I'm not changing the title love, no worries.
Oh lord, that is a bigger threat then you can imagine. I've been around french speaking people so often lately, I'm ready to strangle myself or take classes. ._.
And thanks, though I don't seem to be doing anything much more than I usually do. This guild and it's people befuddle me at times. @o@;
Now that it's over I don't even know what I liked about you brought you around and you just brought me down

haha, Well, that stopped, so I don't quite want to kill the French language anymore xD But I'll probably be taking classes next year. I have to look into how to sign up for those.
I was, I've stopped recently because this guild causes me more undue stress then school x.X So I'm avoiding it. Also, because I feel like I'm the only senior ever around, except for Meta's occasional updates D:

Of course! That's what this place is for!
Welcome to the Love Shack, home of the guild's random conversations when they aren't happening in the wrong places xD
I think I forgot to say hello to you in the Intro thread - My apologies, I've been busy finishing up the school year. I am Rosie, and I am pleased to have someone with your excellent skills join our guild. You shall be good for us :3

Thanks :3 I am not sure I am so deserving of all these compliments. <3 I love random conversations. I am particularly good at derailing conversations in person! You can call me Sy, Lori, or I suppose Rei >.> Whatever suits your fancy. Sometimes I even answer to profanity...

Illicit Romance Hi-ho BlueBlue. Can you answer my question about what happened to everyone? Dx
They died.
Actually, I believe it's to do with schooling, for most people, though I haven't talked to Cala in MONTHS, because I'm horrid with keeping up with people, even though it's as easy as pie to click on a name and say hello. I would actually really like to know where they all went myself. I'm tried of trying to do everything in the guild. Also; question for you, is any senior allowed to accept Guild Join Requests/Send invites? What would be the sort of request you could decline? I've been leaving that to Ari, but... well. She's not here. Except, obviously, someone must be, because we keep getting new members. Curious. Anything else?
Syren: Of course you are, if Illicit speaks so highly of your skills, then you are quite deserving of them. I'm afraid to roleplay with you, I'm not good enough D: Random conversations are excellent, and in person - even better! Yes, I shall quite enjoy your company here.

I have never had someone claim they are not good enough to role-play with me. >.> I enjoy role-playing with everyone; heck, I have been known to quite enjoy some one-liner sorts! So... don't think such absurd things. I'd love for you to play with me.
rofl
Kitty Katastrophe/Ari accepted my application when I pm'ed it to her. I assure you that she is either alive or something has eaten her, taken over her place, and found my application amusing enough to accept and send an invite.

Well. I feel as though my roleplaying could improve, I'm just lazy. Which explains why I'm only in one roleplay in here, and that's just 'cause it's mine. I feel if I were still writing, it might be a bit of a difference, I'd have improved by now, but school doesn't allow for fun writing. You made me feel a bit better about it though, and I should like to play with you too :3
Mmm, as I figured. She checks in to do that sort of thing, but doesn't stay. Understandable, she always seemed so busy with extra classes and the like. Nevermind then Illicit, I didn't really want the burden of deciding who was in and who was out anyways.

Anyone with access to the Join Requests has the power to accept and deny applicants. I just accepted and denied one the other day, both in a row. The criteria for successful admission are clearly posted on the front page, and if they do not meet them as a result of their inability to read/follow the rules of application, they are to be denied. But I wouldn't worry too much about that; I generally take care of applicants. Though I'm not sure if that's to their advantage or not...
Going to sleep now. Goodnight, you two.

I would say that most writers I know divide themselves squarely into two camps. I'll let you decide which I like best =)
1. The Self-Scrutinizing: This writer is the most typical regardless of genre. If given the chance they will take everything they have written, rip it to pieces, and scream loudly. They can find invisible flaws in everything they compose with amazing clarity. Nothing they write is ever good enough to really convey the amazing ideas in their head. They almost all have idols.
2. The Self-Empowered: This writer is more typical in writing with social interaction. They are incredibly proud of everything they write and while they might see their errors they don't really care what you think about them. They are confident in their abilties, some edging on arrogance. You can't really fault them: they ARE good and should be proud of themselves. Humble pie might be nice.
I am #1. I usually despise my writing. I am writing a book which I have invested a lot of time in and it's only it's length and the fear my friends and family will kill me if I destroy it that keeps it alive. Is it as bad as I think? Doubtful. But it's not as great as I'd like it to be. I want it to be just like I imagined.... maybe better. Dean Koontz or Tolkien quality (what a pair, I know). You, my dear, are fantastic. Don't slip into #1 with me. =)
