** I hope yer list of tales is identical to mine... iffin now...**
Tam begins to tell the story of a young man, who when he was born, came into the world with his caul which predicted he would marry the kings daughter. "The king was far from happy when he learned of this for the boy was very very poor, so he convinced the baby's mother to give him to him to raise...."
At the end of the tale, when the king becomes the next ferryman, Tam looks up at the two and asks, "So am I still awake..."

Tam passes it over and curls up on the bed with Salunia. "Move over, princess... " he says in a gentle tease, giving her a hug.

It is also quite soothing and although Tam has every intention of staying awake to read them the next story, he wasn't joking around when he said he was tired. By the end of Kero's tale he is sound asleep, curled up on his side.

At some point in the night a small grey cat wriggles it's way between them and snuggles it's way up under Tam's chin, purring soothingly and luring both into a deeper rest.

When Tam awakens the next morning he has to smile for the picture of the two cats sleeping is quite endearing in his eyes. He silently retrieves a bit of paper and some charcoal and lays out the scene for further work at another time. Right now he has another painting he is working on and since the cottage is silent and no one is yet up, he decides to t the opportunity to work on his portraits of the two sleeping lions first.

*Kero doesn't wake up for a while, but a groggy Hopian soon comes down, leading a bouncy Salunia outside to take care of something*

As soon as he hears movement about the house, Tam puts his work away and cleans up his brushes and paints. Then he goes to wake up Kero, reminding him it is time for him to go to the temple for his lessons. "I know you don't need to play for the dawn service anymore, but you might want to stop in and let Mica know you're not ill or anything"

*Kero is up and gone in a flash...not teleporting, just bowling Tam over as he realizes he needs to go for lessoning...and Puss is rudely dumped on the floor by Kero's antics*
