 Lancelot and Mordred listened to what she was saying." I see will we have about 100 horses right now with about 50 to 60 more arriving through out tomorrow we also have a few bowmen that can be added to your peoples forces Sir tristan is in charge of them and Sir Arthur is in charge of the knights who are on foot and Sir Gawain is in charge of our cavalry and is the most skilled knight here besides Arthur,Mordred and my self."He informed her and sense Arthur seemed to trust this woman he would be willing to do the same.

Gwenhwyfar Gwen thought about there forces and began to contemplate her face lost in thought,"about 160 horses.. but i'm assuming that includes our knights on ground...", she looked up at them,"Sir Gawain what do you think is the most efficient area to set up the Calvary charge? I say about a quarter of our soldiers could be the horsemen and we could use it as a way to thin out lines or refresh when the foot soldiers are being worn through", she explained,"when we begin to loose to many forces on the ground we can call a retreat and have the Calvary come in to help thin out the lines"; She turned to Tristan,"Sir Tristan when you have a moment of your time I would like to discuss with you where we could set up the archery forces";

Gawain looked up form the map.and then points to a bath that was just wide enough to fit three horses side by side before it opened up to the back of where the enemy would be coming form." If we use this path we could come up behind them and rush them form the rear,and with there forces already under attack form the archers they wouldn't notice us approaching before it was to late.How ever it would only be a one time sneak attack then we can releave the foot solders."He says as Tristan nods his head." Yes it would be best to have a good plan and not just set up blindly."He says and the knights all look up and nod." It seems Arthur was right to ask you for help in this fight your lay of the is far batter then ours."Mordred says with a grin.

Gwenhwyfar Gwen nodded her agreement,"For sure... I think perhaps we should make a few groups here...", she showed him the line along the inner rim of the entrance, "We should have a set in the back here...I think it would be good to apply pressure before we commence combat by firing shots from this point", she explained,"It will keep the enemy focused on these archers instead of those hiding", she then answered mordred,"I was born and raised in ebbing.. I wasn't allow to enjoy the sunshine as many other children do only in the gaps between the trees... the filtering of the soft green light..", she paused,"before the foreign invasion our people used to be free roam these lands and it was taken from us by force many died in fights.. and many women were burned for being a witch", she picked up her staff,"The pagan religion is frowned upon I am aware you think us evil and preforming black magic but this we do not we only worship our goddess and god in our ceremonious ways...", she turned,"Tell pendragon I will be by in the evening when the sun is setting I bid you all a good day", she knelt her head in acknowledgement to them all and pulling her hood upon her dark hair turned and left the building;

When Gwen got up to head out every knight in the room stood up straight and put a hand over there chest."Have a safe trip."Said Lancelot and once she was gone the knights started to work on the plans brought forth even getting things ready to start building the towers. Arthur woke up to the smell of food being cooked and he got up and dressed him self,he then joined the knights outside and takes a deep breath of the food and was quickly informed on what was brought up and he smiles."It would seem we have our selfs a strong friend indeed."He says before,heading to the dueling ring with Lancelot and the two drew there blades and started a friendly duel and with every clash of swords more people joined as people cheered them on.

Gwenhwyfar Made her way back she was greeted by a concerned group of councilors,"Gwenhwyfar he is gone", her eyes widened in shock,"what do you mean gone?!", she demands finding herself trembling in fright had he died while she had been away? it had only been a few hours he wasn't even sick!! They shook there heads,"He has left his bed we aren't sure where he is", said one,"Send out a scout ask anyone without being to suspicious", they all nod and off she went racing through the woods in search for her father; She had raced through the woods in the setting sun coming to the river she seen someone stumbling along the path; The man slipped on the edge and tumbled into the water Gwen screamed and ran after him; The water dragged him under and she stood on the edge of the water feeling fear for the first time in her life she didn't know how to swim!! She seen a log over the water racing to it to get ahead she tried reach down to gather her father she managed to grab his soggy clothes trying to haul him onto the log; She felt a creak and she looked up just as her friends came through the trees<,"HELP!!", she yelled out to them as they ran towards her just then the weight of the log gave out and she and her father went under in the rapid waters.... The current dragged them down stream into more rapids gwen had no choice but to let go of her father or she would drown it was fight or die in the water now.. she kicked upwards clinging to what remained of the log as it carried her down stream towards into the large part of the river; Meanwhile everyone was running up and down the river screaming someone had enough sense to go into town and tell arthur; Fastest runner ran into the encampment just as lancelot and arthur were finishing there sparing match as He dropped infront of them,"gwen...", he sucked in a breathe trying to breathe,"In the river... help her..."; He began to cough uncontrollably as he tried to catch his breathe;

when Arthur heard what the man was saying Arthur just said." Go now."He yells and every knight headed off to the river following the sound of screams of the others and Arthur seen Gwen and just dove into the water with full armor and Lancelot followed right behind him and got her father and used his sword to stick in the ground to stop them form going farther down river and started pulling her father out of the water and Arthur grabs Gwen around her waste and pulls her back up above the water and like Lancelot did he stuck his sword into the river side and starts using one arm to pull her out of the water.

