*Kero rears up, and hugs Tam*
But most of all, siray, I learned from you...thank you...

"I am so proud of ye, Taro... Tonight showed me that you are such a loving wonderful person. You handled Salunia perfectly. As an adult, I felt it was up to her parents to correct her, but you showed her from a different point of view that what we adults have told her is true... and you did so with compassion and a wisdom that belies your tender years." says Tam hugging him back. "Of course it's not going to stop her... she has to make the decision to watch her tongue herself... but it will help."

*Kero shrugs*
I simply imitated you, sira...nothing more...it's not my place to paddle her, though I was sorely tempted...

"What good would it have done? Coming from an adult, especially one who loves and cares for her, it might have some merit, though I doubt it. Coming from you it would have been nothing more than a show of strength. Far better you explain why you feel the act is wrong. A punishment should make sense in the light of the action which requires it. Otherwise it is useless." says Tam quietly. He sighs and hugs the cat close. "Now I have a question for you... why was it wrong for her to speak so?"

"Humor me... for the answer ye gave before was a bit terse. Nay... don't bother. I won't nag. I'm just glad ye did it. Thank ye, dulcha." says Tam shaking his head.

Tam sighs, his grasp of the language is rusty and Kero knows it. Shaking his head he gives the cat a gentle rap on the noggin and a good ear scratch.

It doesn't translate...but you're free to keep doing that for a thousand years or so....take longer, if you want....

**headsmack... ah, that one... lol... it was a good one, wasn't it?**
Tam rolls his eyes and goes into the kitchen, to put some water on to heat. "Silly... just fer that ye bathe last tonight and I get the clean tub." he is chuckling as he says it.

*Kero keeps sketching, adding a lounging angel to the tub...with long silken hair, and a night dark cat curled up nearby....and as Tam is looking, he also adds two specific regions to the chest*
