While she was examining different factors of Suzette's health, the nurse asked her a question.
"It says on the form that you have a legal guardian named Miss Lizabeth Wallis. Do you mind me asking about your parents?", the nurse was regretting she asked that question.
"Oh, no I don't mind. Well...it was during the was in Ishbal. Both of my parents were teachers and already signed up for setting up an education program for the children over there before the war. When it happened, they offered to help rescue some people there and help them become refugees. Yet, my dad...when he was transporting some Ishballens, the area was bombed", Suzette said quietly.
"Oh my! That's terrible!", said the nurse.
"They never found my mother, but I think she's still out there, maybe......", ((I think I'll add her later)) she said quietly. "But, my aunt adopted me after that and I'm very happy with her", Suzette's tone changed quickly.
The nurse nodded and smiled sadly.
After the nurse ran some tests, she came back with the results about 15 minutes later. She sat down and saw the papers.
"Oh......", the nurses eyes were heavy. She looked up at Suzette and there was something in her eyes that screamed that things were wrong.
"Your condition is a bit worse, but it's not as bad as we expected it to be. You are able to do the tests on Monday, but.....I'll tell the teacher to make it a little easier for you".
"But, I wouldn't get the proper training as an alchemist, and I'm not sure if I can apply for the military", Suzette said.
"Well, not everything is physical, there are many great alchemists who don't have to go out on the fields", she replied.
Suzette nodded and went out of the office.

Kara stopped and glared at Daisuke out of the corner of her eye.
"And what might that be?" she said.
Alexis had packed up her guitar, her fingers aching from doing the song over and over. She left the music room and entered the pavilion. She stopped at the fountain. The clear water reflected the cloudy early-morning sky, making the scene look melancholy. Alexis's eyes narrowed sadly as she stared at the water, knowing her mom was somewhere underneath there.
Hands in her jacket pockets, she let out a long, sigh.
I won't let you down, mom, she thought.

Kara giggled, her giggle turning into a woman-like laugh. She turned, revealing her true face. The one that had a slight resemblance to Alexis.
"Against you?" she said. "I have nothing against you." She walked past Alice, ignoring the girl as if she weren't there. "I have plenty against that girl standing by the fountain. She hand her idiot brother." She laughed, her voice and face switching to Kara's again. "Besides, I came here to...leave my mark," she continued. Her eyes scanned each and every alchemist in the room. "That girl you know as Alexis," she said. "Is a traitor and a liar. Sure, you won't believe me, but ask her about me, if you like." Her eyes rested on Alice. "She knows a lot about Alexis already."
Giggling, she turned and placed her hand on the door. The hand--and the shuriken--turned to a mound of dust after an alchemic reaction.
"Good luck," she said. She tossed two photos onto the floor before she left, the pictures of Alexis and her brother split in half.

Alice curses under her breath "idiot" she spat "you mess with one you mess with us all". [haha see whut i did there?!

Kara was disappointed to find Alexis had left the pavilion already. She cursed those humans, for making her so late. She stared at the fountain, thinking over what Alexis had told her. The alchemist was probably lying. She wouldn't put it past her.
Alexis was out in the practice fields again, using that knife to practice her close-combat. Kara was making her nervous.

"Hey those are expensive" Daisuke said when she turned it to dust. He mumbled about how his parents gave it to him & then took a walk on memory lane ((He gets off track easily it seems XD))
