[Sorry if my other post was a little too one minded, I was slightly intoxicated when I posted >.< And when I say slightly, I mean - yeah >.<; Sorry]
Mizuki ignored the two siblings completely. It was the best. After the kill the Rage had taken upon new strengths. It now, was much like it had been in the flat when he had eaten his first human. Like it, though not as intense. But he knw if he did not find something to preoccupy his hunger, to calm himself, then he would turn on the kids. As Kalila spoke to him he flinched almost. Part of his brain latched onto that voice. Not so much the voice, as the location. It's exact height from the ground. All he'd have to do is turn some ninety degrees and lash out with his nails an he'd have a good chanceat getting her across the throat. He would then claw and tear, delighting in the spray, feasting until this maniacal hunger that ripped through his brain was sated - fat and satisfied - it would sleep and leave his concious alone. As if spurred by these mental workings, he began to dig all the more frantically. He half whined, half crooned, his fingers curved like claws to increase the rate of rummaging. Then his fingers scraped the tell tale plastic coverings of food. He seized it and brought it out, not even checking what it was he now had hold of. Raising the packet to his mouth he tore it open viciously with his teeth, devouring what was inside in a matter of moments. He dug again, coming up with something else. He ate that too. In this wid frenzied massacre of provisions, Mizuki began to feel the urgency of his Rage and Hunger ebb away like the tide. His rate slowed and his actions became more sluggish. Where as before it had seemed he did not need to breath, now rasping gasps where heard.
He took a few moments, head hung and eyes closed, to manually fight against the urges that had been clawing their way through his body. His fingers curled and curled on his lap before he finally inhaled deeply, as if surfacing from a deep dive. He tilted his head back and it rolled limply on his neck until he met the faces of the kids. Hios eyes were blurry and bloodshot, his face wet with perspiration, the dark circles under his eyes seemed darker and slightly smudge. He offered them an awkward smile. "I don't know what that was." He lied. His voice was weaker than before, gritty almost. "Shock I think." He said logically as, pressing hands on his knees, he stood. "******** me, it never gets any less scary." He winced and wobbled slightly on his feet, tattered empty packaging falling off him. Blood bubbled in his wounds. Now he stood, the tears in his shirt were more evident. It covered his for the most part, but as a sharp breeze caught the tattered fabric, shifting it to the side, three deep gashes from the top of his rib cage to his hip could be seen, his flesh smeared with blood. Red blood. Luckily it seemed as though all the darker, almost muddy, blood from the dog had been caught on his front, not touching the sides. But now he was no longer consumed by Rage, now that he was human again - Mizuki suffered terribly from the pain.
Having not noticed the breeze, Mizuki hoped to act as if he was fine. He still had a strong plan in his mind, though now that he wa so hungry - the Food Mart was now added to the agenda, right after the Arms store and the DIY. Though, deep down, he knew he was lying to himself in thinking he could make it all that way and not collapse - let alone hold his own if he came under attack. Which was moe probable now. He didn't know if Crazies were attracted to blood, wether they could smell it - but it seemed logical. Flinching where he stood, testing which foot he could put most weight on and feel less pain, he looked around a frown on his face. "Well, I say the plan stands. Guns. Goggles and Groceries." He grinned cheesily at this, despite looking very much worse for wear. "Then we head to Nina's with the supplies and I can have a little lie down."
Mizuki hobbled over to the dogs corpse where the board was still deeply bedded in the remnants of skull. Grabbing a hold of its end he wrenched it free. Swaying slightly on the spot he scrutinised the nails, which were now bent from over use. "Hmm, good thing we are going to the DIY. This baby looks like she could use a tune up." He turned to the two kids and grinned childishly. He looked a state. His expression was genuinely that of childish mischeif, making light of the situation. But his stance was slightly hunched, and he swayed where he stood - as if a strong breeze would knock him right over. He was splattered with gore and his hair was slick to his face with cold sweat, the dark circles under his eyes giving the impression of death, his skin having paled incredibly to look very unhealthy. "So, onwards to the Gun Show!"

