He only wanted to get that man out of his sight....
Although he also didn't want to leave Shinji alone with that man... but well it was Shinji's mother there....

Zylver smiled to her and nodded, and taking of the apron and leaving it hanging behind the door, he went upstairs.
He entered his room and closed the door, leaning on it. he was... he could not describe what he was feeling exactly... but it was a mix of jealousy, envy and anger, and also sadness for feeling like that.
If Shinji liked that man, he could do nothing... it was his choice...

"phew...Finally got away..." Shinji said as he walked up the stairs. Why did Yori always have to do that when he came over? It's like he llives to mess with Shinji... 'Well he's just messing around. It's not like he likes me...Besides..I like someone else.' Shinji thought as he blushed lightly then smiled. He then went into his room and began wrapping the twns present.

The shower could not be heard, as Zylver was not there but in his room, sitting against the door.
He heard Shinji's footsteps. But he said nothing, he tried his best not to do any noise. He was not in the mood... he did not want to let his now messed up emotions to show up and maybe say something harsh and hiring to Shinji, who had no fault at all.

Shinji finished wrapping the gift and smiled as he got up. He then went up to Zylver's door and knocked on it as he waited. "Zy;ver? are you in there? I want to ask your opinion on something."

At first Zylver did not answer. But that was not ok.
He got up as silently as he could and did like if he was gathering the clothes to go to the shower.
"Come in, I'm here..."
He said, trying to keep his voice neutral and even.

Shinji opened the door and went up to him as he smiled. "Sorry to bother you..I just wanted to get your opinion on the wrapping paper." Shinji said as he held up a small box covered with purple and blue pokadotted wrapping paper that was tied with a red string. "What do you think? Think Hanna and Kanna will like it?"

Zylver turned and looked at him, smiling some.
"They'll like it for sure. They love bright colours that clash one against the other... But you know... the wrapping is not the important thing.... is what lies inside and the intention of the one giving the present what is most important."

Shinji looked at him then smiled as he nodded. "Right! Thank you Zylver! I'll be sure to remember that." He said happily as he held the present in his hand.

"oh.. I see..." Crap... that man was still there... and Shinji was so familiar with him... of course that was because Shinji liked him.
"Go play with your sisters, make sure in my behalf that they do not find my present.... I'll try to be the fastest I can in the shower."
Zylver looked behind to see if he had left to take anything and went to the shower.

As he took the shower Zylver tried to calm his feelings and kind of told himself that the man named Yori was not greater than he was. He knew that was stupid and childish, but he was going to demonstrate that....
He blushed and gasped as his own thought.
He... He was like this... because he felt something for Shinji.... something... something more than friendship....
Shinji could understand him when no other could, he helped him... he was able to bring him back to the world from the concealing spell...
He had shared much with Shinji... he had liked him from the start, only now that he knew Shinji liked someone, someone else... he realized to what extent he liked the boy.
