What I own from Hto Topic:
-A black skirt
-Fallout Boy jacket
-I blaket with Sesshomaru on it
-Black Nailpolish
-Black Skater shoes with skulls on em
-Hidden leaf Headband
I think that is it. The closest one to me is about 45 minutes away. But atleast there is one near me. I dont go there often though ((tear))

So? Do you really have to brag about how much you spent at a certain store? No. You could tell us what you got, but you are more like, OMFG, I spent lots at hot topic, I am goth now.

I think I'd actually have to try really, really hard to spend that much money at Hot Topic, despite how expensive all the items in the store are (save for the sales rack) & the fact that I am something of a shopaholic.
There's just something about their style of clothing that I'm not fond of. At all. (No, I'm not one of those Goth elitists who would automatically write off anyone wearing anything from Hot Topic as a "poser", a "mallcore kid", or an "idiot", either.)

I think she put the large amount of money all the items cost in total in the post to help illustrate the whole "giant Hot Topic shopping spree!" thing. I could of course be wrong, but I don't think anything in her post said "I'm a cool Goth cause I can spend lots of money on clothes!" or anything of that sort. & even if she did not put the price, I think most of the people here know how ridiculously expensive Hot Topic is...

XAngelFromYourNightmareX I got the lace and plaid tripp pants! A "from first to last" hoodie some Black and orange anarachic stitched skate shoes. A black and red striped tube top that has a white skull on it. Also some arm warmers and a black and purple tinkerbell backpack for school. I spent 200$ in 30 min. mrgreen www.hottopic.com its not hard to spend money there

Only time I go on any shopping spree there is when thy're having major clearance sale and I can acutally find things I like. You know those season clearances, 50% off the 50% tagged price

What a waste of $200. Sorry.
Advice, if you HAVE to go to Hot Topic? Sale racks. Praise the eternal glory of sale racks. Where I am, the sale racks are full of the well-made, detailed corsetty shirts and dresses for half price, because nobody'll buy them. They want the OO LOOK CHAINS I'M SPOOKY NOW MUAHA clothing.
