i have been enrolled in japanese for a year at the college, but since the university im moving up to doesnt offer japanese, i joined this guild to practice my japanese skills so i will not forget.
im a manga fan, but not overly crazy about it like some people are. however, i am crazy about jrock and visual kei. <== love my visual kei bands!

Hello, Ryuki K here.
I'm 15 and Half my family is actually from Okinawa, Japan. I'm here in hopes of learning some japanese, so I can communicate with my relatives over there.
I also like anime/manga and In my spare time I like drawing, making computer art, sports, music, etc. I don't like being treated like I'm ignorant, or being judged. I like to help people, but I'm more of an introvert. I'll always treat you like you are itellegent, unless you act like a moron toward me; meaning ignorant and belligerent, not ditsy or "dumb blond". I can handle scatterbrains, because I tend to be one due to my sucky people skills.
So Bottom line: I treat people how they deserve to be treated. You treat me well, I'll do the same.

Hello I just got here and I go by skugg on here usually... I've been studying Japanese in school with mostly fluent speakers for over a year now but I'm certainly nowhere near entirely fluent yet. I've come here to hopefully improve my skills and to get some help on some translations I've been doing... I volunteered to do translating for something "simple"... turns out it was a lot harder than I expected. ANyway I think this guild will give me a reason to get on gaia moreoften and hopefully I can get some help here too.

I'm Aisha. I'm currently trying to teach myself Japanese with hopes to convince my parents to take me to a professional Japanese class. I'm obviously interested in the Japanese culture, and I'm hoping that I get to go to Japan next summer as my graduation gift.

You can call me Tanuki. I've studied Japanese language for almost a decade. I'm not yet native level fluent but I would love to talk to everyone and develop some relationship.
I'm twenty-four and I graduated from the University of Kentucky. I'm interested in many anime and manga, my favorite being BLEACH and Naruto right now. I have many hobbies but I really like to draw.
