( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

Bree pushed the last beads of water droplets away from her eyes, curving her curly bangs back away from her face as she wrapped what was left of the olive green towel around her body. It was still pretty early - not nearly as early as it had been when Hakem called her, but definitely early enough of a time that she hadn't quite accommodated with; even being pregnant and having to occasionally wake up early from morning sickness. Luckily, the further on the pregnancy went, the easier it was getting and the less vomit was protruding from her mouth. She glanced down at the floor, to her soft purple painted toes, then along the white tile to the door. It had been around 8 in the morning that the bluenette let her in, slipping past the doorway just enough that Tyrese hadn't heard her. Though she had been invited, she still didn't want him to wake nor worry about her not being home. Finn understood. They had all decided to take shifts on taking care of Tyrese anyhow - and soon it would come to be hers. For now... She could teach Hakem how to take care of him. Sure, he was his nephew, but that didn't mean the man had a natural touch with children. Not to mention... She swallowed, peering down at her fabric covered stomach. She remembered that night, arms around Victoria as she cried into the Chemist's chest. It was one of the few times she had seen her so very fragile, desperately clinging on to Bree in hopes to feel better about her infertility - even if she had known about it for a few years now. But they had come to terms, Tori and Hakem, and now lived up to their own expectations once more... Just closer now. Which was great. She'd finally feel like she could have her old friends again.. What with Jacob, Lucas, Skylar and all of them out of sight.

She creaked open the door, pulling ever so gently on the latch so as not to disturb the possibly still sleeping wolf downstairs. Whatever had happened in the mean time of her shower, she had missed, but she could certainly point out the slightly terrible smell emanating from the floor below. Gruh... Maybe she did need to go downstairs; after she got dressed of course, which she was very inclined to do had she not noticed the door shut from it's once open position. Her eyes narrowed. Maybe Hakem had forgotten something? He had been in such a fuss to get out of the guest room - wanting to give the curly haired brunette her own space. Hakem, I'm fine! Seriously! She had muttered in an exasperated hushed tone. I'll take the guest bedroom downstairs, there's plenty of room. I don't need a big bed just because I'm pregnant. But relentlessly he had insisted, already with her bag and purse in hand - climbing up the stairs and leaving her behind. With a smile she gave one last glance to Tyrese, and ascended along with him. A flash of smiles and a teasing curtsy from her, and she was off to dreamland once again, curled in the covers of what felt like heaven's bliss. Now she crept along the hallway, grabbing the latch. Once she was positive she heard the sound of movement downstairs, she pushed open the door, water drops still danging along the edges of her hair and down on her shoulders. She clutched the towel, grimacing into a stand still when she saw just exactly who was on her bed. Just because she made the bed before her shower didn't mean it was an invitation for someone to come in and sit on it like they owned the God damn place. Why was she here anyway? "Out." She hissed, pleasantries gone. If she expected her to be kind, that was out the window. Time alone wouldn't heal her past despairs. Her heart was pounding in her ears, anger already flushing through her body. The venom from her one word itself poured from her babydoll, pink lips. But not once did she take her eyes off of the blonde threat. There was absolutely no way in hell Tyrese would have let her in, much less Hakem without some sort of consent. So what the hell did she think she was doing here, leisurely reading?

Demon ║ 22 ║ $905 ║ Saisons Manager ║ Finally Seeing Him

Lillian looked up from the notebook when she heard the voice of a woman that was barely familiar to her. A slightly dazed look was on her features as she stared at the toweled brunette, blankly staring at her as if she didn’t understand a word she was saying, or the tone behind it. Thank you painkillers! Slowly licking her lips, the blonde’s eyes widened a little as she pushed her lips to one side and closed the notebook and slowly got to her feet. “Sorry, didn’t know the room was taken,” she mumbled halfheartedly as she clutched the book to her chest and walked past the pregnant woman to grab her things. It wasn’t that big of a deal to her to change rooms. Sure, there was only one other guest room, but there was a second living room with a second couch and everything. She’d gladly sleep on the couch, or even the floor, if Ty didn’t want her on his furniture. But only if Ty didn’t want her too, not because his friends hated her. It didn’t matter to her what they thought of her, she didn’t love, or even like, any of them. She wanted to be with him, not them.

Walking out of the room without another word, she made her way down the hall to the other guest room filled with bunk beds and closed the door. She wasn’t done reading and wanted to do so in private, was that really too much to ask? Of course she’d be accosted for even taking it to begin with when Ty found out, but still, she couldn’t stop the craving of knowing the types of things he was writing about. Especially if there were things written about her in here; maybe then she could get a better grasp of what was going on in his head so she could make things right. She would also have to call Sinclair later to check up on Sela and see how she was doing. There was a strong possibility that she was worried with her being gone the past few days again and not seeing her father. First things first! Opening the notebook back up, she began re-reading the first page as she wandered over to one of the beds and flopped down, hunching over just a bit so she wouldn't hit her head on the wooden frame.

