Avari stumbled as quick to his feet as he could, awkwardly nursing some wounds caused early in this match.
With the crowd behind him, he now had to keep up the pressure, the momentum, and do something amazing.
Fusion would try to hoist Omen up and onto the announcer's table.. and if that worked, he would then make his way back into the ring, and slowly up the turnbuckle..

In the haste, it showed that Avari was maybe too eager or trying to use his time effectively and slipped up. But hoisting up Omen against and slightly atop the table was the mistake he made here.
Because when Avari slowly hoisted him up and began to make his way to the ring and turnbuckle, Omen began to pick himself back up. Getting to and a top the apron, and throw a wrench in the plans of Avari who was now a top the turnbuckle. Looking to grab him by his throat once more!

Oh.. no.
Avari had a plan in mind, an action that could have ended this match here and now.
Omen, however, had different plans - and, once again, had his massive meaty paw around Avari's throat.

"Get back in the ring!"
The official would yell, but both men were in a total different place in this moment. Staring out, Omen looked at the table that Avari had planned to put him through. Staring back at Avari, he would adjust his body on the apron. Prepping to make Avari a crash course dummy.

Avari was like a deer in headlights, unable to move. A massive hand around his throat, and his initial reaction was to grip that big arm with both of his hands.
Shaking his head as he made eye contact with the Freak, he then aimed a hard stomp down onto Omen's boot. Which he would look to then follow up with a knee to the gut.

Despite the circumstance Avari was in, even if it was a bit delayed, he came back to his senses. Immediately throwing some strikes. First a stomp once again, and then a knee to the gut. Both were hard to dodge seeing both men were on the apron.
Each strike would hit as Omen maintained the grip around the throat of Avari, a bit unsteady on the apron as he stands there, slightly hunched over from the knee.

The moment was now, it had to be, else Omen would take control and end this match.
With Omen's hand still on his throat, Avari started backing up towards the steel steps, slowly but surely.
He breathed deep, leaped up, and aimed to grab Omen's neck and bring him down on the steps/mats with a hard DDT!

Avari either lucked out or is a tactical genius within and outside the ring. Basically within the jaws of defeat, he fought back and delivered a nasty DDT that would leave most men broken, let alone out of the fight.
The sound was nasty, the visual was nasty, everything about it was ugly. But it was a gamechanger that Avari needed. But how much of the bump did he take in the making?

Avari had pulled it off, he had actually pulled that off.. and that was quite possibly one of the highlights of the night!
With his own maneuver he had landed hard against the steel and mats outside, and laid not far away from Omen, clutching his lower back and groaning in pain.
The ref had implored both men to enter the ring again, but was ignored.. now, he begun his count.
"One!"

Two!
Despite earlier warnings, the official just finally started his count, and finally Omen made some movement.
Coughing and hacking out, Omen seemed to finally be breathing against after the wind was knocked out of him from the nasty bump. Shielding his face now, it seems the Freak wasn't all there.

Avari shifted his weight and rolled onto one side, still nursing his back. The fans nearby reached down to try and touch him, to try and help him up, or to motivate him to keep going.
Taking a noticeable breath in he looked to his side, and then spotted Omen in some kind of trouble.

The coughing and gagging turned into grunting. The Champion was heard audibly pushing himself. Beginning to make movement, but it was slow and not very effective.

Avari removes his hand from his back and punches the ground a couple of times, grunts, and slowly drags himself up to a standing position.
The crowd around him cheered on as their hero was back to a standing base. He clambered towards the ring apron, ready to enter.
"Six!"

Straining himself just to move, Omen finally got on to his shoulder and pushed himself on to his hands and knees. But the ring was a decent distance. Breathing heavily, Omen began to crawl toward the ring.

Avari could win the match by count out, but that World Heavyweight Championship wouldn't change ******** got to the ring apron as the ref called out..
"Eight!"
Into the ring he slid, and out he rolled again.. the ref wasn't happy, but Avari didn't care.
He came here to win that gold, and to take it home for the fans.
