paladine seperates the two again and stares them both down.... igniska, do your parents have any idea as to where you are... he asks without taking his eyes off luceil.... (trust me... a god of good can pull off the parental stare quite well...)

some call me that... says paladine quietly... if you wish i could send ye to live with gilean... he would be more to your liking me thinks....

sit on him for a bit, would ye, mage... or at best distract him... i'm going to escort our little friend here to me brother's realm.... i shall return as quickly as i can... but i must warn ye... when he starts ranting in me ear about balance and such.... he goes on for hours.....

to the great library of palanthas... astinus, the head librarian is a follower of me brother, gilean... i am sorry that i cannot take thee there directly, as it is repository of many a great tome... gilean would have me head on a platter should i endanger any of his precious books by bringing a dragon... especially one whose element is fire within it's walls... fire and paper simply do not get along very well, my dear.... but i shall bring thee close and call him out... though i believe that the lure of your leaning may actually draw him out long before we get there... the path ye walk is a bold and dramatic undertaking... and truly historic as it rarely occurs... and trust me, child.... history calls out to him as no other does...

paladine takes her to a rather large stone filled clearing near a great stone building, someothing that is not quite a castle, simpler in design and yet far grander in size... until one begins to study it closely and realizes it is actually several buildings which have grown together over time dues to expansions and additions.... there they wait, but not for long....

a lean gray haired man in unadorned gray robes, stained along the edge of his sleeves rounds a tree and enters the clearing... he stands tall and walks with a purposeful stride, showing no sign of age or infirmary... in everyway he is so non-descript as to appear to be a modestly dressed servant... until one sees his eyes which bore right though you.... he walks straight up to paladine, not the least put off by the dragon's immense size, and stands there hands on hips, frowning.... you do realize i have done with this place... why did you bring her here out of all the locations in the multiverses you could have chosen....

paladine shrugs... i was close at hand... been raising a small wonder back in the valley and found another along the way... as you no doubt know...

the man snorts rudely and turns to the young red dragon... igniska, are you not? he demands brusquely... but there is a twinkle in his eyes that belies his gruff manner... destined to cause a great deal of trouble for a certain voidmage at some point down the line... and determined to become to first draconic librarian in me order.... though that is still to be determined... it is a good thing we are both long lived...

cease this inappropriate behavior at once roars paladine loud enough to send echoes off mountains five miles away.... he rears back and flares his wings... creating a spetacular image, spoiled only by the eye rolling of astinus who mutters to himself that a certain dragon prefers to grandstand whenever possible....

a clawed hand comes down, forming a cage about the dragonling... only this time it glows with charged energy... paladine then carefully helps kero to his feet with his free hand and nods to astinus to take igniska away... only once they are gone does he release the little dragon and proceeds to pick him up by his tail... dangling him in midair... upsetting his sense of balance... making it difficult for him to get a sense of direction....
