Tam takes him gently by the ears and turns his head first one way and then another, giving him a critical once over. "Hmmm... it seems perfectly fine to me, dulcha. But I won't argue with a bit of sleep." He fights back a yawn and giggles. "Nope not one tiny bit..."

Tam nods and lays down next to him, stroking his fur as he sings him an ancient lullaby. At some point during the song, just before he drifts off to sleep, Kero sees a small gray cat force it's way between them. That Puss wants to be with them is nothing new, but then the cat gives him a sly wink before curling up against Tam and that is indeed out of ordinary. He finds himself dreaming of cats and smoke, of Hopian and him as cubs together, and of a certain cocky bard who seems to have lost his way.

*Kero stirs in his dreams, falling into memories of Tes, wondering who she is, and when he awakens, he seeks out Tam*

Tam decides to both tease him and tell him the truth. "Ah... she's yer fiancee... nice lady... even if she a bit bossy."

Great...then...wait a second...why do I suddenly remember standing before a priest, and saying vows...only to discover a note...you liar...I'm already married, aren't I?

Tam chuckles and nods. "yeah... I'm afraid so... ye done tied the knot... to yer tamer, ye poor sot." Then he laughs openly. "Actually, she may be yer tamer... but I know for a fact it was a mutual arrangement... And don't ye worry... she's not going to come storming in here demanding ye return home or something... not yet anyway."

Tam sighs. "Not exactly... I am what is called immortal... or as close as one can get to it. I do not age and barring certain kinds of accidents, will not die. You, dulcha, though ancient beyond belief, can die... and someday will, most likely when you've decided the world can live without you... or Hopian comes into some form of foul play."
He sits down and motions for Kerobian to take a seat nearby. "How old do you think you really are?"
