Belamos absentmindedly spun his spear over in his hand as he listened to Hajime's response. The boy was hiding something- his answers were too indirect and vague. When he questioned what Belamos was doing, the spearman simply nodded "Yeah, important task. I'm just waiting on Tsuki. I suppose you could come along..." He stopped spinning the spear at this and firmly planted the butt of it in the ground "...that is if you have indeed become stronger. Come, Haji, I have some time to kill and you look like you might have grown strong enough to actually cause me to break a sweat" At this, he smirked good-naturedly. He was pleased to find his student had flourished in the world, and would be even more so to be significantly challenged by him in a spar.

The now Young Adult Hajime dropped that smirk of his, he was dead serious now that he was being challenged. "I only hope that I will make you proud, Sensei." He gave a bow before his his right hand moved, gripping his right blade, his left was held up, a basic sign. "Hidden Mist Jutsu..." He whispers softly, not that it mattered as a thick heavy mist drifted in and around the two. Haji' would start out with his normal shtick, he'd save his other jutsu for now. Stick to Clones, hand to hand and his Swordsmanship. Hajime spoke to himself. "Water Clone Jutsu." Either side of the red head, a clone materialized out of the water vapor in the fog, each holding both of his blades out. The real him, would stay in place as the two clones attempted to flank around the Fiery Belamos through the fog. Haji and the clones could see just fine, but he was fairly certain even this basic Jutsu would cause his Sensei some grief.

He did little more than raise an eyebrow at the incoming fog. So, Hajime's plan was to obscure his vision- make it hard for him to see, huh? Well, he would see how such a simple plan would work when faced with a real opponent. Belamos would wait a handful of seconds, long enough for the boy to make his clones, before he cast his own jutsu. All at once the air seemed to light up. All of the individual pieces of water floating in the air seemingly turned into floating specks of blindingly bright light. Belamos had confiscated Hajime's water and used it as a source of reflection for the natural light provided by the Sun. Of course, Belamos could have created a more intense source of light, but the results would have harmed Hajime more than necessary. As it was, everything that wasn't Belamos and was currently in the Mist would find itself burned at every point where their skin touched the floating water droplets. Hajime and his clones would also find themselves blinded by the bright light.
After performing the jutsu Belamos jumped into the air, breaking free of the shining Koton-imbdued mist and into the open air, angling himself so that he would land on the side of the gates. At the apex of his jump Belamos extended his palm downwards and released a large fireball from his body. It's trajectory would take it down to the ground where near where he knew the last known location of the real Hajime to be. After landing upon the gates he would stare down and look over the results of his attack

That light was blinding, he was already started to shut his eyes. He took a step back then another. He heard something kick up after a minute, the light was to bright and he couldn't see anything. Someone soared over head, and he lost where his Sensei had been standing. Above him he could hear the crackling fire of an attack. "Water Shield!" He swung his blade over head, water flowing over him in a small down to protect him as he took a moment to catch himself. His eyes fluttering trying to clear his blindness. He released his Mist jutsu, keeping his ears open as he did his best to anticipate Belamos' next move. The mist was starting to fade out.

The airborne fireball washed over the water shield, vaporizing it like droplets of water upon a skillet. The attack crashed onto Hajime from above, the force of the blow sending him crashing into the ground as the earth exploded around him. The heat, as well, would doubtlessly give him severe burns over a good portion of his body. While the attack had not been particularly powerful, it was still more than enough to cause a significant injury to someone who took it head-on as he had. The success of the attack mitigated the fact that Haji had canceled the Hidden Mist Jutsu, and thus, his own reflection of it. The brightly illuminated particles of water vapor that permeated the area vanished at once, freeing up Belamos to directly resume his attacks once again.
Releasing his hold on the gates, he dropped down to the ground- about 20 meters from his injured student. He frowned, upset that he had been able to strike a blow with such ease. "I had thought better of you than to be hit with an attack so lacking in power, Haji" At this he raised his hand into the air. Out of it fired multiple, but smaller, orbs of fire. The blasts arced through high up into the air before exhausting their upwards momentum and turning back around as gravity took control. Like dangerous mortar strikes, all of the blasts were aimed to impact Haji and the area immediately surrounding him if he did not get up and move- now!

Haji's water shield was easily broken by that fireball, the heat was immense, then the ball crushed down on him, laying him out. The earth cracked and splintered around him as he took that hit. His hair was singed, burns covered him. He bit back pain, as he pushed himself up, head snapping in the direction of that voice. He could swear his vision was getting somewhat better but was still impaired. He pushed himself up, eyes shut, but moving toward's that voice, away from that fiery noise above him. He closed his distance, leaving a good 10 meters between him and where he assumed his Sensei was. He was panting softly, his hand raised ready to use some form of Jutsu. "Lightning Strike Armor." He'd drawn his right blade, lifting it high, electricity crackled down the tip of his blade and enveloped around him. It was a blue hue, sparks spat and jumped up and down him. As he took a step forward, Haji could start to see ahead of him, his vision finally coming back. "Been a bit since a fight, I'm a little rusty..."

His airborne fireballs crashed into the ground where Hajime had been just moments before, further tearing up the landscape. Haji rose to challenge him yet again, a sort of defiance that Belamos could not help but smile at. Perhaps the boy had learned something from him after all. He was about to redouble his efforts when, all of a sudden, he froze in place. Scurrying on the ground before him, moving at an impressively high speed, was a small Lizard. Belamos knelt down and scooped the small animal into his palm, bringing it close to his ear afterwards. After a few seconds, he let his arms drop as the animal poofed into smoke "Hajime, with me, now!" He would cry out as he sprinted over to the nearest guard. "You, peon, tell my wife I am headed to the hillside when she arrives. Tell her it's arrived"
Without missing a beat, Belamos would take off sprinting- trusting his apprentice to follow him. On the way he would inform the boy of his hunt, of the Yonbi and it's power, he would explain it all. Should he chose not to participate than he would understand, but for the first time in his life even Belamos began to doubt whether his power would be enough for this challenge.

