The day before had left Bree in a dreamy state of exhaustion. The majority of the afternoon had been dedicated to house cleaning while Finn stayed at work. Once again, he was nowhere to be found, and so she had accepted Tyrese's invite to the hotel. 'Personal days', he called it, but as far as she was concerned, she had been the only one invited to see him while he was staying here. Victoria and Hakem were left to watch over the house and... She exhaled brown curls away from her nostrils in her sleep. They had spent the day at the beach after she bundled herself in enough clothing, treading the bottom of their shoes to see how many foot prints would stick to the damp and cold sand. Occasionally they'd pause and sit along the beach, her jeans extending across he petite legs while she gazed over the waves. It was a relaxing day out of the house with someone she had grown obscenely close to. The last two weeks had been a mouse trap, having to creep over lines in order to beat around the "ferocious" - all sarcasm included - Lillian; she had been nothing but a blockade that showed up every once in a while. If she ever entered the bathroom, Bree was already beginning a bath. If she ever entered the kitchen, Tori was more than likely starting on Tyrese's meal of choice.
She finally awoke, fluttering her eyelashes open to gaze across the dimmed room. The curtains had been retained closed since last night after the bluenette insisted she stay the night rather than drive home sleepy. And so, since Finn once again wouldn't answer, she stayed. She bid goodnight to Tyrese and accepted his gracious offer of letting her stay in one of the rooms. Of course, she didn't choose a big one, something small for herself that wouldn't make her feel too alone. She stretched her arm across the cool bed, feeling along for the top of the covers so she could push them back above her shoulder. Once her ivory skin was hidden, she glanced over the clock with a heavy sigh. It was late. But she didn't want to get out of this bed. It smelled brand new, the sheets were crisp and the comforter was like a fluffed cloud. Her bare legs shifted in the slightest bit, her toes curling in to elicit a small popping sound. Now she remembered why she didn't want to get up. She wanted to go and check on her bar as she had promised she would at least once a week. It had been an absolute killer the first time to leave Tyrese's house in order to do it - but with Victoria there, someone she could utterly trust, that made it that much easier.
She could still hear the waves. Could still feel the sand crunching beneath her black flats. She wanted to go do it again... But it was even colder than yesterday and there was no way she'd be willing to risk a cold or even flu. She was now 14 weeks in to her pregnancy. Every day both her and the baby were growing - and now she was in her second trimester. The weight was a bit obvious by now; and her baby was now the size of a lemon. That was certainly a hell of a lot further than a bean! The only downside was that the doctor had told her to find a regular Joe workout... Something she could do in her free time. Luckily for her, that included in-water Yoga. Which wasn't so bad at all when she could control water. She thrummed her fingers along the underside of her firm stomach, a small lump having now appeared from 2 weeks ago or so. It amazed her how much could change. "Can you hear me...?" She whispered groggily, exhaling with a small smile. Only two more weeks at least and she'd be able to find out whether or not their baby was a boy or a girl. In her mind, she had already chosen the boy and girl names. If Finn didn't like them, then they'd come to an agreement. But for now, she adored Chloe for a girl and Chandler for a boy.
She pushed her hand onto her stomach, turning up sideways to sit on the edge of the bed and let her bare feet dangle just above the carpet. Would Tyrese be up already? Well, probably. It was practically the middle of the afternoon. Who wouldn't be up by now? She turned her gaze from the wall over to the prodding sunlight coming forth from the windows. But for now... She ignored it and grabbed her phone from the night stand. She leaned back to fall back on to her side, curling up in the warm dip with her phone now tightly in her hand. "One day you'll be out here with me..." She whispered again, closing her eyes and leaning further into the mattress.