"Oh? Canada's pretty much awesome, so that's cool." Nina said with a smile. Kalila and her were both very politically aware in liberal way. They both would look at Canada's health care system and sigh with sadness because the U.S. couldn't have a similar system. There were some good and bad bands that came from Canada, just like the U.S... A good one was Billy Talent, in her wide range of taste in music. It was basically the U.S. if it were colder, had less people, and fewer problems. "I'm sorry you're stuck here..." She said genuinely. She looked at the board and made a mental note of plans on how to get them. She turned to the board and wrote down "Artillery and ammo." We'll need that stuff soon. Hopefully not too son... She thought with a sigh.
Nina laughed at Garath's response and tried to hide a blush smoothly. She tried to look like she was just rubbing her eyes and putting her hair behind her ear. "Why thank you kind sir." Nina said jokingly back. On a serious note, Nina looked back at Garath, a change in her eyes. "Have you seen Dawn of the Dead...? The new one..." She asked with no emotion written on her face.

He smiles. "It's not that bad. It could be worse, I could be stuck up in northern ontario with the zombie outbreak. Actually if it was winter that would make it easy. I doubt zombies have learned about wheather apropriate clothing. Zombie popscicles any one?" He chuckles a bit. "But seriously the United States would be pretty much the same as Canada during an outbreak. Maybe less zombies though if you lived in the north."
He looks at what she added. "Well considering that we're in the States Ammo and guns should be easier to find." He says smiling and then he realizes that that could be seen as an insult. "Err no offence intended."
Hearing her question he thinks for a bit. "Dawn of the Dead? Isn't that the one with the zombies and the mall? I saw most of it but then I left because I got too... grossed out." He choses that word against scared. The movie was a scary one. Some zombie movies were worse but they were less scary too. Something about zombies and the desease had just been too scary during that movie. In hind sight he should have watched the entire thing. "So what about it?"

((It's quite alright. Don't worry about it.))
"What ever that sh*t was, it was scary!" Nicholas said after Mizuki. "Shock, my foot! That was something else. I don't care if it gets any less scary that crap can't do that... Can it?" He asked looking at his older sister. Kalila was still kind of shocked from the oldest-in-the-group's actions. "Were you... I don't know... Maybe in an Asylum for a 'problem' and you were some how freed in the chaos...?" Nicholas suggested. Kalila finally snapped out of her shock and hit Nicholas on the arm. "Boy! You better learn your place. This man just saved your life!" She said pointing at Mizuki. "And mine... So show some respect. Even if it were so... So the f*ck what. We still owe him our lives..." Kalila mumbled looking down at the ground.
As Mizuki stood up, Kalila gagged a little. It wasn't a gross out gag so much as it was a gag of just thinking about how painful the injuries were. Kalila slowly walked over to Mizuki and took the bag from him, so at least he wouldn't have to worry about that. It was a lot lighter now she noticed as she watched the plastic wrappers go down the street along with the breeze. As Mizuki spoke of his plan Kalila gave Mizuki a look-over. He looked like he had come back from the dead. He was pale because he lost so much blood. He had many gashes. He was covered in blood. He looked like he hadn't sleeped in days. How is this man gonna make it even a step more...?
Kalila and Nicholas watched as Mizuki yanked out and examined his plank. "Yeah... it does look like it needs repairs..." Nicholas said with a shiver remembering the way he kept bashing the dead dog over and over again. He gave a quick examination to Mizuki with his eyes and decided Mizuki failed with an F+. Nicholas looked over at Kalila and shook his head. He summoned Kalila to him with his hands waving towards him. Kalila walked up to him and gave him a questioning look. "He whispered very softly to his sister "I don't think he can make it in this condition. We should get to Nina's." "That's what I was thinking..." Kalila said truthfully, a little more quiet than her brother since she didn't have to worry about the bass in her voice. "I-I think we should drag him there if we have to." she said, but not meaning it in a literal way.
((Metzli if you have any problems with what happens from this point on in the post... Just tell me and I'll edit it to better go with your plan.))
