This might just be my opinion but, it seems like everyone wants a seme because everyone wants a man to be strong, romantic, affectionate, and basically do all the work in the relationship.
Do semes always have to make the first move? Uke need to step up and take action every once in a while, your semes deserve it.

For me i would choose a Uke..cause i am a boring and serious type of person, i wish someone with Uke Personality to brighten up my days. l0ls

I personally like the Semes better. The ukes are cute and what not, but I love the dominant guys. <3

I perfer ukes better. Completely. I think, if I was in a girlxgirl relationship, I'd probably be the seme (actually, I'm probably 50/50, because I can easily act innocent and such like a uke), and ukes make me smile. My current favourite character of all time, Kaoru Hitachiin (Ouran High School Host Club) is almost always a uke, and he's just so adorable, smart, cute, and selfless~ I think every uke is so aorable and would be fun to have around.

Ukes~! They're sooo cute! I just wanna hold 'em, and squeeze 'em, and cuddle with 'em, and dote on 'em, and protect 'em and... lol. Yeah... *ahem* I prefer ukes. But the ukes who have those wonderfully strong spirits are my favorite. I like them being a little rebelious. wink

[`Novacaine] I'm more of a uke when in love so... I'd go for Seme, I generally find ukes too adorable to be obtained Plus I want more dominance, doing things myself generally does not work out

I prefer uke...they are cute and adorable..though sometimes they can be annoying -.- but uke are born to brighten up other people life and i love to chat or live with them.

I like the uke a lot, because I can relate more to the seme and have more in common with them also. I am kind of a seme, so I natually like uke.

Then again, on occassion, being the dominant one can be entertaining...
I guess it depends. But in general, I'll go for a seme.
