Edgar Allen Poe was a genius. My favorite poem is Annabel Lee, but I love Israfel too- it's such a beautiful poem!
My favorite stories are The Black Cat and The Angel of the Odd.

The Pit and the Pendulum.
The Cask of Amontillado was rather good..
The Bells was nice.. just...not when my *loudly spoken* teacher read it..><

I've always found the things he wrote right on that line of wonderful and dull. >___.
My favorite of his works has been The Murders in the Rue Morgue.

i've read most of his poetry and i think it's amazing...
i love dreamland, the raven, annabelle lee, fairy-land, a dream with in a dream, and spirits of the dead

I LOVE EDGAR ALLEN POE!!!
The Raven has such a sad storyline behind it though...like the REASON he wrote it is so saddening, don't ya' think? It just about made me cry cry

I've only read Metzengerstein, The Facts In the Case of M. Valdemar, and Ms. Found in A Bottle, but I've got to say Poe is awesome. I can't wait to read more of his work
EDIT:All of it is awesome... especially The Fall of the House of Usher. Ligeia is cool too

i LOVE him and his stuff! i actually have everything he's written. but my favorite of all time has to be The Tell Tale Heart, i dont know why but i love it. and Dreams is another one i really love