Hakem was slightly amused by this, the whole crazy ex thing going on here. Because, yeah, he was getting a stalker, crazy lady vibe from the fact Ty didn't want Lillian here and she was screwing him over. He chuckled as his ceramic cup rested against his lips. Well, Ty had be super into it back in high school, hadn't he. So, if Victoria was coming for a shift of keeping an eye on Ty, then she could deal with the blonde. Or Aubrey could- which he should have mentioned as Lillian showed herself upstairs. Or he could tell himself he wasn't obliged to warn someone who wasn't invited inside, which was exactly what he did as he checked the time and went to grab his keys. It was Aubrey's turn now, he had errands to run for his nephew which included getting his phone fixed and picking up his car from the B&B. Besides, he wasn't sticking around in case of a cat fight. "I'll be back, Aubrey's here to watch you for me while I get some things taken care of. She can cook for you, if it's her you don't have to worry about the two other people who can poison you." He informed with a wink to the younger wolf. Tyrese was too busy having his fit to reply, which was fine by Hakem as he spun his keys on his finger and made his way out the door.

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

Maybe it was the disappointment of not being able to hurt her, or the expectation of an apology, but regardless Bree was left staring the woman down like prey of a predator. She just didn't care. She didn't care that she ripped apart a family, that she almost killed someone else's child with no actual regret, and practically caused a divorce between the her and her husband. Not even to begin on the pain she had put Tyrese through. For the last few weeks she had watched the author grow from desperate to just... Almost apathetic, if not still angry over the situation. She didn't budge, letting the blond slip around her, letting one last venomous hush of, "Of course you didn't." and slamming the door behind her; hardly allowing the woman to completely get out of the room. To hell with her. She could go use the only other guest room on the bottom floor - there were plenty of beds in the one room alone. She stared at the bed another moment, practically feeling the after essence of her where Bree had previously slept. Great. She'd have to ask Tyrese if she could wash the sheets just to remove the stench aura. She pushed off the ground, avoiding the edge of the bed, and moving towards her own night bag, pulling out a bottle of lotion and scented curling amplifier. Not that she needed it, but she had been using it since being a young teen - and she wasn't going to stop the post-shower tradition now. She slipped her hands up and down her skin, letting the towel drop as she ran the white liquid over her legs, stomach, arms, private areas, and face. She just wanted the damn woman to leave this house. She didn't deserve to be in this house. She didn't even deserve to be near Tyrese in general; because as far as she was concerned? She hadn't done jack s**t to make up for what she did.

She exhaled the anger sharply, sliding on a pair of underwear, only to be followed by jeans, a bra, a tank top, and a sweat shirt. If it warmed up at all, she could just slip the sweater off and leave it to the side, but instead she decided to keep it on - letting it bundle her somewhat cold skin. The last few droplets of water fell from the ends of her curls, the strands slowly becoming a better, dark chocolate brown instead of black the more it dried. Had Hakem told him she was here, anyway? Maybe he sniffed her out. He had a good nose... All of them did. Sheesh. It was like if she had her pregnancy sniffer on all the damn time. Then again... Hers was mostly for smelling out sweets anyhow. The sour taste remained in her mouth as she violently turned and ripped the top bedding off of the bed, throwing it towards the door, then stepping over it and out the door. Down the stairs she descended. Once she turned the corner, she began to speak, scratching along the side of her neck from where the last water specks were, brushing them off with her fingertips. "I didn't realize we were letting street filth in." She snorted, continuing on before her eyes finally landed on the wolf as she approached. "A warning would have been ni- What are you doing." Her previous conversation to herself stopped as she eyed him, an eyebrow rising in curiosity. He looked hurt. And pissed. Very pissed. "Hey.." She paused, pressing her hand to the table to sit on her knees off to the side of him. She pressed her hands against her lap. "Are you okay?"

Tyrese threw all three of his pill bottles and his glass of water on the floor in attempts of getting the attention of the blonde, the glass cup shattered and his pill bottle spilled out its contents on his hardwood floor as he raised his voice to reach the stairwell. "Lillian- Lillian! Get your a** back here!" He yelled after the shadow had already passed into another presence. Going unheard and ignored, he crossed his arm over the other and folded along his chest to pinch the bridge of his nose. Seriously?! She was going to do this now of all times?! The wolf locked his jaw and closed his eyes, hearing the front door shut as his uncle made himself scarce. b*****d.

Now alone again with his own thoughts, he threw the only other pillow on the bed somewhere into obscurity and used the couch to prop him up. It was infuriating when she did this, she knew he couldn't put her out. The wolf was so engulfed in himself he didn't noticed Aubrey at first. It wasn't until she was directly at his side that his smoldering gaze landed on her face. "Yeah..." He grumbled, rubbing his hand down his face.he paused before looking her over again, his head nodding to take her in from head to toe. "Hey, Aubrey, did you just get here?." That wasn't a good thing if Lillian was here, he couldn't be breaking up any fights. Then again, Lillian came back looking like utter hell too, hopefully he wouldn't be doing any fighting either.

