"It's by the sink.." says Tam shaking his head. Then he turns to Kero and gives him the look. "I hate to be someone who says I told ye so... but kiddo, this is one of the reasons ye should have been watching what ye say... Doesn't sound so good coming from one so young, does it?"

*Kero blushes even redder...his fur is dark red now, not black...and Hopian leads Salunia into the kitchen...then turns back to Tam, keeping a paw on his daughter*
I want you to know, Tam...I've been thinking, after our little incident...you've been right all these years, not me. I have been using corporal punishment too much. Thank you for opening my eyes. As it is, though...I think this at least constitutes a mouth washing...I just wish I had thought to bring my special soap...ah, well...*Pulls Salunia into the kitchen, while Kero gags in sympathy*

Tam goes back to his dinner, trying not to laugh. He winks at Fortuny and asks her if she'd like some bacon bits for her potato. This gets Kero's attention.
"Bacon bits... where? I don't see any bacon bits..."
Tam sighs and reaches into his airy closet pulls out a p[ouch of crumbled bacon. "If I keep it out, you eat it like candy..."

*Kero passes the bacon bits to Fortuny with a look at Tam...then sticks out his very, very long tongue...meanwhile, gagging is heard from the kitchen for about a minute, and then the swishing of water in someone's mouth...followed by a very fast spit*

*Salunia soon comes back in, moving over to her mother, who pulls her close, stroking her fur...and Kero leans over as well, whispering in her ear...and handing her his tea, spiked with mint...she darts outside to rinse and spit...and comes back in...instead of going to her mama, though, she goes to Tam, asking him if she can curl up in his lap*

Tam is suspicious of something but since he doesn't want to hurt her feelings he says yes. "Of course you can, Saluny. Shall I have your plate moved over here as well?"

Well, Tam, I think you have a new admirer...don't worry, if she's sitting on yer lap...she trusts you as she does her parents...she's not up to anything, just probably is mad at me right now.

"Well, princess... how about we go find us a bedtime story, hmmm... what kind of stories do ye like... pirates and fair damsels... the heroic knight rescuing the poor caged maiden... or do ye perhaps like fairy tales?"

Tam shakes his head but says nothing. If it doesn't bother Hopian, he's not going to let it bother him. Picking up the cub he carries her into Kero's room, showing her the shelf of legends and tales he and Kero have managed to collect. "Pick one out and when Kero is done with the dishes, I'll read to the both of ye... as those are some of his favorites as well."
