Iyla's eyes lit up almost immediatly at the mention of the simple but delicious breakfast, her body automatically following his into the kitchen. "That'd be quite pleasing," she said without too much excitement, walking around the kitchen lightly, as if on the tips of her toes. It was quite possible she was walking as such, actually. The kitchen simply felt so clean, open, and wonderful. Her master also seemed to have a liking for wood.
The long-haired woman, having let her mane down once more, continued to examine the room with a slightly childlike curiousity. It was, truly, a beautiful place. After a few minutes of crouched searching, she popped up once again, her hair in a slight mess. "Yes... whenever you're ready!" She spoke as if her slightly strange behaviour was nothing new.

Jei smiled. It may have been a faint smile, but it was there. It was a little of a new thing for Jei to be smiling, for before he really did not have much to smile about, and now.... he had Iyla. He turned on his heel and took a frying pan from a rack, other pots and pans hanging from it as well. Spinning back around he placed the pan on the burner, which he then proceeded to turn on. He ventured over to the fridge, and pulled out the bacon and the eggs, bringing it over to the island. Setting them down, he turned once more, and reached for the butter. Grabbing it, he turned once more, before taking out a knife from a drawer under the island, and put some butter into the pan. "All that spinning made me a little disoriented." Jei commented, shaking his head.
By this time, the butter was melted, and Jei took opened the bacon, putting it on strip by strip. As each strip went on, it sizzled, as if in protest. Jei looked up to Iyla. "So, how do you like bacon? Extra crispy? Burnt?" he said, pausing. "Also, how do you like your eggs?"

Vanity squinted her eyes as she slightly opened them to see the light of day glare at her. She tousled her hair and sat up to fall down again whiling pulling her covers over her head and letting out a tired groan, she was not a morning person. Screw happy go-lucky, i want sleep.
After endlessly moving around in her tangled sheets she finally gave way to gravity and fell on her back in a mess of white blankets, "Argh."

Sythe had just woken up. It took him a moment to actually move. He basically lay there, staring at the ceiling a while, before sitting up and rubbing his eyes. After that he stretched and yawned. "Good morning, Sythe." he lightly commented, as he threw the sheets off of him. He swung his feet over the bedside, and stood, still a little groggy. He walked slowly over to his ensuite bathroom, partially dragging his feet the entire way.
After fixing his hair, having a quick shower to wake him up, and brushing his teeth, he exited his bathroom. He dressed himself in a white dress shirt, and blue jeans, a relaxed look. After dressing, he headed out to Vanity's room. Lightly knocking on the door, he waited to see if she would answer. If not then he would let her sleep for a while longer.

Vanity heard a knock at the her door and figured it was Sythe. She mumbled a small, "It's open", from her position on the comfortable floor tangled her white bed sheets.
She's been down there for awhile staring up at the amazingly white ceiling after she found she could no longer go back to sleep, but was too lazy to actually get up and meet the day. Vanity found that she wasn't as optimistic as she would be everyday. Maybe it was because she would be finally be facing the reality of her sickness today. Whatever it was she continued to snuggle close to her pillow and wait for whoever it was to come in.

Iyla returned to watch him cook, then blinked a few times. "My eggs? ...oh, anything, I love them. And bacon is best burnt, in my opinion." She smiled at this. Her previous master had never tolerated her rather odd love of charred food, but hopefully this one would. Besides, Jei could always take his bacon strips off early if it bothered him. He seemed like the type who could understand things, even if they were as trivial as bacon preferences. She smiled slightly at this thought. A kind master. A new master. What an adventure this would be.
She suddenly got up from her sentry-like watching post to walk around the kitchen once more. Now that her blood was pumping, it was going to be nearly impossible to keep her stilled. As she did so, color arrived to her cheeks, and she ran her hands through her hair, combing a few tangle out of it. After this she washed her hands and paced some more. All the while, a grin was plastered to her lips, her eyes bright.

"Alright, I guess I'll do em over-hard, and the bacon for you will be burnt. However, the bacon for myself will be ultra crispy, almost to the point of being burnt." Jei said, smiling slightly to Iyla, before returning his attention back to the bacon in the pan. He reached over to one of the knobs on the oven, turning the oven temperature to warm, so that when the bacon was done, he could put it in there to keep warm until he was done with the eggs.
Jei watched Iyla wander the kitchen once more, glancing down to the pan every now and then. "You seem quite excited." he commented, as he flipped the bacon. After flipping the bacon, he went into a cupboard behind him and pulled out three plates, one for himself and for Iyla, and one for placing the bacon on while it was in the oven. He placed a sheet of paper towel on the one destined to hold the bacon in order to soak up most of the grease that the bacon would have.