"Already a step ahead of you." He mumbled to his sister with a huge grin. "Wait wha-" Kalil was cut off. "Oh God! Kalila your so freakin' boy-crazy! What the hell do you mean you love Mizuki!? You barely know the guy!" Nicholas said loudly with a faked expression of disgust on his face, meaning for Mizuki to heat and see his scene. "What the Fu- Oh! Alright!" Kalila said not getting it at first and then the plan slapping her across the face with realization. She looked over at Mizuki with a fake look of passion and seduction. "Oh... Mizuki-kun!" She was definately over doing it. "I wanted to tell you, but I was much to shy" She said walking towards him with a swing in her hips a little more emphasized than normal. Before he could really react, Kalila was leaning on his side. She avoided the gash 100% possible while still in the position. She also chose to lean on his side so she wouldn't get any of the Great Dane's blood on her. She looked the older one in the eyes with her eyes half lidded, her finger tips lightly brushed against his collar bone. As all this went on, Nicholas was slowly walking up behind Mizuki. Before Kalila could embarrass herself any further Nicholas quickly took the bokken out of his belt loop, where it had been hanging, and gave a good wallop to the junction between Mizuki's neck and shoulder. Immediately Mizuki started to drop from a knocking out blow. Kalila caught his head lower back before he could hit the ground.
"Sorry 'love' but you need to heal." Kalila said with a laugh, though she had a worried look on her face. "Look at him Nicho... He freakin' looks just like one of the infected. We have to get to Nina's house. She definately has first aid supplies." She said, trying to justify what they just did to herself out loud. "Yeah... He looks pretty bad." Nicholas said with a sigh. He crouched down and started to pick up his legs. "You get his upper part." "Alright." Kalila said. She grabbed him underneith his arms. "Ready? One, two, lift!" She and Nicholas lifted him up and began to speed walk to Nina's place. Nicholas had his pack and Mizuki's, and Kalila carried the other pack with the plank put in the inbetween space between her back and the pack. The dagger was tucked into the same belt her bokken was. "What the hell was that, Kali?" Nicholas asked, out of breath with carrying part of Mizuki's weight and speedwalking. "You made yourself a complete whore... and over did it." He said with a laugh. "It... Was the only thing I could think of." Kalila said, in the same condition as her brother. "That's the only way... I could have his full attention and catch him off guard..." She said with a blush, not from her body working itself, but with embarrasment.
They made it to Nina's front door. The nails could be seen holding the door shut. The nails were surely bent so it couldn't be pulled out from any side. There was a table nailed to the door with a note taped to it. "We should put him down real fast-" Nicholas said out of breath. Neither of them read the note just yet. "Okay..." Kalila replied. They both sat Mizuki up on the stairs and leaned him up against the rail, making sure he wouldn't be in an awkward position if he woke up. Nicholas sat on the stairs and caught his breath as his sister walked up to the door. "Sh*t... We gotta pick him back up again." Kalila said after reading the note. "I guess its a good thing in the sense we know we're gonna be safe." She added as an after thought. "We gotta go up the fire escape to get in..." She informed. He huffed with annoyance and got back up. The lifted the limp body of Mizuki again and brought him around back. Kalila looked up and indeed there was a light on in Nina's room. "Sweet! Go up and knock." Kalila ordered her brother lightly. They set Mizuki down slowly and leaned him up against the brick wall of Nina's house. Kalila crouched on the ground if front of his limp body with the dagger drawn in her tight grip. Nicholas jumped with a helpful kick-off from the wall and grabbed the bottom rung of the fire escape. He started to climb. "Hurry up Nicholas." Kalila said with the tone you would say 'good luck' in more than a command. "I will" He answered back looking down at his big sister.

Nina lightly giggled at the joke and assured Garath that no offense was taken at his statement. Though she liked that guns were less available, because she was all up for gun control. This was just one of those rare situations guns would need to be widely available.
"Well," Nina began, holding back the questioning look on her face from Garath's response of how much of the movie he had seen. "You know how they wrote a huge not on the top of their building to get help? Do you think we should do that?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head. She kind of flinched when she heard a very slight noise outside. But, she decided not to give it any thought and concentrate completely on Garath. It could be my imagination... she thought frantically. "Hmmm?" She added trying to distract Garath, if he heard the noise at all.

