Lance watched her leave and sighed before gaining a bit of speed and heading over the wave he was riding before paddling out and laying on his back on the board. He thought it might be better to letter calm down before he went back to talk to her.
The little girl was sitting down in the sand, looking down at the floor and sniffling. She felt lonely and sad, she wanted a friend, but no one else wanted to be her's. She glanced up and noticed Leora walking around seeming to look for something.

Leora was starting to get frustrated as she couldn't find her clothes. "Ugh! I know I put them somewhere on this beach! And it was somewhere the waves couldn't get them! I made sure of that! Where are they?!" she muttered irritably to herself, so far not noticing the little girl.

The little girl heard her muttering something and thought she was looking for maybe her clothes or her towel or something. Hesitantly, she walked over to her and pulled gently on her hand, her happy face completely replaced by a sad one as she asked, "Are you looking for something? Can I help?"

Leora looked down at the girl and only felt more horrible for running away from her earlier. But . . . the girl had blood . . . she could smell it . . . and it smelled good . . . not as tempting as the blood she had smelled earlier, but it definately smelled good. "Um . . . a-alright . . ." she said, unable to turn the sad little girl away. She couldn't hurt her again like that. Leora would only feel even more a monster if she did that . . . "I'm looking for my clothes and my towel . . ." she said and then began describing how her clothes and towel looked like . . . what colors they were . . . stuff like that.

The little girl's face lit up a bit when she said she could, rather than before when she had run away from her. When she started describing the clothes and towel to her, she nodded then thought for a moment. "I think I saw you're clothes over . . . this way." She said, taking Leora's hand and pulling her along in the direction she believed she had last seen similar clothes.

Leora smiled hesitantly at the girl and followed her, trying her best to maintain control of herself. It definately helped that she had a glass of blood earlier that day. "Th-thanks . . ." she said, hoping that she had both definately found her clothes, and that she would be able to remain in control of herself . . .

With one hand, she moved her long hair that was covering her face behind her ears, exposing her bare neck. Then, she looked up at her with a smile. "By the way, my name's Erin." She said.

Leora gulped as her neck was exposed. "Leora." she said, giving her name in return. "Nice to meet you." she said as she tried to occupy her mind with something else besides Erin's exposed neck.

"Nice to meet you too." Erin said, chirpily as she looked forward and noticed clothes that seemed to resemble Leora's description. "I think I see your clothes over there." She tugged on Leora's hand as she pulled walked over to them with her.

Leora's eyes lit up seeing her clothes. "That's them!" she said happily and then pulled her hand out of Erin's to ruffle her hair affectionately. "Thanks Erin." she said and then walked quicky to her clothes and picked up her towel first, using it to dry off herself and her hair before slipping on her clothes over her bathingsuit. "Much better." she said and then smiled thankfully at Erin.

Erin smiled proudly for finding her clothes. But when she slipped them on, she looked confused. "You . . . don't . . . belong here . . . leech? What does that mean?" Erin asked after she read the words on her shirt. The words that were written in, and had the strong scent of, human blood, though Erin didn't know that.

Leora blinked and then looked down at her shirt before quickly taking it off and throwing it down into the sand. "I'm not a leech . . ." she muttered, hugging herself and then looked to Erin. "It doesn't mean anything. Apparantly someone just decided to play a rather cruel prank on me just because I let my clothes out of my sight for a little while." she said, giving her a reassuring smile. However with the scent of human blood hanging heavily in the air, it was getting harder for Leora to keep in control of herself.

"Wait, what do you mean? Even if it was a prank, if they were calling you a name, wouldn't it have to make sense? Why did whoever did this call you a leech?" She asked, confused. Whenever she was confused, like now, she always tilted her head to the side with the same confused expression, but as she was doing so now, she was exposing her neck completely to Leora.

Leora couldn't stop it, her eyes got red and her fangs stuck out as she pounced at the girl, pinning her arms to her side and was about to bite down when a bit of herself came back to her and she pushed Erin away, going over to her shirt and licking at the human blood there to satiate her thirst. She felt absolutely horrible for what she had just done and she felt like just breaking down and crying. "I'm . . . I'm sorry . . ." she said, not turning to face Erin and even as something told her to run . . . she stayed, feeling like she had to attone for her actions somehow. "I'm so . . . so sorry . . . please don't tell anyone . . ."

Erin screamed when she pounced on her and thought she was going to die before Leora ran to her shirt and started licking the blood, which Erin was horrified to discover it was blood, but she was more horrified, and scared of Leora herself, the red eyes, the fangs, "Y-y-you're a v-v-vampire?" She stuttered, now laying on her back and staring at her with wide, fearful eyes, as if expecting her to jump at her again.