Tyrese was tired of struggling and aching to fold his pants leg above his cast, the material was already stretched over his leg from the bulk. After getting frustrated the wolf grabbed scissors and cut the material off at his thigh where the cast ended a few inches below. He grumbled about the waste in clothing, telling himself he was stupid to try squeezing jeans on anyway. He was tired of sweat suits and didn't own shirts quite this...short. With frustrated grunts, Ty threw away the amputated fabric and got up to continue his work. He plucked up the file box he'd been toting around, trying to tuck it under his arm where it was already sharing space with his crutch. Several people, employees and visitors, stopped him and offered to help; he refused with a smile and hobbled into his office. Aubrey wasn't up by then, so he'd only left instructions at the front desk for them to offer her breakfast should she peek from her door. They'd page him as well, but since he'd been tired all morning it was a good chance he'd be caught sleeping at his desk again. Until that time the wolf dragged up the reviews a few surprise critics had written while he was broken and at home. The employees were a little disorganized, the ones whom he'd hired with no prior experience, but the senior staff who'd worked similar jobs in the past seemed to handle it. His menu was good, his prices were cheap, the location was nice. This, he could live with. A small smile graced his lips.
Being away from home, out of Lillians shadow even, made him feel better. He wanted to be doing things on his own, and he wanted to free up all his attendants to get back to their lives. He couldn't help the feeling things would be better for them had he not come around. It was meant towards Finn and Aubrey. Sure, he knew nothing he did could turn Finn into the a** he'd chosen to be lately; it was up to the athelete to make time and space for his wife regardless of work. His personal issues were their personal issues, but he'd been trying to handle things himself on his own level. Lord even knows what the explanation was anymore. Still, Ty felt like it all started when he showed up, it was at a happy but unsure time for them, and with all his drama thrown on things just sorta fell to where they are now. If he was going to be miserable, or whatever he was going to go through, he'd rather do it alone and drag other people down. Pretty much everyone had to be sick of having Lillian in the house. But, well, Lillian was as permanent a part of his life as Sela. Even if he got with someone else, she would still have to be around. Ty scratched the shell of his ear and sighed, his temple resting against the desk as he yawned. It was easier to move on without the blonde lurking nearby; he didn't think getting closure would be so easy the way she was now, but at least he could start getting himself together. Staying here? He liked this better.

It took some lazy scrolling through her phone for Bree to actually get up from the bed and off to the day. With one final sigh, she laid her phone face down on her side, now laying on her side as her doctor had instructed her to. She unfurled her legs from herself, her calves creaking away from the backs of her thighs before straightening them out and rubbing her hands along the front of her ivory skin. There were very few footsteps crossing in front of her door here and there, almost as if someone were listening to see if she had arisen from her bed and was ready to be tended to. It was funny, really, almost as if she were receiving some sort of royal treatment just for being here. She ran a hand through her curled bangs and hair, careful not to straighten out any dark chocolate strands that had weaved themselves in a tight swirl. Once she could feel her feet come to the edge of the bedding, she sat up once more, letting the air delicately caress her to a straight-backed, sitting position until she decided to pull herself up on her feet. Slowly she steadied herself, toppling in a small dizzy motion until she could stand up straight, taking a deep breath. She hated getting up in the morning... Though technically it was afternoon.
Making her way to the bedroom door, she creaked it open just a bit, grazing her fingertips out and on to the door frame. Her eyes peeked around the corner, her curls dangling from her face. It didn't take long for an employee to spot her coming out of her room, and if she wasn't wearing only a tank top and underwear, she might have come fully out."Good morning, Ms. Teagan!"Bree smiled in return with a faint wave, curling a hair back behind her ear. "Don't tease me, you. It's afternoon." The young man chuckled and gave a faint bow."You caught me. Will you be needing anything this morning? Shall I get Mr. Havens for you?"She waved her hand, this time a little more frantically before shaking her head. "No, no! I'm sure he needs his personal days." She began before clearing her throat. "I am, however, craving some french toast and eggs. Wanna hook me up? I promise I won't be here long. You don't need to tend to me like a princess. You guys have been doing amazing enough.""I'll try my best, Ms. Teagan, though I doubt Mr. Havens would appreciate us treating you as a 'normal guest', if you will. But regardless, I'll have the food delivered to your room."The smile widened. "Thanks~. I might be in the shower, so just have someone bring it in and set it on the dresser." Once again he nodded and turned on his heel to head down the hallway, clicking a button on his black messenger to alert the staff and Tyrese that she was awake and what she had ordered without Bree noticing.