Iyla couldn't help a smile. "It's hard not to be excited," she said airily, leaning against the counter as she watched him once more. "It's been a terribly exciting day so far, after all. I was rescued by a man who isn't cruel or heartless, live in a house with so much more than I expected, and love the situation I'm in right now." She smiled once more, beginning to calm down a little. The smell of the bacon was beginning to waft strongly around her now, and she took a deep breath, enjoying the smell entirely. It wasn't as if she had had the chance to in awhile.
Iyla took her plate gently, setting it in front of her. She had meant what she said, and had said what she meant. There wasn't really anything else she wished to say anytime soon. Closing her lips, she hoped her words hadn't been initimdating or anything bad of the sort. Conversation with someone like him... well, she hadn't taken part in that since... well, never.

Deoradhan Not only was he worried for Gunther, but he was curious to see what his brother was like. Doran scooted closer and put his hand on Gunther's shoulder. "You know, I could go for you. I'll just need the appropriate clothes and some equipment to get in. I could fabricate some story and lead him to you, and if that doesn't work, there's plenty of other ways to infiltrate a mansion or whatever." "No need. I'm just being silly. Maybe I didn't get enough of a good night's sleep or something. Either way, I've never gotten to see him, and I never will. I'm just used to it." Gunther looked away, trying to keep his composure about things. He'd already cried to Doran about Tii'gra - he didn't need to cry about his father and brother, now, even if he hadn't ever seen his brother face-to-face. He didn't want to be a burden on Doran any more than he had to.

Doran pouted a little and pulled away from Gunther. "I find it hard to believe that you think that, but fine, be that way," he grumbled, his tail swishing behind him in annoyance. The kid would likely go off and find his brother anyways, if allowed. "Where does your father live?" He asked, now standing and stretching.

The kid would likely go off and find his brother anyways, if allowed. "Where does your father live?" He asked, now standing and stretching. Gunther immediately sensed Doran's discomfort and tensed. He had to do something, and fast; he couldn't let the levels drop anymore if he wanted to stay his friend. So Gunther took the 'lonely-and-regretful' personality. "Doran... Doran, I really didn't mean to annoy you... I'm sorry... all I do is ******** things up, it seems like..." And that might have been true to him, since all the young lord really could think of at the moment were dark shadows of the things he'd blamed on himself.

Doran squared off with Gunther and crossed his arms over his chest, eyeing the lord with disbelief. "Oh come on, don't give me that crap. You can't seriously expect me to believe that, what with how you treated me earlier. I've got nothing else to do, hell, I don't even know where I am, so tell me where your father lives! It isn't like I can run away." The foxboy grumbled, quite POed right now.

It takes a full two days to get to the b*****d's castle. Unless you can teleport, but if I remember correctly, you hate that." Gunther shook his head, and then stared out a window. "I don't even know why I want to see my brother so badly. I don't even know the first thing about him."

Doran rolled his eyes and walked over to Gunther, cuffing him lightly on the head. "Hey! I'm over here! Okay, first off, I'd like to point out for one reason or another, you don't want me leaving. Now I can't help but be curious about that. Secondly, you don't even know your brother, so maybe, even subconciously, you want to know him..? Come on, you're not that dense."
The foxboy growled softly, his tail flicking in agitation. "I swear, humans are so difficult!"

Upon hearing that it was open, Sythe opened the door and peered in. "Good morning, Vanity." he said, before actually catching a glimpse of her. "Or maybe not good morning. Why, may I ask, were you lying on the floor?" Sythe inquired, looking at Vanity, who was clutching her pillow and lay amongst tangled bedsheets.
Shaking his head, he smiled to her. "Well, I hope you slept well, for having slept on the floor." Sythe commented. "Come downstairs to the dining room when you're ready. I'll be preparing breakfast. Simple pancakes sound good?" he asked, hoping that they were. He didn't feel up to making anything more complicated.
Jei chuckled. "It's been exciting for me as well. I have freed someone from slavery, invited her into my home, which she agreed to, and I couldn't be happier." Jei said, looking to Iyla and smiling, before returning his attention back to the bacon. He took his strips off, leaving Iyla's on for a little longer. After they were 'properly' burnt, he took the rest of the strips off, placing them on the plate also, which he then proceeded to place in the oven. After, he cleaned the pan, placed it on the burner again, and put a slab of butter onto it. Taking four eggs, he cracked them open one by one, spreading them out in the pan.
"Just a few more minutes and we'll be ready to eat." Jei stated, looking to Iyla. "What would you like to do after we have had our breakfast?" Jei asked.
