Flustered Knight Anon Well, I've heard from his people that the Black King is a man who enjoys battle. Perhaps when he watched my battle with his soldiers, it sparked a desire to battle me himself. Regardless, it isn't my decision. He smiled softly, trying to appear reassuring. If it is within my ability, I will be sure to alert you of the outcome as soon as I'm able. I... make no promises, but I'll do my very best. Keeping myself alive comes first in my goals. Ah, but if I'm injured, would I be able to count on you once more?

J-just sit down, I'll get the first aid kit! *skitters off and returns quickly with the kit* A-are you in pain?

Ah, no, I'm... well... yes, I'm in a bit of pain, but nothing worse than what I've experienced in the past. He took seat regardless of what he said, because it was a little taxing to stay standing. I have some good news, however.

Talbot took a seat to make it easier on the both of them, then he took a moment to collect himself before explaining.
"Unfortunately, I was not able to defeat the king. I was aware it was unlikely. However, he told me that he would sign the treaty regardless. He must have seen something in me when we fought. If the white kingdom agrees to this, we may finally see the end to this war."
