Tam laughs outloud, confusing Salunia a tiny bit, but then she thinks he is approving of her selection so she's fine. "I'll just sing her a lullaby... when Uncle Tammy sings, even the angels go to sleep... sigh... how dull he must be."

Tam rolls his eyes and sets Salunia down on the bench so she can put her syrup down. "Is Kero up yet?" he asks out loud.

Tam frowns. "Well, I'm starved. I'll go ahead and sear the steaks fer us and fix his when he wakes up. Saluny, luv, go get yer mother." says Tam tossing three large and one medium steak on the indoor grill.

Tam adds the fourth large steak to the grill and portions out everything else at the table. "Dig in folks. Butter... ack... Kero fetch the butter from the spring house will ye... I forgot to get it out..."

Tam samiles at him and shrugs. "Okay, I guess. Tired though, so after dinner... I think I'm going to let you and Hope clean up while I read Little Miss I can't seem to put enough butter on this potato a bed time story, if you don't mind/"

*Hopian leans over and softly tells her to please leave some butter for everyone else...which causes Salunia to growl at him. He simply pulls back his head, and gives her a Look Tam recognizes*

*A discussion in growls and chirps leads to Hopian simply leading Salunia back to the corner, plunking her rump on the floor and setting her nose to the wall...Kero cringes as he remembers a certain punishment like that*
Well, sira...I can't say it's undeserved...she cursed at him, then didn't take back the curse. Told him to, um, "F" off when he asked her to leave some butter for everyone else.