A tear dropped against the scribbled on paper, wrinkling the spot and bleeding the blue lines between the pen ink. Slowly a hand came up to cover her mouth as she stifled a painful, but heartwarming, sob. It was the life she wanted with him, but written in words. Something simple and perfect for them, and what she found on these pages summed up exactly what she wanted. While she couldn’t make out everything, she could make out enough to read through until there was nothing more to be discerned. These words said he still loved her, but the ones he spoke and his actions, said that he didn’t anymore. What was she to believe? How could she go about trying to fix something when she wasn’t even sure there was anything left to try fixing? Running her fingers over the page still open to her, she sniffled and swallowed the lump in her burning throat. This was an idealized version of her, something he wanted, hoped for; but she obviously wasn’t. The idea of being in his good graces again...Lillian sighed heavily as she slowly closed the notebook and looked out the window at his backyard. Maybe it was just better that she disappeared for good this time. The version of her in his notebooks and books, wasn’t the woman she really was, which meant she couldn’t give him the life he was hoping for. No matter how much either of them wanted her to be, she just wasn’t. Not anymore. Another couple of tears dripped from her cheeks onto the cover, causing the blonde to quickly wipe the tears away and sniffle again. Pulling the book to her chest, she slowly pushed herself to her feet and made her way quietly out of the room and able to hear the voices downstairs. She was still here.

Clearing her throat, she slowly descended the stairs and made sure to hide the book behind her back. Lillian didn’t mind being scolded by Ty, but she didn’t want to hear the backseat remarks from his friend, whose business it wasn’t to be involved. Walking over towards them, Lillian swallowed before licking her lips and speaking up. “Ty, can I talk to you-” she paused and eyed the brunette. “Alone.” Holding up her hand towards Bree, she changed her posture a bit to coincide with the lack of emotion she had towards her. “Before you start flapping your gums Mrs. Teagan, this has absolutely nothing to do with you. What Ty chooses to tell you afterwards, is just that; words. It’s none of your business no matter who he is to you, so a bit of privacy for the people actually involved would be nice.” Detached and not a hint of emotions behind her words as she addressed Bree. She was speaking to her as though the woman was a colleague of some sort. “I don’t want to fight, so make it easier on everyone and make yourself scarce for a few minutes,” she added with a stoic look upon her features. This really was none of her business. Despite what she may think, she wasn’t apart of the core individuals involved. This was a matter between her, Ty and Jason. Although, technically the part with Ty and Jason had kind of been settled, there was still plenty for her and Ty to work through and none of it involved that nosey twit. In fact, she was just hindering everything by sticking herself between them. She wasn’t helping, she was making things worse by not letting them get their closure and helping Ty move on; which was actually what Lillian wanted for him. She was no good to him, just like she had said the night she came home.

Turning back to Ty, she gave him a silent look asking him if he could get her to leave, even if for only a little bit. Lillian wasn't stupid, she knew Bree wouldn't leave no matter if she asked politely or not. She just didn't want to deal with her, at all. She disliked the constant look she was being given, as if the woman was trying to reaffirm just how much of a screw up she was. Did no one get that she was the one that had to live with her mistake and knew that?! "Ty, please..." she whispered softly, slowly peeking a corner of his notebook out from behind her back for him to see.

Lillian became visible from behind the crouched Aubrey, getting Tyrese's attention as she stepped forward and spoke. It earned his hardened gaze finding her face, his lips making no attempt to move as she went on to make sure to hush the brunet before she could even speak. That was assuming Aubrey would, before Lillian said what she did. Aubrey hadn't been the devil on his shoulder telling Tyrese to leave the blonde this whole time. Although he wasn't blind to the resentment, he couldn't argue with it given what happened. Like he told Lillian already, she couldn't expect the wind to blow these things over for her. Ty waited a good few minutes after Lillian spoke, his gaze drifting to several other places in the room, including both women's faces, before his ear lowered itself towards his shoulder when he cocked his head. "It's Tyrese, by the way. Not Ty. And Lillian, I think that was a little unnecessary of you. She's only here to help,” He said as his eyes fell to his lap, almost looking as if they had closed. “I mean, I didn’t have to even ask for her help, she just offered." He shrugged. Was he defending Aubrey? Yes, but the other half of it was wanting to spite the blonde with her own words. This was a family emergency, wasn't it? Aubrey was here to help him, Lillian could manage some forced generosity for that reason.

His eyes were burning when he saw the notebook from behind her back, the blue of his eyes appearing almost black with clouded anger. "I can tell you now, whatever you read in there doesn't give us something new to talk about." He'd scribbled that yesterday and finished it just this morning, the fact that she not only invited herself in but helped herself to his things was just pissing him off all the more. Not to mention her passive aggressive tone in absolutely everything. "At least Aubrey is welcome in my home." The wolf became silent again, looking down at his hospital gown before signing. "Hey Aubrey, can you give us a second? Hakem burned the s**t out of lunch and I'm about ready to get cleaned up. Id appreciate if I had your help with those things." He asked, looking over to the one other person in the room. She probably wasn't convinced he could be left alone with Lillian at all, but rather than meddling she'd been supporting him this whole time. She was going to back off if he asked her to.

