There was vast amounts of crystals in the village. Who's to say who was in there or if it was simply crystals. They had learnt to leave the crystals be. Yet, one shattered as a female fell. She was panting as she yelped and stood up fast but was met with a dizzy spell as stars were rather bright. Panicked, she moved to the left. Then to the right, she was confused. Where was the snow? Where was the cold? Where was she? Her hands went up to her neck, she remembered what happened last... she was captured. She was going to be killed. Her blue hues glanced around at the slightly empty village as she noticed a massive old wall to her right. Her eyes dart up and she couldn't tell how tell it stood just from sitting here.
Her heart rate was slowing down. She was increasingly becoming bewilder at each moment. Her ears were rotating before it flatten at the base of her skull. What.. was going on? Why does she remember the last thing before waking up here? With a soft whining growl, she got up as she gently touched the tower, her fingertips touching the cool moist walls. Then she heard it, screeching. Her ears perked up at the noise. She went to walk but then her leg had bump into something. It was a bag. Slightly tilted head, she squatted down and opened the bag to look at the contents inside. Supplies. Even a breastplate. What.. was going on? Was this hers? She looked around and see more of the cyrstal pieces and judging to where she was standing and where the bag was, she figured that yes, it must be hers.
Were her kidnappers playing some kind of sick joke? Then she heard it again. The screeching of a bird. Inside the tower. Was some poor animal trapped? Her hand grasped the strap of the bag as she threw it over her shoulder, she head inside the tower. The moment the blue jewels saw more people, her heart jumped as her chest tighten. She hated to be in the unknown.

Tatsuki groaned as she was being led down to the first level of the tower by the person behind her. - Flashback to a few minutes ago- "HELLO!? Is there someone in here!?" "Yes, and I am VERY annoyed by your wracked noice" Tatsuki turned around to see a small teenish boy with a set of halfmoon glasses looking over her and wierdish robes before continuing, "You shouldn't be up here without permission, Who sent you?" "Nobody, I just sorta... woke up out fo a crystal buddy. I gotta say I dont like that tone though. Gotten nothin been distaste sense I got here, You, the guards outside. Its like, what, you at war or something?" Tatsuki looked at the librarian with a furrowed brow before he looked back at her with a scowl before saying "Look, I will escort you back downstairs and get you a receptionist till then, zip the lip." - flash back over-
Tatsuki looked back to the librarian before looking to Hakaze and gently petting his head. As soon as she reached the first floor though the door behind her closed off and she was once again left alone, but not for long it seemed. across the way she saw a interesting person a blue eyed silver haired maiden with... cat ears? Dog ears? she had no clue but it definitely caught her attention. Tatsuki looked to Hakaze and said,
"Go over there and assess the situation from above I'll go in face to face." Hakaze looked at her and screeched once before flying up towards a comfortable height between the ceiling and the floor. tatsuki put her focused back on the demi human and slowly approached her and said, "Hey are you okay miss? You look a little pale.." She began to inch her way over to her and say, "Did.. did you just wake up?
________________The Narrator Tinkers...|| tab As the pair made their way into the tower they appeared to lose track of the meeting table where a tall woman, thin with horns that curled up from her temples, watched them over a pair of wooden reading glasses from her tall backed chair. Wearing a floor length dress with silver buttons from bottom to top she kept her gaze fixed upon them as they made their introductions. With two double doors leading into the building and her assistant having ushered the boy into the room it was clear that both were highly new to this place, at least in some manner. She'd not met them, and she had a memory for faces and names few could beat. tab When they stood in silence for several moments she cleared her throat, her voice deep for a woman but strong enough to carry across the hall. "Welcome, children," she began, ignoring the fact that despite her voice and height she was barely older than either as far as physically goes. "Please approach. I will not bite."