[LMFAO XD I freakin' LOVE that post. Sneaky bitches X3!!!!!! I watched 28 days later last night and have been wanting to post since <33]
"No mental institutions." He said warily with a slight grin. "But if you'd had to do what I have - you'd be a little off too." Mizuki did not go into specifics. Some how he didn't think the two kids would find an indepth tale of matricide and more very fun - and it would possibly put them off more so than they already were. He was slightly happy however when Kalila stood up for him, despite seeing the silent agreement and concern in her eyes that she shared with her more forward brother.
Mizuki had his eyes held so close to the bent nails it seemed that he was planning to gouge his own eyes out. In truth, he was simply trying to mask the fact that his eyes well glazing over and his eyelids were becoming leaden weights, fighting to slide shut. He was, in truth, suprised he was still standing. He couldn't actually feel his knees anymore - his legs now oly a distant tingling sensation relative to pins and needles.
He raised his head, slightly confused as he heard a shout near by. He raised the plank like a baseball bat in case of sudden attack. But he looked so frail, and wobbled at the knees, so didn't look exactly threatening. It took him a few moments to register what the younger of the two had said. This was confirmed as Kalila started to swagger towards him. All his pride and adult arrogance forgotten, Mizuki began to feel rather like a ten year old. That is, a rabbit caught in the head lights. Seeing her advance he felt so out of his depth he wanted to leg it. He was sure if he did anything in reply it'd be illegal and he'd get banged up for being a nonce. It didn't even register that there was no justice system anymore. He let the plank fall at his side along with his arm, watching her advance with a look of pure panic on his face. First of all, he wasn't too used to having pretty girls approach him, having spent much of his youth indoors rather than out socialising due to his heart condition. Second of all, there was a large age gap. For someone who liked being in control, Mizuki was completely put out by someone else taking charge. All he managed was a half stumble, half step backwards before she was on him, carressing his collar bone. Mizuki grinned slightly and licked his lips whilst trying to think of something to say. He was, however, spared the trouble. Before he could get the words past his tongue, there was a sharp blinding pain at the back of his head so strong that his a bright light consumed his vision before giving way to black.
Mizuki uttered a soft moan as his eyes rolled back and he fell forwards only to be caught before he hit the floor. Mizuki was not exactly a heavy person, but as dead weight like this it was easy to see why the two would struggle. When he woke up he was going to be pissed, but in the mean time - whilst he was no aware of it, he would have been grimly satisfied to know that he was bleeding all over Kalila's nice clothes.
It was only a minute or so after Nicholas' departure that he began to come round. His eyes flickered open, but bombarded by harsh light, they shut again. His head throbbed sickeningly and he felt bile rise in his throat. His head rolled on his shoulders as he tried to lift it and the sudden slamming of his chin into his chest over balanced him. He slide to the side, feeling so disorientated it was at the point of nausea. When he hit the floor, he let out a loud yelp of pain as he scraped his wounds on the concrete floor. This added to the already overwhelming pulse in his head turned from anguish into pyshical illness as he spasmed on the floor, fit like for a moment before managing to get his head caught between the railings. He thrashed and caught his throat on the bar, greating a horrible choking sensation. This was enough. He convulsed for a few moments, shuddering horrifically before retching and vomitting down out of the railings. He threw up all he'd managed to cram down from Kalila's bag, shivered bitterly, then lay still.
At first he'd thought it was a dream, that he was at home, but that changed as memories flooded back. He groaned pitifully. "You bastards." He said aloud, his voice barely a hoarse whisper. "What the ******** was that for?"

He thinks. He hadn't gotten that far in the movie. He remembers the sniping match with the gun owner, and the signs used to comunicate between them. But After the exploration of the lower mall and the zombie baby he had left. Mostly he hadn't watched enough of it and hadn't stayed till the ending. Also he could barely remember what he had seen. "I don't remember it but it sounds like agreat idea." He hears a noice outside and notices her twich at the noice. "Err, I think I heard something outside." He grabs his walking stick. "I really don't want to learn zombies can climb before it's too late." He walks over to the window and opens it with his walking stick. Ready to hit any climbing zombies. Instead he sees that boy from earlier. "Howdy, long time no see." He turned back into the room smiling. "It's your friend that you were worried about."

