First off this whole Micha reversal thing.. CHEEZY! CHA CHA CHA CHEEZEH!
Secondly. It will probably be Richard's. Itseems as though our author likes to make richard's life seem to turn for the better then collapse around his ears so he can brood.
In all likely hood. They'll say it's richards and then she'll lose it.
OR it's simply a scare.

It's cheezy because it's a dumb excuse. The author wouldn't make a character safe and then suddenly out of left field say "Oh btw. he's not sterile"
It would destroy the character, he's the safe one that's what makes him perfect.

Perhaps that's the point, though. Not everyone loves Micah's perfectness, makes him seem rather Mary Sueish. Although it would be pretty... soap-opera-ish.

With the way Anita has changed throughout the series and since I've read it all within three weeks, I could see her having a child and keeping it. With limits. *dies from certain spoiler*

I dunno... whether or not Micah DID have a vascetomy, he IS a lycanthrope. Which means he heals. Who's to say it didn't heal? And birth control still lets you have your period, in fact it regulates it for most people. But after a few years one can become immune to it. And again, lycanthropes arn't as suceptible to drugs. So with all the furry blood in Anita and the healing powers of Micah, it could be his. Could be Nathanial's. But most likely it's Richard's. Because it was such a dramatic build up and LKH doesn't do dramatic build ups and plot twists right next to each other usually. So it probably IS Richard's. Damn his healthy sperm. Damn them all.
But I say the baby tries to shift and she looses it. That's the problem everyone else is having in the furry community.
Or Anita went sterile! For some unknown reason yet to be told... and then she goes from worrying about a baby to being depressed that she hit menopause so soon and can never have kids.
o.O It could happen.

I don't think she can have a child can she? I remember in the crash course on baby making 101 when it comes to lycanthropes, the women can't have children, or can't carry it to term because of the super hot temperature their body runs at. Since we know Anita carries lycanthropy (several strains) and that her body temperature is more like that of a lycanthrope than a human, plus whatever other mystical s**t messes with her body, I'd say its nearly impossible for Anita to have a baby. The fetus would be miscarried, or stillborn I think.
IF She did manage to have a baby I could see the men playing a bigger role in raising the child than her. I don't know that she'd make a good mother since she always manages to get herself neckdeep in violent cases. I could see Damien, Jean Claude, or Asher taking care of the child at night and then Micah and Nathaniel taking turns with it during the day, possibly Jason as well, he'd be the mischevious "uncle" Richard would probably snap and go back to his insane little world where everything is wrong but him, and blame Anita for everything. I could see the pard being a big part of the child's life as well. I would think the child would move around a lot so that it wasn't left as a hazard to when baddies find their way to Anita's house. I can also see her catching s**t since you know she won't play a big part of the child's life immediatley. And she'll still have to continue with the rampant sex, so that presents a few more problems what with third term and all. *shrug*
I just don't see it happening.

youngshorty She's able to have the baby because she's still human. She posseses the traits of the lyconthropes and vampires alike but she's still genetically human. Actually, she doesn't. She HAS lycanthropy. Wolf, leopard, lion and..some other kind. The doc in Micah TOLD her that her blood was positive and that she's actaully caught the disease, but somehow she didn't change. Now, the question is, does the disease carry over into a baby? I think Nathanial would make a AWESOME daddy! 3nodding

Actually i believe in one of the books she says sorry to JC and says she's just pmsing. But yes it would totally screw the story line but then again maybe it wouldn't since the story could go on years later in the next book after and be about her child? I've read a few books like this actually where it'd be one person in the first book then that person's child in the next.
So really you never know she could have the child and such and we might just go on from her to the kid in the next books!
o.O better be Nathaniels. Richard can die and burn babe.

Micah's fixedness cant be reversed. He explains in Danse Macabre that when he had it done he had them put silver clips to secure that it didnt reverse. & we all know ne thing with silver basically cant be reversed. So NO, Micah can no way in this life time be the father....tho its really sad & i wish he coulda been a canidate & all but i respect y he did it & hate Chimera all the much more..stupid psychotic b*****d.
& I do agree that i think Nathaniel should be the father becuz Richard wouldnt be able to adjust his schedule to take care of it nor could Anita so either Nathaniel or Micah would have to take care of it & Richard wouldnt be able to stand that either...**know these for a fact- Thanks to Danse Macabre**

I mean, she doesn't seem like the type to
raise a family, but throughout the books
you can tell she has a soft-spot for the kiddies.
I think her kid would grow up to be just as witty
and brave as Anita herself. ^__^

It shouldn't of been Richard for the sole fact he was such a jackass about it, thinking he could tie Anita to him by knocking her up.

In the case of anita, i don't think she would let herself to begin with, but if she did, She would probably give it up for adoption, or lose it, i don't think she is the abortion type, at least i would hope not, it would kinda go against her character you know?i would hope it isn't richards, like i said ireally don't like him^^

And Anita doesnt have to give the baby a bottle in the middle of the night, each night. Jean Claud and Asher will take good care of the little half Human, Half Vampire, Half Wolf, Half Leopard, Half Necromancer, Half Quezacolt, Half Faye mrgreen
When growing up, if a girl, at age 12 - 16 she will be taken away to somewhere else, or she might be eaten alive once a month by the wolveswait.....Anita cant have a baby.... eek When in the whole series, does she have a freakin Period?!?!? scream