She finally saw it. Her tail swished low but rather fast as if hunting. Was she to take down the bird and eat it? She could not. Despite her hunger towards the creature, it seemed closed to a human being. She was no fool. In a foregin place of the unknown, it would be dumb to attack something right now. It was then the bird flew off as the cool blue eyes of hers watched it, her hand gribbed the strap of her pack rather tightly. Her ears twitched when she heard the bird's owner footsteps close to her. It was then she started to apporach as the fox let out a low hiss under her breath. Of course she was pale. SHe was an artic fox. But then, her ears perked up and the hissing stopped as the eyes her body seemed to 'perk' up more at the question if she just woke up. "Yes. Where am-" She halted. It seemed that they were going to be guided to somewhere.
For a moment, she paused, considering and thinking. Should she really follow them? The blue jewels glanced towards the different kind of exits that she could take right now. She needed answers. Reluctionay, she followed. Her steps were light, her ears twitching and listening as her tail remained stiff. Once they went to a rather long hall with a big table... a meeting perhaps? There was a weird creature. Tall woman with thin horns curcled up. What... what was she. The creatured had asked for them to apporach as she did not. Her ears flatten to the base of her skull as her puipls dilated. She was not going to approach. Her grip on the pack strap was so tight, her knuckles were white.

Tatsuki looked at the curious girl as she hissed at her at first, maybe a warning? then when she talked about waking up the hissing stopped and her demenor changed and was about to ask a question herself when suddenly a stranger approached them. The thing curled horns on her head suggested another demi human, though her age seemed curiously more older in appearance. Tatsuki looked over at the pale gil and sighed and said,
"Listen lady, we haven't had the best reception around hear, I got harassed at the gate when I came in and she obviously doesn't trust us strangers. Could you maybe just tell us out here where there is... space I'm sure one of those lovely benches need to be warmed by someones rear dont you think?" Tatsuki may have been trying to play cool but in all honesty she was just as nervous and on guard as the pale demi girl behind her. The only reason she had such calm focus was because Hakaze was hovering in the air above them gazing so that he could swoop down at any moment.
Tatsuki Slowly backed up to the pale girls side and said while rifling through her pockets, "Here, you're probably hungry right? this is some jerky help yourself" Tatsuki smiled softly knowing that i must've been strange waking up.. alone, with no one to tell you what was going on. Slowly Tatsuki tried to guide the pale one to a bench in the hall and sit her down. Hakaze descended infront of the girls and screeched a little softly.
"This is Hakaze, he's my partner in crime so to speak. I'm Tatsuki, what are your names?" Tatsuki would ask assuming they had followed her to the nearby bench, if not just standing there was a bit strange for her, comforting a stranger while being asked to follow another stranger. bizarre.

tab
[ T ]ravel to the Watcher's Point was never a long or laborious process, since the tower stuck out from the center of the village much like the spoke of a wheel. Still, there was enough time to answer some questions. The last question asked by the near-blind boy was where this place was, where he found himself. As they neared the entrance to the tower, ever present, he deigned to answer. "In short, you're in what is known as Kokorogakure, the Hidden Heart Village," he began, his tone lacking in anything other than casualness. "A name from the old days of the Shinobi, not yet changed to the new laws of language. We are where once, long ago, Kirigakure no Sato called its borders before the final lord of the hidden mist village, Hesrik, expanded its borders. As far as compared to the rest of the world..." Falling silent he let the answer fall, for he knew not how to answer. tab Outside of the village they lay in, and the surrounding lands, Hesrik knew nothing of the world and its current whereabouts. In the few talks they'd had the Anzu had hinted that they had agents all across the world, and more importantly, ran the trade system this world utilized. But that required negotiation, which this pair had stalled for the moment. As noted previously this would benefit him in the long run but it left little in the way of opportunity to get stronger, as he so dearly desired. Knowledge, power, they were intertwined, but knowledge of the world itself was paramount to the lynch pin of victory. Without it he was sorely lacking. tab As they walked he began to explain further to the two of what they had learned. They were in the same world they'd always known, but changed, far in a future where chakra had given rise to Mana, a force that could change every aspect of creation they left nearly all