Kalila looked back at Mizuki and gave him a sheepish smile. She looked up at her brother and then back to the man in front of her. "Please don't be mad at me. I could see you were completely uncomfortable with what I did." She said, pleading with her eyes. She remembered his reactions to her, went along with her brother's plan anyway, and felt horrible about it. It made her self-esteem wobble with more uncertianty. Mizuki didn't seem to like it at all. Even though it was fake, it still made her feel bad. The only good reaction she got from him was near the end, he had smiled. But, it almost seemed forced. "Believe me... I was too. Being the dominant is so not me when it comes to love interests..." She said mostly to herself, shuddering a the thought. Yeah, I much rather be the submissive one if you know what I mean... the dirty part of her mind piped up with a mental grin. Kalila drowned that thought out quickly. More importantly he's what...? Four, five years older than me. That was completely out of line and disrespectful. "Well... Nicholas and me had to do it. You were so not gonna make it anywhere. You look sick. I'm sorry you threw up all you ate... But we still have more food. You can eat that." Her speech was becoming fast and confidenceless again. She wiped off Mizuki's mouth with the sleeve of her dress and then riped that part off. Throwing it to the side as if it were a napkin. Her outfit was dead and never coming back to life anyway. "I-I'm sorry... We're at Nina's now..." She said eyes staying on a certian spot on the ground, seeming to find it highly interesting, as a blush played vividly across her face.
Meanwhile Nicholas looked at the man in Nina's window with one eyebrow cocked. "Glad to see you made it to safety..." He said after a slight pause. "Hi Nina... Thanks for inviting us." He inserted really quickly after catching a glimps of her past Garath. He said it very awkwardly, yet it was genuine. "Well anyways there is me, Kali, and a fellow we met along the way, named Mizuki... Um... He's knocked out- long story, you wouldn't care- and we need some help carrying him up the stairs." Nicholas informed. "No we don't!" Kalila said looking up and raising her voice a little for the group above. Not a yell, she had been too scared to yell since the first infected attacked. She had heard the entire conversation 'upstairs' from her position. "He's awake..." She said, adding a cough. Nicholas laughed a little but continued his way up. "But, he is injured and needs some first aid... and if possible more than that..." She looked at Mizuki one more time, and then back up again. "And some sleep." "Alright then... Can I come in?" He asked looking past the man to Nina.

Nina smiled and thought That's how far Kalila got in the movie... 'til she had to leave for Kendo practice. Garath started getting up and made his way to the window. She made an effort to stop him but was interrupted. Garath informed her it was Nicholas, and it was confirmed when she heard his voice. She laughed with a new wave of optimism and ran to the window behind Garath. "Hi Nicholas!" Nina answered back with happiness, beaming off of her very aura. "And your welcome kid!" She was so happy he had survived and there was another wave of elation as she heard her friend had survived... With a guy that had a Japanese name. A quinedence, or just plain freaky? she asked herself mentally, knowing how much Kalila loved Japan... and Japanese guys. What caught her off guard though was to hear he was knocked out. It would have pasted her up as just nothing, if Nicholas hadn't tried to push past the fact so quickly. She narrowed her eyes at him, and made a mental not to ask him about it later.
"Ah! Kalila!" Nina squealed as her survival was confirmed with her voice as well. She gentally pushed past Garath, giving him a bright smile as she did so and leaned out the window. She saw Nicholas with a healthy sheen of sweat. He's fine... Good! she thought and looked past him. She looked lower and saw Kalila. She on the other hand was blood covered and the man she was with too. Indeed Japanese... she thought with a mental smile and had a mini-spasm at his hotness. She was boy crazy, she couldn't help it. This Mizuki, on the other hand, looked a lot injured by far compared to her friends. Bad news: He needs some doctoring. Good news: Two hot guys now. Bad News: We're in a Zombie Apocolypse... Her mood fluctating with each thought. "Kalila! Get your @$$ up here... And bring him with you! Why are you and him so bloody?" She asked loudly downwards, when mentioning Mizuki pointing at him with her nose. She looked over at her younger friend's little brother. She frowned at him mockingly. "No you can't come in during a Zombie attack where you can die outside." She said harshly, a few seconds later she bagan to laugh. "Of course you can come in! I invited you. You didn't have to ask!" She said, again laughing. She moved out of the window to make room for the group of three to come in.