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

"Well... Let me know if you need anything." She nodded along, eyeing down his bandages and broken areas with curiosity. She couldn't say she didn't know the reason he was unhappy - she was in his house. Hell, she didn't even need to be in the same vicinity to cause chaos in people's lives - she only had to exist and be present in this universe. With a sigh, she eyed him again, this time spotting the now bloodied area that hadn't been there this morning when her and Hakem had checked on him. "No." She whispered, leaning forward as she trailed her fingertips across the carpet, feeling delicately around the wound along his side so as not to receive any blood on her hands. "We'll have to change these and fix whatever the hell happened." There was another faint pause before she began to go on with the explanation of her own presence. "Hakem called me early this morning and asked me to stop by to help take care of you. I know it wasn't my shift, but hey, at least I can cook." There was a faint wink as she tried to play off her anger. Only a small moment of silence and a stop in her actions redirected her thoughts otherwise. "I know she's here..." She murmured, the slightest of what felt like a feral growl undertaking her tone. "She was sitting on the bed reading when I came back into the guest room." It was the second time she had seen Lillian since the "incident". Once at the opening, and once today - and either time? Nothing. Not an apology. Not a note. Not an emotion of guilt or regret. Nothing. Nothing but a heartless glance and a simple 'I didn't know' from upstairs. "I hate her.." She whispered, gritting her teeth together and placing a hand against the hard bump that had slowly begun to form on the bottom area of her stomach, just above her waist. So much pain.. So much agony.. Depression... For those first few weeks she had stared up at nothing but a ceiling fan, occasionally speaking to help Tyrese and curling against her husband during those sleepless nights.

She sniffed, letting what small tears had formed in her amethyst eyes dissipate in the air conditioned room. Footsteps from the opposite guest room on the bottom floor and she whipped her head to the side, curls following close behind as they brushed against the nape of her neck. Her eyes narrowed on the hated figure, blood boiling within the instant as the anger returned full force. It wasn't long before her assumptions were proven to be fact. Though she had said absolutely nothing, only the slight protest reflected in her eyes of her being in this household, she had gone to beyond lengths to retaliate to nothing - and in one of the rudest ways possible. Flapping your gums, it's none of your business, people actually involved... They were all lies. She thinned her lips, flashing her pearly whites for a second and clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth. "Funny." She began. "I don't remember owing you anything. Then again, someone so self oriented probably thinks otherwise." She remained still, settled smartly with Tyrese - her hand still firmly planted on his side with the gentlest of touches. It was true. She didn't owe anything. She didn't care how beaten and broken the blonde b***h looked. It had nothing to do with her life - or Tyrese's - as far as she was concerned. And if he wanted to keep her after this, which she highly doubted, then that would be just fine, but that didn't mean she could avoid the situation forever. Tyrese had a family now. A real family. Not an impossible illusion of the c**t's fantasies, which she seemed to have so keenly wrapped herself in to. She had to pick whether she liked it or not. It was Jason or Tyrese. Why either of them still dealt with her was beyond her.

And so she stayed, watching Lillian with almost smug satisfaction as Tyrese gave his opinion on the matter. That was right. She had been there for him. She had picked up his late night phone calls, come over just so he could try and try again to make a cup of tea that she would enjoy, cheered him up when he needed to be pulled out of the gutter - and where had she been? Frolicking in her own world. Acting like everything was fine and peachy. Hence her appearance here, talking like they had known each other for years and as if her and the bluenette had a casual break up. She slipped her hand down side with a touch that only pleaded that he wouldn't break beneath her fingertips. The grey sweatshirt that baggily hung on her arm guided downward to the center of her hand. Her eyes, however, remained fixated past the woman's hand - what was this, high school? And onto the garnet eyes watching Tyrese. The tile beneath her feet felt warm, though she was positive it was cold everywhere else around her. Admittedly the look he gave her was scary, down right terrifying to see such a dark gaze follow, but... It filled her with further accomplishment. Had she s**t talked her to Tyrese every so often? Of course. But what could she do? The woman had almost killed her "unborn child", then her in the process of a fight that was instigated by Lillian's own actions. Bree could practically see the red spikes coming at her, the twitch and speed of grass as she was thrown across the front lawn, only to land with a bone cracking slap against the pavement. She had chosen to cheat. There was no 'accident' when it came right down to it. It was a matter of getting naked - feeling absolutely no self consciousness or guilt - and letting another man over take her willingly; apparently just days after spending an entire weekend at Tyrese's house. That was what she was missing in her life. Guilt. Regret. She wanted things to be better without taking the time out of her life and fixing them.

She watched Lillian, nodding slowly at Tyrese's request. He had done nothing to harm her and she respected his wishes both as a family member, a would-be suitor, and godfather. "Gladly." She pushed against the white stone table, glancing over the plant and looked back down to him with the smallest of smiles. Unfortunately, she was upset that he had asked her to leave - but this was her territory now. And with the way Lillian looked, well, there was nothing stopping her from finishing and doing what actions she had held back the first time around. The pool would always be of use. "I'll clean up the kitchen and start a bath. After all..." She paused, beginning her pretentious and self assured walk to the kitchen, hands clasped behind her back. "It's what families do. You should try it some time." The last part was obvious to where it was directed, her body just passing by Lillian's to make it ring loud and clear. A somewhat Cheshire smile stuck to her lips, though it would remain unapparent to them both now that she was turned away. "Then again, I heard I'm all the woman you'll never be." Was the last faint whisper, just loud enough to reach both ears before she turned around the corner and disappeared.