impossibilities as relatively possible. They had met new species which governed the world now, and though they lacked in technology they were sophisticated in their own way, and dangerous to boot. In short the human population had begun to awake, all under the age of sixteen, and they were only not gaining ground in reestablishing themselves in a world that had evolved in their absence. tab The village they stood in was founded by him and a companion, though only he ruled now. Attempting to bring back a past that until recently had been forgotten wasn't easy, though their university had made strives in relearning some of the old Jutsu, now changed into Spells. New rules of magic meant the Jutsu of old were all but defunct unless they learned to use Magic as it was now, which meant many technologies easily accessed before that were fueled by chakra had to be modified to work with current day Mana as a fuel source. tab It was this that he stopped as they entered into the hall of his home and found two others he'd never seen standing before his receptionist, a young Stragari named Aluria. From the look she cast his way she was annoyed, but not overly so, else she would have beaten them into the ground. As a Titan her role failed to resemble her strengths, which meant as a first line of defense she was not only necessary but treasured. Lifting his hand to gesture that she may relax and that he would take care of it he cast his gaze towards the other two and nodded, the lower mask upon his face hiding his mouth making it difficult to know just how he took their presence. "It seems I was mistaken," he whispered in the relative silence of the room, his quiet, raspy voice carrying from the architecture of the structured floor. "There were others needing of instruction of which I did not know. Greetings, young children." tab Purposefully he ignored the eagle, though only on the surface. All around him he could feel the presence of the Shard that served him, and it was to she he left the monitoring of the avian beast. If it moved untowardly she wound handle it. In the meantime he waited, watching, for either the two that approached with him to say something or for the two newcomers to speak to him. tab

Her eyebrow rose slightly. It seemed the other woman who had appeared to be awoken had quite the mouth and courage about her. Although, courage wasn't always a good thing, it can get you in dangerous spots that you shouldn't be in. The female had stood by her and she heard noises. She even was able to smell the food before it had appeared as she snatched it and sniffed it couple of times. To be sure that it was safe to eat and consume. Once she assumed that it was, she started to eat it and felt grateful. "Thank you..." She murmed slightly. She honestly didn't like to say thanks that much but she was truely grateful for this.
The female had asked for names as she paused for a moment. Her name was Tatsuki and the loud bird was called Hakaze. "Alasia. A man, wearing a mask and hood so deep that she could barely see his eyes as she didn't like that. Eyes were windows to the soul after all. He started to explain where they were. Kokorogakure? No that's not- her mind stopped aruptduly when he had brought up this place was once called Kirigakure. Kirigakure.. it sound familiar... More names were appearing and they were just as confusing. Mizukage. Assassination. Hmm. Odd. Maybe this place wasn't so bad but why can't she see his eyes? Shinobi. He mentioned that earlier. Chewed the last piece of the jerky, she crossed her arms and deep in thought. Hesrik. Hesrik. Why does his name sound familiar? Was he the one that she was supposed to kill?

With the introduction of yet another man of this village they at least got some answers at this point. A village hidden in.. the heart? that doesnt sound like it made much sense to her, but the name is the name. Speaking of names though it was quiet but she heard the name of the pale girl, Alasia as she thanked tatsuki for the food. Tatsuki looked on up to Hakaze and called him down so that the raptor could perch on her shoulder for a bit of rest after hovering for a while. Tatsuki looked at the hooded man who called himself heserik and narrowed her eyes. Walking up to the man with confidence Tatsuki looked him up and down before nodding,
"SO, Sir im going to guess you're the leader then? could you help me and.. Alasia here? Your village is the first contact of people i've met in three weeks sense I woke up. If you could, Sir, I think we'd both want to know whats going on, whats happened sense we where 'asleep' i guess is the term. After that I dont know about her... But I would like to know where the citizen application is." Hakaze looked at her an screeched for a moment as Tatsuki looked at him, "Look partner, I told you I would be settling in the first town we came across and now here we are. Do you WANT to travel another three weeks to a different village hoping they have the same things this guy has here? Even I can see the sophistication and detail that's been put into this place."