Garath began to asemble some of his medical supplies. Time to go help. He climbed out the window and got as low as he could and jumped off so he wouldn't have to force the boy off the ladder. Getting up he went over to the girl and the other guy. It seemed that the guy that Garath had treated was no longer here. He was probably dead and Garath thought a quick prayer for the man who's name he never knew. But now was the time to help the living. Garath sat down beside them and looked at teh guys wounds. "I really really hope I can remember what I learned at first aid." He says speaking to the man and the girl. The man was awake but Garath wasn't sure if he was rational or coherent. Garath began organizing the stuff in his pack to decide what to use first.

[Awh, she thinks ghe was like that because of her =[ Mizuki's just not used to female attention from being cooped up most of his youth. Which makes me think he's gunna have a panic attack when he meets Nina O_O]
Mizuki looked up at Kalila. His eyes were clouded and glazed and even though he was staring intently at Kalila, it seemed as though his line of sight stopped just short of her. He grinned awkwardly as she cleaned his mouth, and all too concious of the acrid smell on his breath, turned his head away from her, laying it down on the balcony floor. "Thanks." He said hoarsely. "I wasn't so much uncomfortable as suprised. No often I get girls being so forward. But in this state, hardly suprising, eh?" He laughed slightly but it was cut short by another short dry retch as his laughter hitched against the nauseating throb in his head, causing another slight bout of spasms, that though scary, were no way near his convulsions of moments before. He took a few more moments to quieten, aclimatising to the throb and waves of sickness that coursed through him. "Netx time you wanna save my life, try not to nearly kill me." He said flatly, concentrating on the cold surface beneath his cheek to take his mind of his discomfort.
Mizuki tried to roll onto his back, and after a few moments of stabbing pain that caused him to break out in a cold sweat. He lay on his back for a few moments, eyes screwed shut, teeth bared as he gasped for breath like a fish out of water. There was a large splattered smear of blood beside him where he had just laid, the wounds on that side looked nasty, dirt and grit lining the torn flesh from the balcony. He opened his eyes and stared at the sky. He looked at the clouds. So white, the sky so blue. Like any normal day. There were even a few birds twittering away, chasing each other, delighting in the humans plight and the fact that the sky was once more theirs. Mizuki's disgust and hatred for them increased ten fold. His eyes blurred a moment and for a gut wrenching moment he thought he could see his mothers face moulded in the clouds. He blinked profusely, tears stinging at the back of his optics and stared at the clouds for what they were. I'm becoming deluded. he thought quietly. Loosing it. He rolled his head to Kalila and smiled. From his new vantage point he could see Nicholas up the ladder, the guy from earlier with his head thrust out the window. "Aaah, the Nina of which Legends foretold. Funny, I thought she'd be prettier." He joked dryly. Then grinned he rolled his head to the side to stare out of the railings. He frowned. He could have sworn he'd seen movement in the far ally. He chose not to mention it. He'd seen the siblings abandon that wounded guy before, and Mizuki had no desire to meet the same fate.
Then he noticed the other guy descend the ladder. As the guy mumbled about medical school Mizuki's eyes widened. "Yeah! So do I." He wriggled slightly, hiding the wince of pain by shifting himself slightly. "Come to think of it I feel much better." He lied. His pale moist skin and dark shadows beneath his eyes coupled with the six gaping gashes told a truer story about his state of health. Mizuki shifted, trying to pull himself away from the guy with the medic kit, grabbing ahold of the lowest rung of the ladder and attempting to pull himself up, only to fail miserably.