Demon ║ 22 ║ $905 ║ Saisons Manager ║ Finally Seeing Him

“Before you start ripping into me, just listen a second,” she began as she slowly crouched down beside him, setting his notebook on the air mattress for him. Only a few seconds in the position and she couldn’t handle it, having to just sit on the floor instead. Licking her lips slowly, she ran her hand along her jaw as she let her gaze drift away from him and out into his backyard. Thinking on how he suddenly wanted her to call him Tyrese instead of the name he let everyone else, including strangers, call him, she felt that empty, apathetic hole drilling into her chest again. The one where she felt no urge to gush and cry, but felt utterly numb inside and just let her words come out uncensored. “No one had to ask me to come over and check on you, or want to help you. In fact, I’m sure no one would have told me at all,” Lillian looked back over to him with a neutral expression, slowly lacing her fingers together in her lap. “What about Sela? Would I have had to wait until she was told and hear it from a three year old that the- you were severely injured? I slept outside your house waiting for you, took time off work for you. I dropped everything so I could help you recover and make sure you were still in one piece.” Lillian paused as she licked her lips again, dropping her head and running a hand through her long hair. She really needed to cut it all off. Snatching the book from where she placed it, she flipped open the pages to the fantasy he wrote of them. The knuckles of her right hand turned white as she grabbed it tightly and pointed to the words that were made visible from all his frantic scribbling out of some of it. “This part of you, that seems so keen on saying he still loves me is a load of bullshit! No man who says they love someone would heartlessly say or do the things you’ve done to me. You don’t love me anymore and I’m making peace with that. But you can’t-” she violently flipped a few pages and shoved the notebook back into his face where her single tear stained the page where it was her end of the fantasy conversation. “You can’t think I would say things like this without believing them to be true in some way. ‘I would fight for you, for our family, until my very last breath. I’ve screwed up, but you’re the only one that has ever made me want to work so hard for something. You. There is no doubt in my mind that you’re indeed my soul mate; I’ve thought so from the very beginning of our relationship.’ ” With a small sigh of frustration, she closed the book and pushed it into his chest for him to take back. Looking away from him with a shake of her head, she finally hoisted herself up from the floor, her back to him before slowly turning back to him and looking down at his position leaning against the couch.

“By the way, I wanna talk about your friend for a minute; Tyrese,” she said emphasizing his insistence on her using his full name. “What does any of our situation have to do with her? It’s great that she’s so willing to help you out in your time of need and all, but the things I’m sure she says about me and the looks she gives me are entirely uncalled for. You want me to be civil to her, tell her the same damn thing. She has no right to be butting into our business like it’s hers and I certainly don’t appreciate you enabling her!” Lillian placed one hand on her hip while the other pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed heavily. Dropping her hand, she slowly lulled her head back to look up at the ceiling as she shifted her weight to one leg. “I...I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently…” she trailed off, another sigh leaving her lips as she brought her gaze back down to him and sat back down on the floor. A deep, forlorn look came to her garnet eyes as she stared down at the sheets on the air mattress, almost zoning out. “I think it would make everyone happy if I just gave up my paternal rights and leave, for good. Everyone thinks I’m a terrible mother anyways.” Her hand once again combed through her slightly curled hair as she looked away and into some random direction, her gaze still detached from what was in front of it. “That fantasy woman in your writing, I’m not her. That’s a child’s dream of who we were. Yes, I’ve made mistakes, and they are mistakes even though I made the choice to do them, but I’m still condemned for them no matter how many times I try to make up for them. I might as well walk around with a scarlet letter embroidered on my clothes. I’m not that woman you think I am anymore; quite literally actually. I’m a whole different person from back then. I mean, I’m only twenty-one, but not only did I have to skip the last of my teen years, I was turned into a full blooded demon in that time. I’m evil- Well, more like chaotic neutral, but still. I still, occasionally, have the urge to be wild and crazy, but I stay at home and take care of my daughter. I go to work and come home. I grocery shop and cook meals. I get myself dressed, then a three year old, and then put her and myself to bed. I comfort her at night when she has nightmares. I comfort her when she’s sad about something. I had to give everything up while everyone else has been enjoying their teens and getting all those crazy experiences out of their systems. But now that I’ve done some of them, I’m fairly sure I’m done…” Lillian’s words trailed off as she gave a halfhearted laugh as though any of her words didn’t matter to him. They never did anymore. What was the point then?

“But,” she groaned in pain as she pushed herself back to her feet. “Since I’m not welcome here, I’ll get my stuff and go. I’ll work on getting the papers for giving up my rights, so you can have Sela all to yourself and no longer have to worry about me screwing up your child.” Walking towards the stairs, she stopped as she placed one foot on the first step and her hand on the railing. “And by the way, Tyrese, nobody would ever have to ask me to be by your side. If you needed help, or just support, I’d be there for you no matter what. In a heartbeat. You wanna know why? Because you’re the only one that has ever made me work so hard for something.” Her shoulders dropped a little as her head tilted a little as she looked up the stairwell before beginning her climb up to the third floor for her things. She couldn't argue with the fact that he had, kind of, said she wasn't welcome in his home anymore. So, she'd leave.