With that Hakaze looked toward the masked leader with a eagles sharp eye. Tatsuki looked up at the man and didn't wait for a answer as she went back to Alasia and pulled out three more pieces of jerky handing one to her, one to Hakaze, and then starting on one herself. Tatsuki had to face facts, this place seemed way more advance then anywhere else in the world thus far she had seen and the more advanced you are, the more powerful you are which meant the more resources you have. The only thing she could try now was prove she was a potential useful member of the community... that and make a new friend in this girl Alasia seeing as she seemed to be in the same boat.
「XXXX Finn listened quietly as Oragor again explained they were in Kokorogakure, a name derived off of a past of shinobi. Like ninja shinobi? He wasn't too sure, but regardless, it sounded like he was a long way from home. Wherever 'home' was. That part was fuzzy, too. The place was once known as Kirigakure no Sato, but beyond that the man didn't know how to explain where it lay compared to the rest of the world. At least Finn wasn't the only one unsure then.
Finn's gaze wandered around them as Oragor explained what had become of the world, watching various blobs of color, some of which were hard to distinguish whether they were people or objects. Already, thankfully, his senses were beginning to adjust, if only a little so that, while he wasn't clear on where he was, he at least got some sense of the space around him. The sounds people speaking as they passed, the smells of food from a restaurant or vendor, the feel of the damp air that made his mess of hair and his cloths cling to him. He couldn't help wondering if reaching out was helping him cope with the flood of information he was getting, but he was able to ignore the pang of sorrow he was stricken with when he found out that it was possibly hundreds of years since he last knew. That meant those girls were almost guaranteed to be dead. If they'd even survived everything the three of them had endured.
Some of the information was interesting, too. Magic, non-human species, a world where there was no technology. The man had founded a town for the lost children waking in a strange new world to survive. Steps had been taken in the direction of restoring the old world, but not very much time had passed yet, so the process was slow.
By that point, they had entered a building, a town hall by the sounds of it that was also a tower. Finn's guide stopped just inside, and he couldn't help noticing a stir in the reddish aura that made up Oragor's form in his eyes. Beyond him, there were three other colorful humanoid forms. He mentioned that there were apparently others that needed explanations like the one he'd given Finn. He wasn't entirely sure he was ready to face the reality of that explanation again, but he said nothing for the time being, instead waiting in silence as everyone else present interacted. He was fine with fading into the background again for the time being. XXXX」

[ C ]hatty, at least one of them appeared to be. Silent and reserved the other, though given her appearance it wasn't difficult to see why. Ears like a fox, with strange inhuman features, it didn't take long for Hesrik to remember the reports he'd attained of originally human people suddenly gaining animal qualities both physical and mental without any clear indication of how. A week, no more, and already the number had risen alarmingly high, but it was but one in many reports of similar experiences. Experiences felt across the entirety of their land, and even within the ranks of the Anzu unless he missed his guess. Turning careful eyes to the loudmouth he listened intently while keeping the girl within his peripherals, especially when the boy appeared to presume to speak for her. Did she let him? Was there hesitance, consternation, perhaps a bit of fright at him speaking her inner thoughts without much effort at all? Her reaction would be the most important of the two, though Hesrik did not doubt for a second there was more to the boy than he let on. tab Gesturing with one hand to the children behind him the Mizukage adjusted his grip upon the large scythe in the other as he allowed the silence to stretch on as the boy finished speaking to his avian companion. From the word choice he'd been presented with Hesrik was forced to believe the boy assumed he'd heard a previous introduction instead of having just arrived. Odd, given there was no indication of the sort that he'd detected. Still, the boy had continued and mentioned something about remaining there and fulfilling an application for residency. Perhaps the boy had the best of intentions but few survived as long as Hesrik did without displaying some level of caution. "You are not the first to speak with me today," he began, his voice calm, dry, as if nothing weighed upon his mind. "Nor will you be the last. While I can answer your questions in time residency isn't awarded so easily. You will need to prove yourself capable of helping, of not being a burden here. Do you think you can do that?"

