 Gage chuckled as Stella seemed to suddenly relax. He cuddled her closer underneath one arm,and sighed softly. He could enjoy this forever.... Her right there, with him, for the rest of his and her lives.....

Stella closed her eyes for a moment. The memories of their first Ferris wheel ride flashed across her eyelids and brought a soft smile to her lips. So much had happened since then and it was almost crazy how fast it had happened. Thinking about it.. I can't believe its believe it's starting to creep up on three years... Opening her eyes again she looked at Gage, staring into his eyes and getting lost in them for the moment. She had known a year and a half ago that she was ready to spend the rest of her life with him. But it wasn't until he had gotten back that she realized that she couldn't imagine life without him. As long as there were no more surprise trips over seas or anymore crazy car accidents... Looking out across the fair grounds she noticed the Ferris wheel getting closer to the top and her heart skipped a beat. Heights were still something that bothered her quite a bit. Grabbing Gage's hand she gave it a tight squeeze, biting her lip nervously. "It's not gonna get stuck again.. Right..?"

Gage squeezed Stella's hand lightly in return and pulled her in close, wrapping one arm around her shoulders. The wheel continued on it's path, not sticking this time as it had the first, he met her eyes and smiled softly. "See, no reason to panic this time around."

Stella sighed in relief as the Ferris wheel continued it's path down. Pressing her lips softly to Gage's cheek she stood up and grabbed Stell-Bear before stepping out, holding onto Gage's hand. Looking up at the stars she got an idea and turned to Gage with a smile. "Lets go to the beach."

Gage chuckled and laced his fingers with hers, nodding as he led her out of the park and waited for her to get into the car. Once she was seated, he got in himself and started up the car. Pulling out of the lot, he glanced over at her while he drove, still so happy that he was home...

Stella squeezed his hand gently and got in the car, leaning back a bit in the seat and turning her head to look at Gage. It was sort of late so there wouldn't be many people on the beach and she had a feeling it wouldn't be to hard to find a spot where they were all alone. When they got there she got out of the car and took his hand, finding a nice flat sandy spot by the water and turned to him with a smirk. The moon shone brightly on the water and you could see the faint reflection of the flecks of stars in the sky. "I know this sounds crazy.. But we should go in the water.." She smiled and nuzzled his neck a bit.

Gage looked over at Stella and then out to the water. He grinned at her and looked down. "Well, you'd better decide if you're undressing some or if you're going in like that, either way, let's go..." ((OOC: HI CUUKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.> I has interwebz again.... <.<))

Stella stripped down to her bra and thong, folding her clothes and laying them on a rock. Waiting for Gage to strip down or not, afterwards she took his hand and walked out to the water. Touching her toes to the water she was surprised to find that it wasn't to cold but enough to send a shiver up her spine. Letting go of his head she ran out farther and dove under the water, coming up a few seconds later, running her hands through her hair. "It's cold!"

Gage vanished under the water and reappeared a moment before Stella, he looked over and smiled. "It's the middle of the night love, of course it's cold.." he stepped up close to her, pulling her to him and wrapping his arms around her, he hugged her tight and buried his nose against her neck. "I love you.... And I'll always be here to keep you warm...."

Stella smiled and snuggled against Gage's body. After a moment or two of silence she looked at him and a slight blush colored her cheeks. "Let's set a date for the wedding." Shortly after she finished her sentence she pressed her lips to his, keeping him quiet so there wouldn't be anything but silence for a few moments. A loud yell tore across the night and Stella turned her head to the side. There was a big group of people, and they mainly appeared to be men. With a squeak she ducked under the water, hoping that they wouldn't notice her and Gage. Swimming deeper into the ocean she came up to catch a quick breath, noticing that it looked like the men were about to go through their clothes and belongings. Diving back under the water she was starting to swim back to shore when something tangled around her ankle. Her heart immediately leaped with panic and she opened her eyes to see if she could see what was holding her hostage in the dark drink. Instantly she was overwhelmed by the pure blackness of the water and the stinging of the salt, causing her to waste energy on rubbing her eyes a bit. Reaching around blindly she felt for what was holding her there and was met by a sharp p***k on her palm. Blood. She didn't think she was far out enough to be caught in any sort of wire or anything but this appeared to be some sort of barbed wire. The pain then started to register in her body and an inkling of fear crept up through her stomach. I better not be far enough out for sharks.. Her mind raced with a million thoughts and she tried to think of a way to get it off her ankle without making herself bleed more. Tugging gently for a few moments she reached down and began to pull on it more frantically. Within a few seconds her breath has escaped her and she began to panic. Hopefully Gage would be more concerned about where she was than what was going on with there things... Hopefully.

