loathe Kenneth Branaugh)