Stood at attention, immediately realizing he was getting a message. He waited patiently, sparking away, that blue aura appeared like some menacing armor. When he was told to follow he did so, sticking right by him. It sorta bummed him out that they had to stop, but seeing how worried his Master was he had a feeling he'd need to conserve what chakra he had left. "I'm with you, Sir!"

Landing with another puff of leaves, Tsuki looked around expecting to see her husband. But instead she was greeted with another person awaiting her. One of the guards who informed her that he had already headed out. Letting out a sigh she smiled,"Thank you, and I am sorry. Knowing my husband he was probably rude with his request. So thank you, and again. I am sorry." With a light bow she quickly set about tying her hair back into its signature braid as she ran towards the small village.

Belamos and Tsuki arrived at the gates side by side. Belamos no longer showed any outwards signs of discomfort- strangely enough the beast had quieted down. Still, it was a worry for him. He needed to tame this monster and quickly. He couldn't risk this thing going wild inside the village. Turning to his wife, he smiled "Why don't you go see Aurelia? I bet she is worried sick" He said, forcing a half chuckle. As he did so he shifted his gaze to the horizon "I have to train for just a little more. Y'know...figure this whole thing out" He squeezed her hand once more before vanishing in place. Making her way to the gate she simply handed her papers off to one of the guards while listening to Bel. Though his words elicited only a heavy sigh from as he vanished,"Tell him not to do something, whats he do? The very thing you tell him not to do. Gods above I should start telling him to do the things I dont want him to do so that he actually does what I want him to do." Retaking her papers she headed into the village.

tab Lahlil let out a small huff of exhaustion, her feet were killing hee from all the walking she had to do to just to get here. Did they really need to pick a place so high in the mountains? Although it was a bit nostalgic being here as it brought up memories of those sweet pitch black caverns Caine and the others of her family make their home.
The stinging cold wind from being at such a high altitude forced her out of the comfort of her thoughts and back to reality. Rinka and her would soon be upon Arashi's front doorstep, hopefully they will have a nice warm bed for her to rest. Hands fidgeting with the edges of her ahirt Lahlil walked up to the storm shinobi guarding the gate. Okay Lahlil you can do this! Time to look cool and like tou know what you're doing in front of Rinka."Excuse me!" Trying to add authority to her small voice Lahlil only managed to make it squeak more, which she quickly covered up with an embarrassed cough. "Excuse me, I am Lahlil Nevarra and this is my friend Rinka. We were sent from Uzugakure as a peaceful envoy to meet with the Arashikage and try to improve relations with Arashigakure."
Unlike her partner, the rough mountain terrain did not bother Rinka one bit. In fact, the oni found the rocks and high altitude rather refreshing. Her bare feet kicked and scraped against rocks with little effort as their jagged edges were broken off against her rough skin. Where Lahlil's breaths were surely shallow and unattuned to the lack of readily available oxygen, Rinka's were deep and full. Even the harsh, freezing wind didn't seem to phase the girl as it lashed at her bare chest beneath her cloak; truly she was made for this type of environment.
Rinka's followed along behind Lahlil, letting her do most of the talking; the last thing they needed was Rinka's lack of a grasp on speaking get in the way. As her partner explained their case, Rinka's eyes went about their usual business of zooming in and around the environment and taking in as much information as she could gather about it. One thing she immediately noted was the presence of goose bumps raising along the skin of her partner. The two left in such a hurry that they had failed to prep for an actual mountain trek... not that Rinka actually needed to prep. Lahlil, on the other hand, was a different story. Not one to let her partners, or anyone for that matter, suffer, Rinka slumped over Lahlil, draping herself over the girl and letting her cloak fold around her. "Cold... need warm. Can come in?" A simple request and one the guards would hopefully abide by.

The intial approach would prove to be almost exhaustive, as Lahil had innermonolouged, but upon reaching the top, high enough to be close to the clouds like they'd possibly never have been before, they would find the massive, beautiful gates above a loud rushing waterfall to be opened. Standing at either side, after sentries had reported their approach with ominous whistles, were a pair of guards. One wore a pig mask, the other something akin to a frowning demon, deep in contemplation.

"From the village of Whirlpools you say?" the pig masked guard asked, turning his head and touching a finger to the lip of his mask. "Now isn't THAT a surprise?" he continued. Sandy, holding a naginata in one hand on the ground turned and gave a whistle.
"Well. Welcome to Arashigakure, fellow shinobi. Come," Pigsy said walking beyond the gate, dragging a rake-like polearm behind him almost uncaring for whatever they could have done as he proudly trotted in, happy to show off the beautiful village. Even as they were still rebuilding just a bit from the blood moon that had passed, the beauty of clashing engineering working in such a complete and efficient cacophony was sure to catch Rinka's eye one way or the other. "You see that tall building in the center? We call that the Spire. It's where you can find the Mighty Ze-"
"AHEM." Sandy interrupted allowing the group to walk past him without following.
"The Mighty Jay and Jeon, our Arashikage!" Pigsy suddenly felt the weight of a nation bearing down on him.
"Do be sure to make your way straight there. They'll be eager to hear whatever the Uzukage has to say." When Sandy had said that, he pointed along the nearest bridge that would take them along their pathway through the gust district straight to the Arashikage.