Garath went behind him and grabbed him. "I personally think that you might be infected and at the least you need medical aid. There's no way I'm letting you go up they till i have a chance to look at your wounds." Garath uses a simple head lock to drag the guy off the ladder and manover him to the ground. Garath reached into his pack and got out some alcohol and dummped it on the woudns hoping that would kill off the zombies fluids. Still he suspected that the guy was infected and beyond help. But if he didn't help this guy the others would probably hate him. Garath grabbed some cloth and aplied pressure to the wounds with one hand. As he fiddled with some medical tape to hold the cloth in place. "Judging by the wounds you were bitten right? In that case you are most certaiinly infected but I will wait till you become one of them before I do anything. You are still a human and thus deserve as much help as we can give you. Maybe you will prove immune to the virus." Garath says this quietly so just the young man can hear. He beleives that no one will be immune but who knows there is no way he is going to kill someone just because they might be infected. He would just have to make sure none of this guy's blood got inside him.

((Oh... Kalila is very self-aware and has low self esteem. So I would think, not knowing about his childhood or his heart condition, she would assume it was a negative reaction to her. And yeah, lol, he might freak out with Nina))
Nicholas moved out of the way as the fellow from earlier lowered himself down towards his sister and Mizuki. He continued his way up and crawled into Nina's window. He walked in and sat in front of the television, highly interested in what was going on with the virus. He sat in a crouch as to help, run, or attack if ever he needed to. He would take to watching in a few minutes if nothing went awry. "Nina... Um... What's that guys name?" Nicholas asked sheepishly. He felt weird that this was his second time seeing him and he didn't even know what to call him. He took along the room, making note of all the fortification done to the window across the hall, seen through the open door. He looked at the dry erase board and smiled. They have the same basic plan as us. He thought with a smirk. He was refering to Kalila, Mizuki, and him as a group. But their groups had finally joined up and he was relieved.
"Oh... Okay." Kalila reacted, not knowing what else to do after Mizuki explained himself. Oh wow. He seems so sure of himself. I would have never guessed he got flustered by girls. Her esteem didn't raise or lower at this news though. She still felt terrible for what she did. It was Nicholas's plan, and it was a dirty trick, but she went along with it; thus it was her responsiblity. At least, that is how she saw it. Oh my God! Kalila's mind boomed out with rememberance. Nina's not gonna be good for that... She thought about Mizuki's behavior. Or not... It'll be training... She added after a while. Kalila gasped and scooted closer to Mizuki as he hacked. She grabbed his hand. "I-I'm sorry!" She repeated as he spoke. She was flustered and anxious. "I promise... I'll think it through clearer next time. Nothing to cause you any physical harm!" She added. Now Mizuki's discomfort turned into something a lot more than just a couple gashes. Perhaps his wounds got infected, look at all that sh*t in it. I could have sworn he didn't get bitten. The dog blood didn't get to his wounds... I saw! She thought, scared for Mizuki. Also... That three day thing. It's not possible he's infected. He said the virus has been through his area for a long time. she kept trying to convince herself. This man had saved her brother's and her life, risking his well being. That was good enough for her to keep loyal.
Mizuki spoke of Nina. Kalila was half offended. The other half found it humorous, figuring he was joking. It seemed really weird for someone to say that about Nina in Kalila's opinion. All of her guy friends and most guys that spoke of Nina never said anything negative. In fact, when it came to her looks, they always commented on how "hot" she was. Maybe he can't see straight... He's ill after all. Kalila thought. Also... All of them would pick Nina over me. she thought, refering to the guys she knew, happy for Nina, but disheartened for herself. Hmmm. He probably has different taste...
Kalila watched as Mizuki tried to lie his way out of his injury. She was about to bring him back for the guy from earlier to help him, but the man was already to it. He used a headlock. That's a bit rough on an injured fellow... Kalila thought with a mental wince. But, Kalila physically jolted and winced when the alcohol was poured into Mizuki's wounds. "What the hell is wrong with you!?" She wailed looking at the man, her eyes wide with question. "Are you trying to knock him out from pain!?" She frowned, not hearing his quiet speech with Mizuki. It's already been done once... she thought sadly, mentally slapping herself. "I... I'm sorry." She said after a two seconds pause. "I'm just freakin' out. You could have put it in a little slower. But... But I'm not the expert on first aid... Please excuse my behavior..." She finally said bowing her head in shame. She lifted it back up timidly and looked from Mizuki to the man from before. "Um... I don't think Mizuki will be able to climb. Do... Do you need help carrying him up after you're done...?" She asked brushing her hand against her face; the motion revealing her stressed state. I have to stay calm... Or I'll doom everyone. Kalila thought with a down note.