The woman had quite the mouth on her. She was asking questions left and right but Alasia couldn't be angry over that. They were, in a way, resonable questions. She sniffed a few times as her eyes met with Finn's as she watched him for a moment. The scythe-weilder had spoken to them as she was puzzled and ponder for a moment. Should she trust this place? Wait. He was talking to the chatty person, not her. Did the question direct at her too? Should she stay here? Alasia wasn't sure what much she can help with but she could try. Her hues glanced out of the window for a moment. She doesn't know this world. It would be dangerous to attempt to try to go out there without getting the knowledge and information she would've needed. After some consideration, survival. Survival was important. Her hues went to meet with Hesrik's but that was hard, considering his long hair and the hood over it. She attempted to though.
She gave him a small nod.

Tatsuki looked at the tall scythe weilder with a raised brow, why wouldnt a person who lived in a place not help a community? In her past place she was taught to help those in her village so why was this even a question? Tatsuki gave the man a confident grin and held out her leather covered hand, "I think you maybe surprised of the help I can provide, Sir. Is there at least a place where we can stay as we 'prove ourselves' as you say. It would be difficult to offer our assistance sleeping on a cold hard floor." Tatsuki at this point was just seeking a bit of shelter for her, Hakaze, and her new.. Friend? Acquaintance? Whatever she was Alasia was in the same situation and it would prove both beneficial and nice to have someone in the same situation.
With that out of her mind Tatsuki continued, "Other than that, sir, What has happened? I tried to find the village of Konaha but it wasn't there, the forests and rivers have changed, and the animals of the area are slightly different. What cataclysm took place to do all this?" With that Tatsuki went to Alasia's side so that they could be together in the news delivery. Hakaze, the eagle perched on her shoulder, looked towards the quiet man standing in the back ground and screeched at him, as if acknowledging that the eagle was still watching things around the room even if his partner wasn't
「XXXX Standing so close to the man, Finn couldn't decide if he felt annoyance or something else wafting from Oragor in response to one of the others in the room. A girl, by the sounds of it. But him speaking without a shred of emotion to it was chilling. Especially at the mention of proving one's self capable enough to earn a place in the village. Finn physically flinched at that, but he was behind Oragor, so he hoped the town leader didn't notice. Were things so strict there? And what did that mean for him? A disabled, awkward boy who lacked in the mental facilities. He would be a burden for sure, a waste of resources. What did they do with people who weren't so fortunate as to earn their place? Throw them out to the wolves?
Finn wiped his sweaty palms on his pants, clutching the fabric tightly as he did his best not to draw attention to himself. Maybe if he went forgotten, he could figure out a way to exist there without reminding them he was mostly blind and pretty much helpless. With time, he was sure he'd figure out his way around; at least he could see some things, right? Or if he did get kicked out, maybe he would find somewhere else somehow that would take him in. Was there even anyone to take him in? That's what his words earlier had suggested, that they were the last living people. Some of the last, in the very--
No heartbeat. The realization shocked Finn out of his spiraling thoughts. He was practically having a panic attack. His heart should have been thrumming, trying to leap out of his chest. Instead he felt... nothing. And that made his silent panic all the worse.