Tyrese watched Aubrey make her way out of the room, unable to see her form after she passed by Lillian, but fully aware of every firey dart she left to linger behind. He wet his lips, placing his hand where the brunet's fingers had grazed his abdomen and feeling a damp spot through the fabric. 'I hate her' stained the inner part of his consciousness like the blood on the blue cloth. He let her vent her hostility on occasion in the past without replying- whether to agree or to deflect her opinion. He'd cried too many tears and drowned in too many cups of strong drink to be concerned with defending Lillian's integrity. Not after having his daughter turned over and her presence removed for two weeks, in the middle of all that was happening. He didn't care anymore. As she left, Lillian took her place beside his mattress with his notebook. He stared at it with a small scowl before looking away from the lyrics written inside. He didn't need to know what they said, he just wrote them. Instead he turned his frown to her, holding his hand between the book at his face as she shoved it closer and provoked a growl from his scarred vocal cords. He was particularly careful to hold his tongue until the last possible minute, blinking up in stunned surprise as she mentioned giving up Sela. But he stifled that with skepticism and disbelief; no way would she do that. Finding it worthy of dismissal, he swallowed a bitter coating on his tongue and angled his head towards her as she tried to leave. "Lillian, get over here and sit down. It's damn childish of you to walk away just in time for you to have the last word, especially if you're saying you're going to give up Sela.""

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

For the love of God, it was like that's all she did. Talk, talk, talk. It was the equivalent to listening to a desperate teenager trying to get that last bit of adrenaline running through their system along with their cohorts. Okay, wait, wait. I know the last one was a bust, but just hear me out... As Bree entered the kitchen, the smell hit her like a bullet train - but it did nothing to deter her smugness over Tyrese's response. She didn't get a candlelight dinner on opening night after giving Sela back to her. The table placed so delicately on the balcony, flowers overwhelming the center of the table. Tyrese had pulled his ukulele; having recently had lessons - and played her a song she could only recognize from the playlist he gave her. She sighed, curls falling past her face as she leaned over to glance at the pot Hakem was in the middle of creating; now left abandoned along with his person. Where did he go anyway? Well, it didn't matter. For now, she needed to focus on the task at hand - though the b***h's words were somewhat clear coming through the kitchen. It didn't help that she as slightly shouting and being overall loud. She gripped the pot, carrying it over to the trash to empty out the contents before bringing it back towards the now running water in the sink. - but the things I’m sure she says about me and the looks she gives me are entirely uncalled for. Every part of the brunette's body itched to go back into the room and drown that blond. Drown her in that pool where no one would remember her. She wanted to beat the living s**t out of her, tear her hair off her ugly a** head, and make her choke on it. - and I certainly don’t appreciate you enabling her! "Welcome to the life, dumb a**. You've been doing the same thing." She muttered quietly to herself, slamming the pot into the sink where it echoed throughout the room. It was like she was playing stupid. Did she not remember throwing someone across the lawn? Letting someone penetrate her while her daughter was in the house? And then scheming around with Jason like it didn't exist. Not a single apology was uttered in her entire speech. Typical.

Bree gripped the sides of the sink, gritting her teeth whilst tears fell back to her eyes again. She hated her. Hated her. She didn't owe her anything. A slap to the face? Sure, fine. She deserved that one. But that was nothing compared to be lifting up from the throat and being shoved across the lawn. Luckily for her, unlike the blond knew, Aubrey didn't need air to breathe. She knew she should have placed Jacob's feather into a piercing; some way to keep it on her body at all times. <********> you." She hissed quietly into the water, scrubbing until she realized the actual paint had been coming off the pan. Damn it. Slowly she was beginning to feel like she had nobody again. She had no idea where her husband was, and that this rate, it's like he didn't care again; or at least it didn't feel like it. Tyrese was hurt to the point that he was either loopy or irritated as hell. The curry smell was disappearing. If you needed help, or just support, I’d be there for you no matter what. She didn't love him. She didn't care about him. She only came here because she wanted a fight - was rearing her dragon head and snarling out fire as soon as she walked in. The sink pipe began to rattle, but just as quickly as it started, it stopped, the rest of the water left drying at the bottom of the sink in a steaming puddle, beyond it's boiling point. It sizzled and bubbled, disappearing down the sink. Her narrowed amethyst eyes closed for a second as she raised a hand to pinch the bridge of her nose.

And now she was giving up her child and walking away. Did she not understand the meaning of family? Obviously not. And especially not by the way Tyrese was hissing at her to sit her a** down. She didn't miss that one. He may have slightly hurt vocal cords, but not to the point where she couldn't hear. She was only willing to be there for 3% of her child's life. Never had someone made her so angry in her life. She had threatened to take away family, her family, and had done so in one swift movement. She turned on her heel, trying to stop her own rising anger as she began towards the bathroom.

The fact that he even made an attempt to get her to stop, caused the blonde to stop a little less than half way up the stairs. It wasn’t all that childish of her to walk away after speaking, he never wanted to talk to her again anyways right? She was only really complying with what he had said to begin with. Sure, it had to do with Sela, but not all of it did. But of course that was the only part he wanted to talk about. He wouldn’t even touch on the part about Bree because it was almost as obvious as if he were holding a sign around his neck that said he had a thing for her. She had noticed it and Lysander told her about the little ‘kidnapping’ stunt after Ty had specifically asked for her brother’s help. He was still sour over that too. Well, she was still pissed about the part where the two of them slept together! Still gross. Lillian slowly turned around and stared down at him with the same neutral look she had kept the entire time she had been speaking to him. Eh, maybe one day her words would get through that thick skull of his.

With a snort and roll of her eyes, obviously displeased about having to talk to him any further, she still complied with his snappy request. Although, the sooner he said his peace, the sooner she could leave and he could go back to hating her in private and she wouldn’t have to watch as he silently wished her to burn in the Hell. Ironic, if you think about it. Walking back down the stairs, she silently made her way back over to the bed and sat down; never once saying a word. What was there left to say? Why would any of it even matter when she knew he would just deny anything she said, call her a liar and a slut and then try to force her out himself or have his clingy friend do so. Propping her elbow on her knee, she dropped her cheek into the palm of her hand and silently waited for him to say whatever it is he wanted to say.

