Right. Just remember not to kill her. Something like 13ish damage should do the trick. You may want to ask Rain for advice.

Either winner of that duel is not a good option for me.

Raganui will probably win, he keeps 3 to hit. That's beastly. My one eye disadvantage will put me behind.

Your school advantage lets you ignore armor. That will compensate for your missing eye. You also get a bonus to your own attack roll as well?

Plainsfox Your school advantage lets you ignore armor. That will compensate for your missing eye. You also get a bonus to your own attack roll as well? I can either ignore armor or get a free raise to attack, and if someone raises against me I also get a free raise. That's about it. I prefer ignoring armor, the -5 TN, like you said, evens out my disadvantange, and I still find it better than a free raise. I'd only take a free raise to get over 10kx so I can keep another die.

Against unarmored opponents, a Free raise can be +5 to hit. Against Light Armored opponents, a Free Raise = Ignore Armor Against Heavy Armored opponents, ignoring armor is twice (or more) as good as a free raise.
Sometimes you might want to use that free raise for something cool, like damage or as fuel for an Extra Attack or something. In fact, your School Ability free raise + 2 raises (void 2) + bishamon's blessing = +10 for two attacks at Rank 1. Sooner than anyone else would get it, without getting Void 3 to be able to do it with 3 raises (+15) instead.

Sometimes you might want to use that free raise for something cool, like damage or as fuel for an Extra Attack or something. Against unarmored opponents, I see no reason to ignore armor, since they have none. I'd go for the raise if that was to be the case. But if they're armored, the armor will be ignored. A -TN is better than a roll I might or might not keep.
