Computers only help at the beginning, as everyone else said, but I don't have any decent human players to fight against ('cept my little siblings). Plus, computer players make for good punching bags when you're pissed off. mrgreen

They don't lessen your skill, but they're good for practicing techniques. I can beat any amount of level 9's with Pikachu, but that doesn't make me awesomely good or anything. As a matter of fact, I still have a lot to do, but that i'll save for Brawl.

aznlegacy Mr. Lionheart the problem with humans basically is i hate playing with people that won't stop yelling in my ear and teaming up on me, and having a fricken big ego yup i agree completely with you..like you're a pretty decent player and start winning alot, then they just start to gang up on you and don't do anything else cept going after you Oh, so you know my brother?

if ur new at SSB than u are supposed to start out fighting the cpus. Train urself until u can eventually beat level 9 whatevers teamed against you. After that, u shuld feel confident enough, and hopefully good enough, to go out into the real world of gaming and brag to ur friends and challenge them. see how it goes and hopefully you'll win. from there u can fight ur little heart out and play and of course increase your skills. fighting other people is the best way to train urself. 4laugh

Dominator12489 viewtifulkye scooterkid34 I've (just barely) beaten 3 level nines, but not when they're ganged up on me. sweatdrop Computers are too easy, but you should practice at lest once in a while with three computers so you're not adjusted to only 1-on-1 matches. Cuz in a free-for-all, you'll get your butt whupped. 3nodding Your SCHOOL has a Smash Bros. tournament!?! eek How do I transfer? xp lol well... sweatdrop good luck with that. Anyways, I can handle Link lvl 9, Fox lvl 9, and Falco lvl 9... scream AT THE SAME TIME!! Listen Noobos they can't help ya...they can show your skills. But beat before Falco, Gannon/Captn Falken, and Marth all level nine. BUT here is the real challenge Put there handy cap on 9 and your on one and beat them like I did. THEN YOU CAN TALK! I'm sorry, but you need some proof. There's no point to it if you're saying that lvl 9s don't help you if you say to fight lvl 9 with a 9 handicap against your 1 handicap. I mean, WTF?