Tyrese didn't have much a choice but to sit and wait for the blonde to take a seat, but he did so patiently until she had every chance to get settled in. He was nibbling his lip, feeling a thin line of liquid run down his side and bleed onto the the air mattress under him. It was easy enough to ignore the pain as he tried to organize his thoughts, because had she obeyed when he told her to leave in the first place then there wouldn't be a discussion now, however, since she decided she wanted to listen after the fact, it was now too late to put everything on him and try to walk away. Finally he sighed and rolled his neck on his shoulders, lifting his good arm to pick at the dried blood that glued his hair to his neck. "Okay, so, being angry with you doesn't seem to work. You put up that wall of yours so you don't have to be hurt over and over again by what I'm saying. I mean, that expression you're wearing says it all. You only get passive aggressive and take everything as an insult, or you do what you want to do anyway and ignore me." His hand stilled before falling into his lap with a dull thump. He felt tired, but at the same time he could feel his medication wearing off. The pills and the water were spilled on the floor not far from the stair case. He hung his head down and thinned his lips into a line. "Having a heart to heart didn't work with you either; the moment you started hearing an answer you didn't like, you threw away everything else I had said and ran to that p***k like a dejected puppy." He paused, knowing what reaction to expect already; he didn't even look at her face to see if he was right. She was going to do the predictable thing. "I shouldn't even bother repeating myself again, because I know what the answer will be. But if I have to sit here and pat you on the back so you don't feel so bad about yourself? I will. If- When you take half this conversation and walk away again, then I'm going to let you. I won't say a word when you drop Sela off and omit yourself out of the life of your own child."

Sitting up was painful, aching now that his pillows were gone, but the wolf was too stubborn to find a more comfortable position. He leaned off the couch instead, trying to stay still rather than squirm. "Yes, a man can say he loves you in written form and turn around and treat you so coldly. He can do it when he's had enough. Lillian, the fact that, until three days ago I was willing to forgive you and try again after everything you put me through proves that we're soul mates. I was willing to fight for you. The fact that I no longer can proves that I'm human, with a breaking point. I was completely exposed to you when you came back. I sat here and told you I wanted to try again. The difference was that I said we needed time, a break to get ourselves right. And for some reason that was justification enough to you to go and see Jason. Lillian, for Christ's sake, why the hell do you think I would be willing to give you another chance when I found you with the man that-" He motioned to the notebook where it sat beside him. "Why do I want to see the face of the man who defiled my sanctity? There was, and never could be, a grey area where Jason could be your friend and I your lover. You're an idiot if you think taking a break meant seeing him again and that would be acceptable to me until I was ready to be with you again. What you actually showed me was that the 'one night stand' you said it was? Was way more than that. Apparently he's the kind of man you can see yourself being around, and not only is that a threat to me, it pisses me the ******** off. I don't understand how you don't see that. You defended him, you stood up for a man who was supposed to be a mistake and told your lover his anger was unnecessary. That's why I didn't stop Aubrey from saying what she just did, I was hoping it slapped you in the face hard enough to let you see if from my perspective. The only difference is that you've done an injustice to that woman. You almost killed her and her child, that is not what you call 'uncalled for.' You knew better before you threw her across the pavement that she was pregnant. Showing up the same day you did it and trying to apologize was wholly inappropriate. And since then you have not offered any signs of regret or humility for what you've done. So of course she looks at you like you can't be trusted. As for everything else, I'll have a talk with her. Then both the little children can be scolded, and you can feel like you're being treated fairly again. But that's you're problem, Lillian. You say you're sorry then you do something that shows you aren't sorry at all. Or you expect sorry to be enough to bandage everything. You left for two weeks, Lillian, you were not going to come back to any smiling faces. Like you said in the park, you left so you could fix you, so you could fix us. You know what you should have done? You should have fixed us first."

