Phoenix_Blue I love the Meredith Gentry series as much if not more than the Anita Blake series, I think that the characters are not rip-offs and are individuals. Did anyone else think that A Stroke of Midnight is alot of induenndo (probably didn't spell that right)? If you don't get it, just think of Doyle, then the title...*evil snicker* Oh...Sholto, I like him (I like doyle more). Anyone else waiting to catch a glimpse of Sholto in A Stroke of Midnight? Hahaheehee about the stroke of doyle reference redface And yes I love Sholto! I hope they finally get to do the wicked dance as JC would say.

I can't wait for the new guards to show up in the next book, I can't wait to get to know their characters! Although so far I don't like Abloec, the drunk with striped hair, but I do like Adair alot so far!

I just read online at Amazon.com that there is a book like Cravings only it is called "Stroke of Midnight." It has stories about vampires, werewolves etc by several authors. I can't believe it has the same name as the new Merry book. I don't know when it was published, and I don't know if LKH will care, but I just thought it sucked because it might confuse people.

Bobsthename Frost as Asher......mmm.......I don't like Asher, but I enjoy Frost. Doyle seems a little more human then Edward XD I'd be pretty dammed scared to see Edward orgasm......Doyle doesn't bother me I like them both. They're both kinda needy when it comes to affection but still adorable. Maybe Asher is more like Sholto since they both have the physical and mental "damage" going on. Would that make Roane = Micah? I sorta thought of him when I first started reading the series. Concerning Edward and orgasms.. I don;t think I can even imagine it. I envy the lucky girl though xp

Roane = Micah!!! That is brilliant. It makes perfect sense. I hated them both the first mention of either of them in each book, so I definitely think in comparing the two series, they are the closest to each other.

I don't really mind either Roane or Micah, but they are a little vanilla, ne? Not really much to them, sort of boring. Although, Micah does get some points for being adorable. Think naptime in CS. ^^
And I don't see anything creepy about Edward and sex. It's just another hunger for him. Nothing remarkable. Remember what he said about it in... jeez... was it OB? I read the series too fast. >_< Personally, I go for guys like him. He can bring his assassin-skills to my city, anyday. ^^;

I really like Sholto...does anyone else find him totally lovable heart ? I so think that he and Meredith are going to get much closer xd ...and that she wouldn't really mind getting closer...
