I have to be honest, I don't take either red or blue pills. I would rather not say what I do but I will say that since I have so much spare time I like to spend time on gaia. I think gaia is relaxing and you get to meet interesting people on here.

G'day. I work as a graphic artist and engraver in a trophy shop. It's boring, frustrating, stressful and ultimately pointless, but it paid the bills while my little family held together. Now I'm separated, I don't feel tied to the place. I'd love to move out of the suburbs and into the bush, if I can find some job (any job) to fund my lifestyle. Meanwhile, I'm writing a novel (attempt No. 10) in the vain hope of living off royalties for the remainder of my years.

Better idea - ensure my daughter marries well and sponge off her! Just kidding.

I'm studying for the pharmacy tech. certification test. Once i've gotten a decent enough job to pay bills i'll probably go back to college and finish my degree in pharmacy.

I'm 24 and after working typical teen jobs, I secured a job at UPS in Orlando. It's a hard job, it's a demanding job and a very physical job, but I love it. I get paid a decent wage, I get a benifits package that rivals the army and I have a union to back me up should I need it. It may not be a job most would take, but I enjoy it. It's the only job I've ever had where I didn't question quitting and looking for something else. :3

Though I'm engaged, I have no family to speak of yet. Once my fiance gets a typical "9-5" we'll work on the wedding and babies.

I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was in my late teens. Then, I wanted to be an interior decorator..... I ended up being an Assistant Customer Service Manager at a grocery store... I LOVE IT!!! I also paint (oils on canvas). Bottom line is, most people don't end up doing what they planned to. As long as you are happy with your work, 'tis all that matters!

Currently I am a Technician for Taylor Brothers Inc. The company I work for cleans kitchen hoods, ductwork, and blowers. We also clean cooling towers and return air units for hospitals and some hotels. It is a really dirty job at times. (Try cleaning a Burger King... xd ) One thing I like about this job is that it's physical. Sometimes I will be carrying over 80 pounds on my back up flights of stairs or up wall mounted roof access ladders. I also get to work with a few of my friends I went to High School with.

My cousin just became a corrections officer...

As for myself, I worked at Media Play for 5 1/2 years, right up until they closed. Now I work in the Materials Management department of Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I'm currently running two of the off-site mailrooms. As much as I used to complain about Media Play (especially at Christmas time), I've realized I actually liked it there. My current job is ok, it pays the bill's and has great benefits, but it's not something I enjoy. I love languages and hope to one day become a linguist. I speak a little bit of Spanish and even less Japanese, but languages intrigue me, if I could just find the time and patience to learn them. Now I just need to get my butt in gear and go to college sweatdrop

I have someone coming in tonight at midnight to clean mine.. I am a McDonald's Store Manager. I have watched them work. Some people would be surprised to see all that grease.

Like Gypsy Rose, I'm 22 and am working on a college degree.. .mine should only take me another year and a half.

I'm at the University of Cincinnati studding Information Systems out of the College of business with a Focus in Digital Business, and possibly adding German as a minor.

I've been working since I was in gradeschool and must say I'm worn out. Started out mowing my neighbor's lawn, then added babysitting, and the after school work program at my highschool. Those kinda fell out gradually when I got my first 'real' job at Media Play (with Chrystiana) started as a Cashier, ended up staying there for 3 1/2 years as a Lead Cashier until I started on Co-op in 2004.

At one point I worked 3 part time jobs at a time before I started Co-oping, Media Play, UCit (the student computer labs at my college), and as a evening secretary at my Parish's Rectory. All the while taking 18 credit hours and finding some sort of time to spend with my then very demanding boyfreind.

Finally I whittled it down to just my Co-op, which I work year round. In talking to one of my boss's the other day we figured out that the title I could have if UC didn't stick to "Student worker" or "Co-Op" is "Systems Administrator."

I love the variety(I can do Human Resourses, tech work, tech support, database monkeying, or even programming all in one day), and my co-workers .. . and am experiencing much anxiety over the thought of leaving them Summer quarter in search of another Co-op that would give me the possibility of a job after graduation.

Overall, I'm sick of work and school at the moment (mainly the former) and just want to be able to work 9-5, and not worry about the homework I'm not doing ever again.
