Tambry had been excited for the end of the year. Sure, she wouldn't see her friends every day, especially the ones that were graduating, but she was very excited to see her parents. They were finishing a ballet tour in the states and should be home tonight. She busied herself in her prefect work on the train, though she stopped by to check on her friends - and her boyfriend - when she'd pass their cabins. Once the train got to the platform, her phone promptly started to buzz. It was a few missed calls and several missed texts from her parents. Apparently they would be stuck in the states another few days. She relayed that to Kavi, saying she could just go home and hang out alone until they got back, but he insisted on asking his parents if she could come over there, at least for dinner.
Thankfully, his Baba had agreed. With careful apparation, the group landed at the Bhattacharyya house. Before she could move, Kavi took her trunk, along with his, to his bedroom. She followed after him, smiling when he asked what she wanted to do. "Oh my goodness, yes! Their baby is so precious. And I know you've missed your brother." And possibly his new sister, but Tambry was fairly certain their relationship wasn't exactly the greatest. "Thankfully you don't have to go on a quest to find us," came a voice from the doorway. Tambry spun, seeing Csuri holding Tatiana, though the baby was making little grabby hands toward her uncle while squirming for freedom. How absolutely adorable!

As soon as he suggested that they go to find his brother, sister, and niece, they appeared in the doorway. Csuri was carrying Tati, yet she seemed to be squirming free in an attempt to reach him. The teen reached out to take his niece, smiling at the child. "Oh man, she's gotten so big so quickly!" he exclaimed, simply amazed at how quickly she'd grown. He turned to Tambry so that she could see Tatiana too. Vikram grinned and said, "Yeah, she's growing like a weed. She's already rolling over on her own and grabbing things so watch out." With that, Tatiana reached out and grabbed at Kavi's collar, trying to tug it towards her. Vikram laughed, then wrapped his arms around Csuri and held her as they watched their daughter. Kavi carefully extracted his collar from Tati's grasp since she was trying to put it into her mouth. "Do you want to hold her, Tambers?" Kavi asked, brown eyes shifting from his niece to his girlfriend.

Tambry grinned brightly when the baby reached out for Kavi. The teen reached over, gently holding Tatiana's hand and giving it a little shake. "She really has! I remember last winter. She was so tiny!" Vikram said she was rolling over and grabbing things, which was perfectly on par with the baby trying to grab Kavi's shirt collar. "We're working on sitting up, but she thinks it's fun to flop over. But she does giggle a lot," Csuri added, leaning back against Vikram. She looked tired, but honestly, Tambry couldn't blame her. Tati seemed like a ball of energy! Kavi then asked if she wanted to hold the baby, earning a bright smile. "Oh my gosh, of course!" She said, pulling a scrunchie off her wrist and tying her curls back into a quick messy bun. Reaching out, she took the baby. "Goodness, she's so cute!" Thankfully, the baby seemed content to play with the bow around Tambry's collar than anything else. "Have you guys started with baby food yet? I remember reading that it was typically 5-7 months old that it's encouraged." Tambry, not wanting to seem like an idiot around Kavi's family, had read a book or two on baby milestones, which was forever in her memory now. "We're starting on it. She goes nuts for applesauce so far." Tambry grinned, bouncing the baby in her arms. "Applesauce is super yummy," she agreed in a giggly voice while she watched the baby look around for more things to explore... or chew on.

Kavi listened as Csuri explained that they were working on getting Tatiana to sit up, but that she loved to flop over and giggle about it. Csuri seemed a little surprised that the girl loved to giggle. When he handed his niece over to his girlfriend to hold, the girl started to play with Tambry's bow, which brought a grin to Kavi's face. Vikram also seemed to grin. It was weird to see his brother being all fatherly. It seemed like just yesterday Vikram was just his big brother who played video games and obsessed over Quidditch and now he was a father. And from the looks of it, a pretty good one too. Tambry asked them if they'd moved her to baby food and Csuri answered that they were starting too and that Tatiana loved applesauce. Kavi reached out and brushed Tati's hair. "She looks so much like you, Behan," Kavi said, glancing nervously over at Csuri. He wondered how she'd react to being called sister by him. It was still weird for him to be calling her sister, but he had to get used to it since Vikram seemed to be really attached to her. Plus, she did seem a lot different at home than when she was at school. Everyone thought she was mean and closed off, but Kavi'd seen her smile, laugh, and even do that little snort thing. She was more... human. And she was a fantastic cook! Like, how did she hide that the whole time they were at school?!? Vikram chuckled and added, "But she's got my eyes, at least. No question she's ours." He gave his wife a little squeeze and kissed her cheek.

Moving gently, Tambry worked on bouncing the baby, though the girl seemed way more interested in chewing on her bow. Brown eyes glanced over at Csuri and Vikram, who definitely looked like they'd been busy. Probably with their baby, since she seemed to have a lot of energy. Of course, Tatiana was very happy to wiggle about, playing with the bow. Thankfully, Tambry had tied her hair back, otherwise she feared it may go in the baby's mouth. "Crazy, right? I was hoping she'd look more like Vikram, but I think she just has his energy level." Csuri said, leaning against Vikram. The baby was looking between her hands, the bow, and Kavi, almost like she was deciding what she wanted to do. "Her curls are just precious. It's also growing really fast... I think." Admittedly Tambry hadn't been around very many babies before. Tatiana babbled happily, her wide brown eyes studying her uncle.
Vikram commented on her eyes, which were indeed very similar to his - and Kavi's. "They do look like you. Unfortunately everything else looks like me. Which is weird, right? Genetics are odd." Tambry grinned a bit when she noticed Vikram place a kiss on Csuri's cheek. She had certainly mellowed out since school. Tati flopped back, looking at her parents while upside-down. Tambry scooped her back up, earning a bubbly laugh from the baby. Naturally, the teen helped her do it again, if only for the laughter. "Oh, and Bhai, I'm making dinner tomorrow, but I'm planning on starting early. Just make sure I know if I need to make a vegetarian portion too, okay? I'm not sure your plan." Csuri glanced over at Tambry, but the younger girl simply shrugged. Her parents likely wouldn't be home until Monday, but she didn't want to impede on the Bhattacharyyas' kindnesses. Before she could question it, the baby reached over for Kavi again, babbling to him instead.