Nina laughed. Nicholas was good at making the simplest things seem awkward. "His name is Garath" She said a smile still left on her face. She pulled herself back in. That guy looked and sounded like he was dying. "So kid... tell me what happen to you guys..." Nina asked, trying to get him to slip how Mizuki got in such a state. If that guys infected... I swear she thought. She didn't have an idea of what she would do. But she knew she could just let the guy come in. Survival of the majority was at risk. Pero if he is infected... I could wait 'til he turns... Then... kill him? Her confusion kicking in near the end of the thought.
Nicholas took a glance outside the window and back at Nina. "God... Fine..." He started. He informed Nina of the attacks that first happened. The running, the spliting up to protect their supplies, the husband fellow dying, the fire escape, the plans, the disagreement, and the result. Of course, all the information had his biased and view point added to it. He kind of told her about the knocking out of Mizuki. But, he skipped over the details.
"Holy sh*t! All that to get here?" She said with amazement. "Holy poo! That was so manly!" She said excited. But, this was also bubbling up her fear again. At least I know they're defeatable... It's also possible to survive. So far everything in the book is valid she thought with relief. In her opinion, optimism was the key, or they would never make it. "Man... I would have knocked him out too. No distractions though, right in the kisser." Nina said with a jabbing motion of her right fist. She wasn't serious, she always was in a humorous kind of mood. "F*ck dude... That guy is stubborn!" She commented about Mizuki.

"Ack!!!!" Mizuki was taken completely unwares by the sudden swooping headlock that peeled him off the ladder rungs. He then let out a slight yelp of pain as he was pulled around so roughly, the partially healing flesh at the edges of his wounds tearing once more at the sudden movement. Fresh blood began to roll down his already tainted skin and darken the stains on his clothing, whilst leaking into the other dude. "Infected!? Dude I swear, the moment I can move you are so gunna get a - AGH!!!!!" Mizuki visibly crumpled at the middle, his lips curled back his teeth bared, eyes screwed shut against the pain as pure alcohol was tipped into his wounds. The floor seemed to lurch and spin underneath him. When he opened his eye they were bloodshot, his eyes watering from the pain of it, unrestricted, washing in with the sweat and dirt on his face.
Mizuki shuddered in the guys grip for a few moments, mentally forcing himself to overcome the pain. What was it his father used to get him to do? Whenever he'd feel the chest pains coming on, or whenever they were sparring and he'd get hit and fall his father always told him to do the same thing. Group your thoughts. Clear your mind and pull that conciousness away from the pain. Detatch your mind from your body. He took a few long but shallow breaths, made difficult by the headlock, and forced his concious away from the source of pain. After a few moments he was able to semi achieve this - he usually needed pure quiet and concentration and had never tried to detatch himself from such a degree of anguish before. Still, it helped, his pain becoming nothing more than searing stabs of pain, like large burns.
He fought to raise his eyes to meet Kalila's. "Ugh. I am not sure I want this guy examining my wounds. What sort of - ugh - ********' doctor can't tell the difference between scratches and a bite!" He winced again, shivering as the pain broke though his mental hold for a brief moment. "Do the math genius. Three long cuts down my sides. In the posistion of claws. Start at the top of my ribs, dragged down to my hip I imagine. Now if that was a bite that creature would have had to have a Big a** jaw and three long teeth - in frekin' line with each other!" It did occur to Mizuki that he was being very rude. After all, this guy was only trying to help. But he was in pain, he was agitated and worst of all, that terrible hunger had chosen the worst possible time to make a reappearance. He was also starting to feel terribly tiered from blood loss. Mizuki knew, he didn't know how, that if he lost control over himself whilst in the Hunger, same as if he was in the Rage - then the results would bode badly for all of them. He fought his eyes open. "If I am infected, we'll know soon enough." He hissed, not just so that Garath could hear as the boy had so politely one for him, but loud enough for all listening in to hear. "And if that comes to pass I'll be weak from my wounds and easy to pick off. But until the time that I am nibbling on your skull I ask that you give me some god damn slack!"
