Tam begins to glow, drying his clothing as well as Kero's fur. "Took me the better part of an hour to peel ye from the ceiling, s'truth." He looks down at his glowing hands and shakes his head. "Wish I cold turn up the heat without turning on the light... but, I've never quite figured out how. So are we ready to head back. Where's yer gear?"

Tam is already fading. "Last one home has to do the dishes.." comes a disembodied voice from where Tam once stood.

*Kero closes his eyes, concentrates hard on his destination, and pops into the cold nothingness....a second later, he's home...and on top of Tam's head*

As Tam is reaching up to get something from a cabinet, this throws him off balance. Arms flailing widely he back pedals until he crashes into the kitchen table. "What comes out of his mouth next isn't pretty, but not even Kero can scold him for the repaired splint has once again cracked in two.
"That does it... I'm cursed to a walking existence." grumbles Tam moving ever so carefully and picking up the segment of the splint that has fallen to the floor.

*Hopian is there...and Salunia is grumbling, her nose to the wall, a hint of jam around her muzzle...and Kero immediately teleports out, returning on foot with Shar*

Tam glares at the physician. "This is becoming tedious." he grumbles through clenched teeth. He holds up the damaged part of the splint and asks if it was an important segment of the hardened dressing.

I don't know anything about it, which is probably why Kero brought Sharmistra...and I have to say, you looked very much like yer ma's old crewmate there, Tammy...with a kitty on yer head....

Rolling his eyes, he finds a chair to sit on, being extra careful not to compromise his wings any further than they already have. "Which mate would that have been? I kind of knew them all... enough to know it was probably Zel on the head and not an adolescent, practically full grown lion. If anything Kero'd be the one on the bottom at the receiving end of a dive attack."

Tam looks down to see a smoke grey cat batting at his boot. With a grin he lifts him up and cuddles him. "It's Puss." he laughs and scratches the cat's chin which sets him to purring so loudly, the room is filled with the sound. He looks up at Hopian. "Don't ye remember? He's the one who helped me through that first night with Kero... kept me company all night long he did... I brought him with me when I went to see Shar about seeing people and you were there."

Tam smiles at the tiny cat and begins to rub it's belly. "He wanted to come with me, so I thought... why not... " His smiles fades a little, until the cat bats at his hand, distracting him from his discomfort. "Alright... alright... ears done, tummy rubbed... what else needs scratching, hmmm?"
