Nighthawk had been rather content to spend the evening (more or less) silently listening and pondering over the words of the two demi-god(desse)s before her, and obtained some amount of insight into the going-ons of these infamous parties. Even if she could not confirm them with her own eyes, the idea seemed plausible enough given those involved. To think they had invisible magical arrows... But she was but only an unlearned child; what did she know?

The morning had begun almost regretfully, with her disembarking the ship with a likely clear distaste to her aura. The cherubs with the lei had certainly seemed hesitant to wrap one about her neck.

She blinked as she noticed a male off in the distance, clearly distressed. Using her wings to propel herself forward, but not so quickly as to startle him, she hesitated before touching his shoulder.

"What's wrong?"

As she asked, her eyes moved to scan over the muddy paw prints leading to the jungle's interior... and... another bird within it? Eyes narrowing, Nighthawk had to wait only a moment to recognize a familiar sort of figure among the foliage.

Aquarious stumbled a little as her feet touched down to earth from the ship, her sea legs having managed to develop over the span of the last couple of days. She quickly righted herself, hoping Thulani hadn't seen, then smiled a little to herself. Something magical had happened at that party, perhaps it was the stars all aligning, or some spell being cast, but everything had fallen into place between her and that beautiful silver haired male.

Looking up at him, her eyes locked with his and she felt a hot warmth flow through her. The waterfall? That sounded absolutely beautiful. "Yes, the waterfall would be wonderful." She gently slid her hand into his and tangled her fingers with his. Her attention was turned to the golden goddess as, once again, she welcomed them to their latest step in their voyage.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Harmonia. Thank you." She smiled to the goddess, then turned her attention back to where the cherubs were leading numerous pae for the waterfall. A small frown came over her face, not exactly one for big groups.

"Thulani, there are already so many going... the hot springs look like they could be fun?" She smiled up at him, knowing he would understand.

Thulani hadn't been expecting the number of pae'il to show up about them as they did, else he would have avoided asking the goddess for directions at all. Instead, he placed himself between Aquarious and the others and gave her an apologetic smile, waiting for the right moment to move away without appearing too rude. "Thank ya very much Miss Harmonia, and nice tah meet y'all all. M'name's Thulani, an' this here's Aquarious." He waved lightly to everyone about before looking to Aquarious again, her displeasure at the (now) large number of others heading to the waterfall not lost to him.

He nodded to her before waving again to the group that had appeared. "'Twas nice tah meet y'all all, but we're gunna head on out now. Have yurselves a great day." Squeezing his love's hand, he lead her away from the group and, with the helpful pointing of a observant (or perhaps nosy was a better word) cherub, onto the path to the hot springs. "Sorry 'bout that. Guess errypae wanted tah see the waterfall tahday. Maybe we can go look at it later tahday, if'n you'd like?" For now, he was rather pleased to be on the trail with her.

Azure could tell she was acting different. Perhaps, they were both trying to compensate. She had told him and reassured him so much that he had nothing to worry about, and he took her word for it because he had complete faith in Dyas.

Now instead of being jealous, he worried about her and worried about whatever feelings his jealousy has stirred up. He just felt clueless and helpless about what he could do to make things better, or what to say. For now, he avoided it.

"Do you want to get some breakfast at the hotel before we start the day?" Azure asked as he walked off the ship with Dyas. He always had to lead, in a way, since she couldn't outright say what she wanted to do, but she could communicate yes and no easily enough. If they started out with a big breakfast they wouldn't have to worry about eating for a while and could do whatever she desired.

Lillibeth paused for a moment, securing one of her own red feathers to the tree she landed on. This was to help orientate herself if she managed to get turned around. That would truly be embarrassing, but one had to be careful. Her feathers were far more beautiful than any other red feathered creature in the world or the next. Seeing the feather would make it easy to know she was headed back to the entrance, getting out was as easy as flying up.

It was in that act that she looked up and saw another harpy and pae approaching. The male-thing looked distressed. To her knowledge neither knew Mayu, a truest shame if there was ever one, was it possible they had lost someone themselves?

That was upsetting, if they came trouncing through they could disturb what clues there were. Prodded on with that, the sense of urgency sky-rocketing, Lillibeth turned and headed further in. Staying high as to not disturb any potential clues below, the harpy relied heavily on her superior eyesight going from branch to branch clawing intentional marks as she went.

Tristen mentioned a name, this Junior had to be a brother or oddly named sister for the clawed pae to be his nephew. Agreeing with her champion she remarked, "I can say the same, that is my second favorite part of these events." There were there favorites, family was right in them middle of the list. It reminded her, she was supposed to introduce her Champion to the rest of her siblings. Maybe then they'd stop hitting him with arrows!


The two departing were at least polite. That was something she could appreciate, "Enjoy your vacation and remember to avoid the jungle." It was sound advice, and hearing it repeated by the cherubs made it an automatic response. The cat-pae she'd seen before surely listened and was enjoying her hike as well.

Pothos had finally gotten up the nerve to leave the boat, dragging his heavy feet across the island sand and towards the Hotel. After the party he had sneaked back into hiding behind the bar but this time clutching several bottles that were now quite empty. Groaning, the god of longing squinted his eyes closed from the bright sun, a hand seemingly fixed into his dark curls as he attempted to massage away a small pounding ache in the back of his head.

He couldn't make up his mind if that party was one of the worst...or one of the better ones. Yeah, there was no Eris, there was no fearing for his life, no mind control, Aglaia wasn't huddled somewhere in a corner crying. But there was that mortal and his relentless efforts to turn this sad wistful god into his lusty twin. And.... of course....all those things he had said after being shot with a longing arrow. If only...

Sighing, Pothos wandered past all the commotion going on as if the other mortals weren't even there. He had caught a brief glimpse of his twin disappearing off into the jungle with that yellow fauny despite the warnings not too. Of course. Good ol' Himeros. But what he really wanted right now was..... ok well he didn't really know exactly what he wanted right now. But food couldn't hurt. So the first stop the god made was at the buffet.

Or at least he thought it was. Was that Abby? Blinking, Pothos moved closer to the familiar blue figure of his daughter. "Abby?" he called, then paused. Wait. Did she still hate him for being so absent? Or would she be glad to see him? And the kids... oh he was sure they were all grown and had no idea who he even was!

Everything was still for the most part, nothing had changed since they had woken up in their cage. That was till a stirring in the bushes began. It could have simply been the breeze, but after awhile it became stronger, like something was nearing.

While their eyes were fixed on the bushed, waiting for their doom, a loud slam was heard behind them. When they would turn to investigate the noise they'd fine a new pile of Pae with them in the cage. How had their captors done that so fast!?