  Gage noted the men about to go through their things and heard Stella's squeak before she vanished under the water... Smart girl.... He debated getting out of the water to deal with the men, but realized quickly, hello, talk about outnumbered. He turned silently, staying low in the water and looked for Stella... not seeing her, he panicked, and slipped beneath the waters surface. He could barely see that bright blonde hair in front of him and moved towards her, tapping her shoulder lightly, he wrapped one arm around her and found that she was stuck.... Finding the item around her ankle, was that wire? He frowned under the water but tried to keep calm as one hand stroked her arm while the other worked at the wire around her ankle...
Soon enough, he freed Stella, and pulled her to the surface with him. Their stuff was probably well gone through by now... but she was hurt, which was far more important than whatever the guys could have taken... He'd left his ID and cards in the car, just leaving cash in his wallet on shore....

Stella was never good at holding her breath, her vision of the back of her eyelids was dotting with swimming black lights. Feeling a hand stroke her arm she calmed down a bit but slowly started to black out. She could feel Gage attempting to get the wire off her ankle. Her leg coursed with pain, and although she was underwater and couldn't feel it blood was oozing from the contact points on the barbs. After she had slipped in and out of consciousness many many times she felt cold air hit her face, snapping her back to reality.
"G-Gage?" Shivers ran down her body and her lips had turned a faint color of purple. She wasn't under long enough to even start to get hypothermia but she felt like she was freezing. Her ankle and leg were racked with pain and she could finally feel the blood dripping down the sides. "Did they take our stuff.." Of all the things in the world to be thinking of she thought of that. Not that she was sorry that she had swum away and gotten herself in this mess. Not thank you for saving me.. But there stuff. The thanking and apologizing would come later. But her mind was to boggled to think clearly.

Gage shook his head and swept Stella up in his arms, ignoring her words "Love, I'm less worried about replacing your iPhone, and more worried about the cuts on your leg... We're going to a hospital... The clothes are there, and you left your bag in the car, so no big... We'll be fine, there's other stuff..." he grabbed their clothes one handed on his way past and kept carrying her until they were at the car. Setting her in her seat, he left the door open and grabbed a pair of clean shorts and one of his wife beaters from the car, giving them to her. "This'll be easier to pull on than your stuff love...." he put on his own clothes and slipped into the drivers seat, looking over at her. "Now just sit back while we get you to the hospital and get you taken care of..."

Stella frowned and reluctantly pulled on the clothes he gave her. Shivering like crazy to the point where her teeth started to chatter. With her body focusing on fixing her leg and the fact that she almost drowned it didn't have time to keep her warm. 'I'll be fine.. Just give me a bandaid. Please don't make me go to the hospital." A shiver of fear ran down her spine and tears welled in her eyes. She was terrified of the hospital and doctors. Which was partly why she always tried to avoid breaking a bone or anything that would send her there. "Please..." Her voice was soft and quiet, obviously filled with something more than just not wanting to be fussed over.

Gage sighed and shifted the car into a higher gear as he changed paths and took them home. Once there, he moved quickly, scooping her back up and carrying her upstairs... Once they were inside, he piled her under blankets on the couch, only her hurt leg uncovered. He returned from the bathroom a few minutes later and sat down by her feet, pulling supplies out of an army bag, he carefully cleaned and bandaged her ankle up, wrapping it up and looking up at her. "No doctors... But you need to warm up, so I'm gonna get some tea to warm you up, and you stay your happy little stubborn self under those blankets... You move a finger and I'll whop you the moment you feel better... Got that love?" his eyes were fierce with worry and frustration with her as he met her eyes