Gwenhwyfar Gwen found it hard to stay on the slippery log she wanted to stay above the water so badly but it was getting harder and harder she kept screaming out for help, "Someone help me.." , she thought desperately she seen a flash of armor and a blonde head as Arthur pulled up next to her feeling his arm around her waist she managed to looked over her shoulder as he kept them both up above the water she watched as her father was pulled out further down the river as Lancelot tried to help them out once she was on her dry land she grabbed the grass and heaved up the remains of the river water out of her body throwing up and coughing profusely; Everyone was standing round worried blabbering on and on in there language many had already went to check on her father as she tried to catch her breathe trembling as she tried to catch her breathe and take in the realization she was alive;

Once Gwen pulled her self form the water Arthur did the same and he him self was coughing but he got up as fast as he could and runs over to her father and Found Lancelot helping him out,the man was at lest breathing but seemed to not know what was going on.

Gwenhwyfar Gwen's father lay there mumbling something as he seemed to have a distant look and it took everything in her to get off her feet and stumble over to him, "Arthur wait..." she said quietly as she slumped next to him and Lancelot, "Please dont...", she whispered looking up at him with tears in her eyes ,"Don't tell them..", she whispered , "They dont need to know..."; She chocked back her tears and covered her face in shame as everyone around her began to talk finally a few of the younger ones stepped forward, "We would like to take Gwenhwyfar and Our master back home now...", the younger man shook his head, "Our people will worry if they aren't home soon..", he said with a cough bending down a group of younger men picked up the older man and put him on a straw mat carrying him with them as Gwen's friends came over offering there hand, "Come on Gwen its time to go home", said one in there native tongue;

Arthur was just checking to see if the man was hurt but he seemed fine other then his mumbling and when Gwen got to them he held a hand up in understanding and then the others joined them." I would ask to let us look after him but I understand."He says as he moves away so they can take him and he looks over at Gwen." Go now your people will need you now more then ever."He says as he leans against a tree and Lancelot sits next to him both me where soked and still fighting for air form water they inhaled but other then that they where fine and the knights across the water waved and they waved them off.

Gwenhwyfar Gwenhwyfar took gavin's hand as he led her back into the woods back into home she would walk a long way that night to get back to her home talking with the council men and finally they had to come to a descion more people had to know what was going on; A large meeting was held before the people when they found out Gwen had been leading them for the past 4 years they were shocked some of them were even angry and demanded to know why they are tricked; Finally after a long time of being shamed by her people and seeing the disappointment in there eyes Gwen would sit vigil for the next 2 days as punishment for her lies... she did this to also ask blessings from the goddess as she prayed; The dawn of the 3rd morning and she was allowed to rise as the new leader she stood up accepted the ceremonial accessories and was proclaimed the new tribe leader; She was then told she would have to take an escort with her into town and she would have to be more careful she would never be allowed to travel alone without warriors her days of freedom were over; On the 5th night it was very misty and she managed to slip away wearing a white dress... anyone who saw her would think she was a lady from the neighboring village; She wore a dark hood as she approached town the guards felt abit spooked by her mesmerizing appearance, "Take me to Arthur Pendragon..", she said quietly as they weren't sure who it was seemed hesitant but when the figure didnt move they assumed it was a neighboring lady perhaps; One of the guards tapped on Arthrus bed room seeing as it was late at night and said, "Uh My lord... there is a noble lady here to see you...";

It has been five days sense Gwen had stepped foot in the town and in that time one house has been built thanks to the men and even the knights putting in work and they even had the towers set up or mostly up after the house they focused on the defenses of the town and now there where a lot more knights who where all set up in tents and Arthur was in his room reading reports of the troops coming there way and it did seem he was right about the king not leading his own men but the good thing is that they didn't have much of a calvery or many archers for that matter there forces consisted of mostly foot solders it seems there king didn't think this was worthy of a true army." You may enter."He says when he hears the knock and he looks up and sees Gwen and waves the knights away." Leave us."He says and he stands up." I was starting to think something happened to you,I am glad you are ok,and how is that old man."He asks not knowing it was her father.

Gwen removed her hood and walks in she looked rather tired still not fully recovering from her near drowning and 72 hours vigil afterwards,"My father is fine", she told him, she walked over to his desk and leaned against it with a graceful hand she picked up some of the papers,"I wish I knew what this meant...", she said quietly,"Seems I don't know everything yet...", she looks up towards him her expression sorrowful,"Arthur some big things have happened.. I just managed to slip away...", she then paused and sat the paper down,"Will you hear me out... without judgement?", she said lowering her head;

Arthur looked at her and smiles before standing up and offering his chair to her." Please sit you look tired."He says as he then answered her on the papers." Will in short the army coming this way is near laughable,the army is mostly foot solders and no calvery to speak of and few archers,and its being lead by the kings oldest son this is to be his first battle."He says before looking at her." by all means Gwen speak your mind."He says as he pours some tea for them both.
