Tam struggles to keep his hands out of their reach and finally solves the problem by tucking them up under his armpits. Of course that kind of leaves him defenseless and they are quick to see his predicament.
"Cease! Cease! I yield!" gasps Tam between fits of giggles.

**I'm pulling mine out of the oven any minute now... baked chicken, stuffing, and squash stuffed with cranberries....**
Tam chuckles weakly and shakes his head. "Not a bad pain reliever, only it is a bit hard to take iffin I wanted to sleep..."

Tam waves it off. "I am fine, Kero... it is more of a discomfort than true pain... which is why I am asking... this piece that fell off, was it truly of any real purpose? If I remember correctly, was not the break higher up on the wing>"

Tam looks at Shar to see what she thinks.
The physician frown and begins to run her hand along the remaining bulk of the splint, seeking out the break. "I don't know, Talesian. You are correct in assuming the break is higher up, but that segment of the wing was keeping the entire end of your wing immobile. Still, There doesn't seem to be any shift in the break. Can any of you people read tissue structures. I know Kero was learning how before he warped, but he hadn't quite got it down correctly."

Tam sighs and looks at Hopian. "Damn... I wish he'd quit doing that. Better put him to bed. He's liable to wake up with a dandy of a headache. Sorry, Shar, I guess it does have to be replaced after all. Maybe the whole dang thing as it seems to be... well extremely fragile, right now. How did you fix it the last time?"

She didn't...Kero did....he...he awoke....probably to your pain....and wielded his power...though that wasn't him we just saw, that was the normal Kero...his first real use of his Sight.
