And it has nothing to do with country.
It's Rap. But I always add a silent "c" to the beginning of that word, hence the brackets. Crap, get it? My teacher taught me it.

I don't draw well either (you've seen my art, I think). I bet it's a lot better than you think, though. An artist always mentally downplays their work. The creator of a piece of art, be it written or drawn, or played, can always identify every single little flaw in the image that nobody else will pick up on.

Clammy is right: I pick apart my writing, well, more I think it's terrible, I'm sure I'd have to actually read it more than as I write it to pick it apart. BUT! Yes, creators are always hard on themselves. My friend yelled at me the other day for hating on my writing so much. I can see why. I'm always hating it xDD''
My drawing though, is pretty bad, needs practice that I do get. I hate showing my best cause she's all like, it looks good! and meanwhile, I'm like ... have you even LOOKED at your sketchbook!? It's awesome!

This girl I used to know...
she was my best friend, really.
Well anyways, she was good at EVERYTHING
except defending me from bullies. S:
But I mean, she could sing and dance and draw
and act and be social, and she was beautiful and always got the guys.
We were like sisters, us two.
And that's why it really made me...
really depressed, when she got into drugs.
It's like... all of that talent and beauty...
I don't want to say wasted, but it seems that way.
I miss her a lot... Illy knew her, if only for a while.
She got emancipated, I believe, and I don't know where she is now.
But I remember always being jealous of her,
and feeling like when she got into drugs...
that she was taking for granted the gift that she'd been given,
the one that God or whoever hadn't given me.
It kind of made me mad, but more than angry I felt sorry for her....

That's terribly said.
My best (well, closest best friend)
is good artistically
and she's only social with people she wants to be with
and has only dated a couple guys that were jerks and too clingy.
That's it.
One thing I know
is that she'll never ruin herself like that.
Which is good.
Cause I've already seen someone who was a close friend do that
So I understand the wasted talent.
I'm sure your friend could have gone far,
and mine might have made a better life for herself
If she'd tried.

I guess in some ways, I wasn't jealous though.
