Why do they want to join?: Na'resh has spent his life running away in some form or another. First from a mother who clung to the memory of their father too hard, and then after losing his mate he continued to run from his troubles to keep his daughter safe. After running into a... somewhat nice lion (Na'resh is hard to impress) named Shaji he was convinced that this might be the perfect chance to give his daughter the life he never had.

To his credit, this place was pretty chill when they first got here okay.