The girl was speaking again, trying to reason with Oragor, looking for a place to stay until they were capable of proving themselves. She moved on to ask about the state of the world, to which Finn recalled he didn't really want to listen to again, but at least listening to someone else's voice was drawing his attention away from his horrifying discovery. Wrapping his arms around himself, he continued to wait in silence for him to be acknowledged or released. Though he wasn't entirely sure what he would do if the latter was the case. XXXX」

[ A ]s Hesrik had already made clear to the previous two he wasn't going to repeat himself. Looking at the four of them, eyes swinging to and from, the ancient arcanist considered the best solution here. Two new children, one prone to speaking up and action while the other was more silent and, given her taste, filled with some level of trepidation. Behind him, the blind boy, Finnian, reeked of sudden fear at his words of proving themselves capable of being more than a simple burden. The words were not wrong, nor their intent, but the boy's intuition was understandably flawed. Those who are blind often had the most to see, and as such had untapped worth those in his position often felt they lacked. Almost he touched his eyes, where once his vision had been pristine and now took on a new light. Suppressing the desire he instead looked back to the others and considered further. tab The two girls before him were at least on some level bound, though the why escaped him as he'd not been there for their waking. The two previous, while not bound as of yet by any bonds of friendship or some other type, were the first he'd offered aid and instruction to. To send them off now might well seem cruel or unusual. Perhaps offering them some level of instruction to better help them understand the roles they might play here was in order. He could not teach all four, not now, not while his plans had yet to be laid to the level he needed. So he would need to split them up and quickly at that. There were no shinobi or adventurers within the village that were not already on missions, and Shadow had the prickly sense about him that said students would suffer under his tutelage. Kagerou could well serve as an apt instructor yet she seemed tied to Shadow for reasons unclear, meaning Shadow's influence would stop that. Perhaps one more to their number would suffice, fulfilling the long-standing tradition of a squad of three for teamwork? The thought was quickly cast aside as for the moment as neither were anywhere nearby, given the reports his soldiers continued to leave for him. tab Annoyed, but controlled, Hesrik nodded shortly before looking towards his receptionists. "Aluria," he called, his voice rising just enough that it carried around the hall. "Call Xanion for me. He will take responsibility for these two." Here he gestured towards Alasia and Tatsuki, though his eyes remained on the Stragari. "Give them a room within the market district and food to filly their bellies. Provide each with two hundred Ryo to supply themselves with, and take it from my personal records." Turning to face towards the pair, grey robes shifting silently at the movement, the elder turned his corpse eyes to take them both in before continuing. "Xanion is one of my earliest companions, and he will help give you what you need and answer questions as they come. As long as both of you meet his requirements and he chooses to sponsor you I will honor your applications to become members of this town. Fear not, however. Failure simply means you may stay here as you wish, but you will be considered a guest, not a civilian." tab Turning to look towards Finnian the elder held his Scythe out once more, this time keeping it steady and still before the child. "I once had a companion with as little eyesight as you. I will assist you, as promised. First, take my scythe and use it as you would a walking stick. That should help you avoid smashing into anything, and help you up the steps were are to go." Turning his head slightly towards the direction of Aluria the elder gestured with one hand even as he considered the best command here. "Mark Finn as my charge and I will see to the other when I have time. When the Anzu return send them to the proper floor and let me know." Looking back to Finn before him he nodded shortly and adjusted his tone to become softer, warm, accepting. Too much fear would rouse his unsettling roommates, and right now there was no time for such things. "I leave the decision to you. If you would like to speak further I have a room above where you may find comfort while we discuss further. I promise you, you will not be cast out."

We, we, we. Bold of this woman to assume that they would be fast friends. Alasia said nothing. She wanted to learn more about their behaviors and their pattern. She was figuring out Tatsuki quickly but not the man before them and the boy that seemed to be cowarding in some corner. Alasia wouldn't mind a cold hard floor, she used to sleep on those. It was a habit for someone like her. Just give her a blanket and she would be good to go. The moment the bird screeched as the eagle perched onto the lady's shoulder, she took five steps, sideways away from them. Her heart was pounding. She does not like birds of prey and she had a reason.
She's a fox. Her ears perked up at the sound of Konoha and what happened to it. Odd. So this area they are in, used to be Kirigakure? She needed to check out this place somehow, she used to stay here for a bit. How long has it been? When the hooded figure had finally spoke, Alasia couldn't help but to detect the change of tone in his voice as her ears slightly twitched. So they were to meet someone called Xanion. Room and food. Two hundred Ryo? Whoa. Okay. So he was the one to judge if they can stay or not as long they meet the 'requirments.' Exactly what kind of requirments were those? With a deep and slow exhale, she figures that would happen in a state like this. It seemed he was done with them and was focused on the coward boy. With that, "Thank you." was all she said towards the scythe-wielder as she headed out of the office to go find this Aluria that could direct them to go where they need to go to meet Xanion. Or maybe they should wait at a lobby? Hmm.
