Of course, about halfway up he tripped on a stick and landed face first. In his stopped and fallen state a not-at-all gentle lightning bolt came down on him and knocked him out cold.

Still, he was out there again eventually, taking another shock because his pacing wasn't the best.

He was maybe keeping too much of an eye out though, which led to him slowing down too much...which led to another big shock.

Finish! He collapsed at the finish line, but he had a hand up in victory for the first few seconds he was facedown in the dirt.

Because the last run wasn't too filled with lightning bolt-induced electrical shocks, it didn't take that long for Kane to gather up the stretch to finally get up and off the ground. He puffed up proudly after dusting himself off, then turned and looked down the hill that was Thunder Road and, in the very back of his mind, gave it the Finger before walking off to go get himself cleaned up. Hopefully there wouldn't be any residual electrical energy that would make bathing an issue...
