"Don't go crazy on me or I'll never give you caffeine again." Tohru looked outside of the window, noting the thin streak of light appearing. He finished off his drink, which he hadn't really given himself much of. "I still have yet to meet this "Yuri" person."

Shin nodded "Nope wont go crazy on you. Heh yuri, youd like her alot, shes realy nice. Also shes perfect for lex, luv birds, realy cute when there togeather, shes about the only person I know who alex listens too. Well you too but youve got the older brother authority"

"Really? That's good to hear," Tohru smiled, setting his cup down on the bedside table as he moved to Alex's side, checking on his fever. "I may be the older brother, but that doesn't mean Alex listens to me all the time."

"No but you can force him to listen, thats more than I could ever do. Sometimes, I think half the stuff we say to the guy just goes in one ear and out the other you know? Guess thats just lex though" he said watching the sleeping boy.

Tohru couldn't help but laugh. "Well, it's not any different on my end, though I can force him," he admitted. Suddenly, he gave Alex a sharp poke, smiling. "You're awake, aren't you?"
"You try sleeping when two idiots are chatting away. I guarantee you, you won't be asleep long," Alex sighed as he opened his eyes, looking at Tohru before he pulled the covers over his head, wanting to just drift back to sleep.
"At least you can breathe again," Tohru pointed out. "I'll spare you half an hour, but then you're taking the medicine again. Not going to take any chances again."
"I liked you better when you were speechless."

"Yipes lex, how can you say such a thing. I like the talkative tohru much better than the scary silent tohru" shin said watching the boy "Hey your sleepy arent you? Thats so cute, ya know since your awake lex im gonna go on about yuri, see how red you turn" shin said jokingly "Did you know they even kissed, that was the most amazing thing ever I swear" he said laughing a little glad alex seemed to be doing better.

"Remind me again why I never heard of this?" Tohru asked, laughing a little bit. "At least this clears away suspicions."
["What's that supposed to mean?" Alex asked, coming out from under the covers.
Tohru didn't say anything, giving an Alex an innocent smile instead.
"You're a sick b*****d, you know that?"
"Now that's cruel!"

"Best idea I've ever heard," Alex muttered as he sat up, tired of lying down.
"So you're finally going to awaken? Good." Tohru handed Alex the little measuring cup full of medicine. "Now be a good boy and take your medicine."
"Do you even know how weird that sounded?" Alex looked bitterly at the medicine before he sighed and drank it, coughing as he tasted the bitterness of the medicine.

"Yipes...you two..cant believe you lived together you fight so much" shin said laughing at the face alex made when he drank the stuff "That stuff cant taste good...but its gonna make him better right? So thats fine, and normaly I would shut up, but im having fun lex" he said messing with the boys hair "Glad your awake, and doing atleast a little better" shin said smiling at the boy.

"Seriously, are you obsessed with my hair or something?" Alex asked, looking at Shin, though not really doing anything about it. "You know what? Never mind. Don't answer that. I feel like I'll end up really disturbed."

"You're not disturbed, but I think I am," Alex sighed. He fell back into the bed, just staring up at the ceiling.
"I'm gonna guess and say that you've never had a decent rest before, huh?" Tohru asked, sitting on the end of the bed. In his hand, he was holding Alex's necklace, more or less just looking at it as he held the pendant up at eye-level from its chain. "That's a problem."
"Uh-huh. No touching the necklace," Alex said simply, clenching his hand into a fist as the necklace disappeared from Tohru's hand and appeared in his own. "Seriously."

"Kay lex, we wont touch it while your awake, well wait until your asleep to take it" he said smiling at the boy "Lex never relaxes, never takes a break, and the moment he does it seems the world blows up around him, thats how its been. Were gonna fix that though cause your not going anywhere until your better lex...I mean what can be more fun than sleeping anyways?"

"Good luck with that," Alex sighed as he rolled over onto his side before he was unable to stay down for much longer and just got up and out of the bed.
"Are you seriously considering leaving?" Tohru asked, a little surprised.
"Yup."
