Ari points to the passageway, trembling. "Th... there...." she stammers, then growing braver with familiarity she demands why to know why he's all dressed like that.
Mara just glares at him, in undisguised anger.

"Were you the one who gave us those clothes then?" demands Mara testily. Ari stomps on her foot, but the dark haired girl ignores her.
When Kero nods, she sighs. "Daddy will make you take it away you know. It is really far too much."
Ari nods. "A few outfits he won't mind, I'm sure... we really don't have much to wear, but he doesn't believe in having stuff just to be having it..." she adds to her sister's statement.

Understandable....merely select what you do not want, and pile them on your bed...I'll spirit them back here....now, go and ask yer mama what it is I do...and don't come in my Void again...its dangerous in here...

Mara nods and starts to go... suddenly she turns around and confronts him. "Kero, can... can the passageway remain... not to be used unless there is a need, but this way, if someone needs to get to you, they can? Ye can spell it, iffin ye want... but... I don't know why... I just feel it might be good to have a bolt hole, iffin ye know what I mean."

Mara sighs with a touch of relief, some sort of weight has fallen off her shoulders. "Daddy doesn't say anything, but sometimes he gets so worried and shoos us inside. I think he is afraid of someone or something... not sure what. But maybe this will help him feel better. Talk to him, please?"

Mara nods and turns to go, but Ari pulls away and runs to his side. Standing on tiptoe she kisses his cheek once more. "Thank you for everything, Kero... thank you..." then laughing she races Mara back to their room.

The girls have piled most of his largesse on their bed, keeping one nice dress apiece and several pairs of pants and tops to put with them. Everything else they had put aside, making Kero wonder if Bez had overseen their decisions. Then he sees a few things not on the bed that leads him to believe otherwise. Each girl has taken one or two nice dresses and made toys out of them, stuffed animals they have perched on shelves around the room. The toys are not of the best handiwork, but they are each as individual as the girls are themselves. Their seams may be crooked, but they were sewn with loving care.

Passura looks up from the book he is reading to the girls and smiles. "I'm over here, mes'sirrah. Welcome back." he hands the book to Mara who frowns and carefully marks the page with a leaf. Ari sighs and stretches then hops to her feet.
"Time for bed. Good night everyone, I'm going to go say goodnight to mama and daddy." With that she darts off to her parents' room, pausing only a little to knock before running inside.
Mara shakes her head and stands up as well. "You will finish it tomorrow, right, Pasa?"
The boy nods in agreement and watches her follow her sister. He looks up at Kero and grins. "How is everything back home?"

Peaceful....everything is perfectly fine...I managed to anchor our timestream, so now time will move equally for us, barring any sort of true insanity....
