[Fester shifted nervously, in fear that if she figured out his secret she would use it against him. He turned and looked at her in the eyes. One bright golden, the other a dead silver. his feathers were ruffled and torn, as if he had survived a horrible trauma. Infact the entire bird looked like a beaten up rag.] "None of your business cat. You shouldnt stick your nose where it's not welcomed. Curiosity did kill the cat afterall." [He said, calmly but sternly, obviously feeling abit nervous in her presence now.] I knew i should have become an assassin instead. I hate constantly having to watch my back! But then again... its too late for me. I was never much of a fighter anyway.

How do you guys plan for Spadestripe to return? I was thinking Caw could follow them here to rescue her or something. But then while she was being attacked by them, hit a rock and lose her memory and have Spadestripe lead her back in the direction of the Clans...and that way their hideout would remain secret. : o

Personally, I'm in favor of the idea. She could have a screwed-up birth issue just like her mother. :"D And since you weren't here when that happened oh-so long ago Trixie, Doveflight had her kits a moon before expected to while strolling in the forest. Ah, memories.}}

((of course Comet. Its only natural that you should know too. sweatdrop you are not prying at all, dont worry. sounds like an epic idea!!! surprised ))
[Fester noticed an odd feat in Spadestripe's eyes.] Did she figure it out? No, she seems to be remorseing over something. It would seem my theory is right. Cats, just like us, feel pain within their memories... "Cat, what is wrong? Dose my eye frighten you? it dose most of the fledgelings, that is why i am alone most often. I am sorry. Tell me cat. Do you feel? What are you feeling now? I must know." [He watched her with great curiosity.] If my theory is correct, is it possible that we could be destroying lives as they destroy ours?

[Spadestripe blinked, looking over at the bird and glancing away, unable to look at his silver eye.]
I shouldn't tell him......what does it matter, anyways? Cometstream's dead, nothing about that is going to change.
[Spadestripe sat up a bit.]
"Your eye doesn't frighten me..."
[Spadestripe shifted so she was more comfortable.]
"When i was younger...something...really bad happened...my sister was trying to kill me...but the cat I mentioned, Cometstream...she was killed by saving me."
[Spadestripe's expression twitsted in emotional pain.]
"S-She had warned me for moons about my sister, but I didn't believe her..."
[Spadestripe downed her head, shutting her eyes tightly.[
"I-If I had just been not so foolish, sh-she'd still be alive! And D-Dicefoot would be gone! Starclan knows she's just going to go b-back to trying to kill me!"
[Spadestripe ground her claws into the ground, shaking a bit. She blinked, lifting her head as she felt a calm state of mind oozing through her, one she hadn't experienced in seasons.]
It was stupid to tell him...but it felt nice to tell it to someone...who doesn't know anything about me or Dicefoot or Doveflight...Someone who didn't know this at all...It kind of makes me glad I told it anyways...
{{Side note: I based her studdering on human emotions. I happen to studder a lot when I'm saying something emotionally breakthrough-like, so hence, Spadestripe studdered. RIP cometstream. <3}}

[The doctor watched her with sympathy. Spadestripe's pained expression only proved his theory about cat's being able to feel emotions, but no doubt none of the other eagles would listen the the crazy witch doctor's ramblings about cats having feelings too.] "... I see. I am sorry for your loss. You cats can experience trauma as kittens afterall. For a while now through my studies of you cats i have collected hints of similar emotions to us. The other eagles think im crazy though. but i believe you have the answer, just in the way you speak and express yourself. sometimes it makes me wonder..." [the doctor stopped, his eyes fading.] if we are causing damage that cannot be reversed. I couldnt possibly bring this theory up to Talon, he already has my life on a thread as it is. "thank you for sharing your experiences with me." [he said calmly as he turned to check on Blade. The bleeding had stopped to a minimal drip and his breathing was stabilizing.] It looks like he will survive after all.

[Fester said nothing for a while, not wanting to connect emotionally with the enemy. He was sure to be banished by Talon if he ever say him socializing with food. But he felt like he would be cheating her if he did not return valuable information as well.] "No. I have no siblings. But I did have a mother of course. She carefully would sing to my egg every morning. Her voice was beautiful and innocent. She would sing of a tail of a fledgling who would wander off into the forest, get lost, and her parents would find her and embrace her in their wings, safe and sound from the angry cats who stalked in the clans." [He said, keeping his eye contact away from hers as he spoke, but still keeping his blind spot away from where she could hide.] "She is not around anymore. She was killed in the battle against Avalon when the eagles split into two." [Fester grew silent.]

"interesting. I assume that not all cat's grow up as you have. Or do they? you seem to have had a very unusual upbringing then the average cat." [Fester turned to look at the she cat with both his eyes, his silver eye seeming to inspect her the most.Sirin returned to the cave with eh ingredients Fester listed earlier.] "Fester, i got everything you wanted." [Fester turned his attention to the she eagle and grinned.] "Ah! excellent Sirin! You are so much help to me! Thank you." [Sirin smiled meekly at him as he excepted the pile.] "Oh, um, no problem Fester. If you need any help just tell me." [She said, smiling sweetly. As fester retreated with the ingredients deeper into the cave to make his potions Sirin's sweet smile faded as she glared at Spadestripe.] "What were you two talking about when i was gone? You arnt trying to trick Fester are you? Im watching you cat! I know all about your sly trickery!" [She hissed as her feathers rose.]