The man picked up the book again and slung it to the floor at her feet. "I know your heart, Lillian. I have for a long time. The woman in that book is you. Is it who've you've been acting like? No, and we both acknowledged that. The Lillian Hall I'm in love with never let 'I'm a demon, so it's in my blood' be an excuse for hurting the people she loves, she would never use words like that to justify knowingly screwing up. Ever since I met you, you were being who you wanted to be. You rebelled against your father and your mother to be with me, you weren't doing anything they wanted you to do. What about now. The Lillian I know is a fighter, she gets up every morning and gets herself dressed, then she dresses a toddler and works nine hours to make sure that toddler is provided for. She's not a pathetic wrench who sleeps with another man and leaves her child to go looking for her own self because she feels the need to live it up like she should have five years ago. Who wants a woman filled with that kind of bullshit, that's why you don't even like you right now. Get your s**t together, Lillian Hall. If you need to leave and get it out of your system, then by all means I will be the damn father I know I am and let you be a damn teenager again. And when you finally find yourself, don't try to walk back into our lives, that door will be shut." He pointed her out the door and stared her down with no regret or reservation. She didn't feel like she had an obligation? Fine. She was free as a bird to do what demons do. She could have as many pricks as she wanted sticking their dicks into her. "And here's another thing. I haven't been waiting since high school for you to screw up again. You haven't been walking on egg shells to give me an excuse to hate you. I've been waiting, ever since I learned you spit lies in my face because of something your bother did, to prove you were going to put everything on the line for me. I will admit you're right, I walked away from you. No, not knowingly, nevertheless the result was the same. But I will be damned if you compare what you did to what I did. I watched my mother die in front of me and listened as she cursed my name with her last breath. I didn't walk away in the middle of a crisis between us, I was not putting myself over you or going on a trip to discover myself. I had a mental breakdown and I could not function in normal society. You coming back and saying everything you do to make up for your mistakes is rejected? You had that chance two weeks ago, and even when I was giving you another chance you messed it up yet again. That's why I wish you told me I ruined this family three weeks ago rather than three days ago. That's the blame I take for myself. I wish, back when I was begging you to give me another chance in your life and you were reluctant to do it, I wish I stopped back then. I wish I had backed off and taken things slow, at least then sleeping with Jason would have been your right. If I don't know what it's like to be the reason the person you love is hurting, it's because I haven't treated my lover in a way that would put her through that. If you really think I don't know what that feels like, then don't scream it at me like it's wrong for me not to. After all the tears you cried while raising my child when I was no where to be found, yes, I know what it's like. I was on my knees in front of you Lillian, and if I've been a bad father since that day then please tell me now how I've screwed up our child. Tell me how I brought her around the person that ruined her family, tell her how I was making excuses not to be there, how I could claim to love you while I was entertaining the thoughts of the life I've missed. I haven't drowned out everything you've been saying to me, Lillian, I've just been waiting for your behavior to follow your words. You've always been hard headed, when I'm asking for space you always force your way on me anyway, it's your personality. But let me tell you, Lillian, you need to change right now. You just turned your back on me and spoke the exact words to me that I had written in my book, but you would say you aren't that woman? I know who you are, but I need to see her. I told you years ago that I would have run away with you, I was never around a person who was drowning me or dragging me down or being a burden to me- until now. Stop making excuses and throwing yourself a pity party, suck it the hell up and act like an adult. You've already pissed me off for the last time I'm ever going to allow you to. Do yourself a favor before you really sign that paperwork giving up your rights over the child you carried for nine months and raised for three years. Disrespect that woman in the kitchen in front of me again, I dare you. No one has been treating you unfairly or undeservedly. She has not been your mortal enemy, if it weren't for her you'd be staring at a headstone rather than a person. The ******** suicide letter is still on my desk. Someone needed to be 'butting into our business' and helping keep me together, my own best friend didn't see me worth the effort of coming around when I needed him, she was working on a broken marriage and still found a way to encourage me. She doesn't sit here and s**t talk you all day long. I didn't tell you what happened to me because I didn't want Sela to know. You're half of her lifeline and I wanted her to have a few days of ******** stability before either of your knew and had to worry. Do you get it now, or are you ready to leave?"

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

There was a long pause of silence while her hand rested on the doorway of the bathroom. Her eyes remained squeezed shut, trying not to concentrate on the conversation taking place in the living room. She didn't want to hear anymore of Lillian's bullshit, but it was Tyrese's argument that was drawing her ever so closer. She pressed her toes against the floor, still feeling the ever aching pain of her still healing rib since she had been up for so long. She pressed against the wall sideways, laying the side of her head and shoulder against it so as she wasn't pushing her weight against her feet. It didn't take her long to reach that same anger again, her palms pushing against her temples as the pipes in the bathroom began to rattle along. Bree deserved every right to be spiteful, furious, threatening, and smug. Every. Right. She gritted her teeth again, pushing open the bathroom door until it slammed on the opposite threshold. She dropped to her knees next to the porcelain, struggling to pull a hand away from her face in order to turn the bath water on. She took hold of the handle and pushed it enough so a full flow of water was going. It didn't matter if it was hot or cold - but if she couldn't control her temper, the entire house was going to have enough hot water that nothing but steam would emit the next time he turned a faucet on.

The sweatshirt shifted, a little hot water splashing along her sleeve so it doused it into a darker gray color. "Damn it..." She whispered, swallowing a little. She had to keep calm. She had to just... There was no doubt that part of her pregnancy was pushing her emotions on overload. Tears began to stream from her eyes, fists gripping hard enough that it was hurting her hand on the handle of the bath. She whipped it back, spreading her legs just slightly so her bottom could fully rest on the floor though her knees still remained in front of her. Pipes rattled, the bath water was beginning to steam again, keeping an ever constant line of volume within the porcelain tub. The door remained slightly open, white air - almost frost looking - emanating from the doorway. She seethed with anger, jaw quivering as she remained leaning over the bathtub. The aquamarine Mew tattoo shimmered with water hot droplets.

No apologies.. No regret... No guilt.. No pain... No physical attempt...

Patrick over to this estate to do the same thing as he did with the others. He was unaware that his ex-roommate was living at this estate. He places the two pieces of double tape then sticks the party flyer onto the door. "Next time I make party flyers I should use rubber band instead of tape. That I would leave them hanging on the doorknob" he thought as he took a step away from the doorstep. Taking one last look he heads off to the last estate in this district he needs to go to before he can go grocery shopping. [exit]