She closed the door behind her, pushing her hand against the door frame to soften the blow. It was absolutely amazing how they truly treated her as if she was some sort of special guest. Speaking of, she gripped her phone and tilted it back to her view, turning around to make her way into the bathroom next. The least she could do was shower after walking on the beach yesterday. She may have taken a bath last night, but it was nothing compared to the hit of water droplets against her skin. There wasn't much of a hesitation before she opened up Tyrese's name on her screen.
Man! What do you do when I go to bed? Give them a run down of how to treat Princess Bree?
Was she mad about yesterday? Absolutely not. She laid her phone on the porcelain sink, turning around to turn on the water and grip the bottom of her tank top in order to slip it up and off over her head - followed by her black underwear. She hesitated for a slight second, grazing her fingertips over her lips. If anything, it had taken her a while to realize what he had done - yet again for the second time - after the task had already been completed. The feelings from him had always gone unspoken, secret in translation from mind to mind and off of the simplest of actions. But what he had said, what he had done, last night, blew the entire situation out of the water. She had never felt so... So... So conflicted. Every part of the past had screamed at her to fight for what was right, what she needed... But with the abandonment and depression lingering over her pregnant form, she could only feel the want, the deceit, and the warmth of the kiss he laid upon her lips. Instead she had only apologized. Had stood there as if it were her own fault Tyrese had fallen for her. She had done nothing wrong in her own eyes; only what she was taught, and that was to stand up for her own family. But without Finn there... Without his constant reassurance, his love, his touch, his kisses... Had she built a ship to wreck without realizing what was happening?
Her family was falling apart again... It wasn't at all what she wanted. She wanted something warm, something that she could count on, and that thing was blue haired and navy eyed. Just the thought of it pinged such guilt in her form she had to physically push herself towards the shower in order to even step in it. The only part she could regret over her actions was Finn's reluctance to play a part in Tyrese's healing. All that was left in the 'game' were her and Tyrese; and they were desperately clinging to something of a fantasy. She sighed, water droplets trickling down her face and bursting away from her nose as she exhaled heavily, slipping her hands over her naked body. While deep in thought, her shower lasted longer than what she had intended, the soap feeling like glue with her sluggish motions to remove it. Fortunately, as she pulled the towel around herself and tied it over her breasts, she could smell the food lingering from her main bedroom, a small metal lid placed over it to keep the heat inside. It still looked fresh, a small white name card with a black, cursive 'Aubrey Teagan' scrawled on the side. She could swear this place was too much... But it only made her realize how much she enjoyed the attention she hadn't received at home in weeks.
I'm going to the bar to do the weekly check up. Just wanted you to know where I am.
She tossed her phone back on to the bed, doubting she'd receive a return text. Oh well... She pulled the top of the lid off, settling it next to the designed food and pulling the plate itself off to carry it off towards the bed. The plate itself was eaten slowly while she lotioned and dressed herself up, the television playing in the background quietly to make a bit of noise in the room. It had taken plenty of time, but now she was ready. She picked up the close-to-empty platter and set it back on top of the cart, wheeling it back towards the door to make it convenient for whomever came to set the room back up again. It was silly for them to clean it head to toe, but that was the way Tyrese had wanted it - and she had understood why. She strapped both boots on, pulling the hat over her curls and turned the tv off, exiting through the bedroom door, her overnight bag in hand. After making a quick mental note of what she hadn't forgotten, she closed the door completely, a different young woman passing by with a small smile."Good afternoon, Ms. Bree!"Something about that made her laugh, but she let it slide. It was up to the employees to call her what they felt like calling her - so long as they didn't call her Aubrey. That named was reserved for special family and friends. "Well hello~." She spoke softly, rearranging the bag over her forearm and tugging the sides of her dress a little so it would rearrange itself correctly."Leaving already? Did you want me to tell Mr. Havens to meet you?""No, thank you though! Just let him know I'll be back later to get my car. I'm just going to slip over to my bar for a bit for some work." It felt weird, being professional with these people, but understandable. The woman nodded and did so, turning on her heel to leave back the way she came.
I'll be back later in case they don't tell you. Gonna go do the weekly check up. :3 So I'm just gonna throw my night stuff in the car and walk over there. Gotta get that 'daily workout' crap in anyway.
She snorted, heading towards the front door and waving to the occasional employee here and there. Finally she reached the front door, allowing yet another person to pull the door open for her before she stepped out on to the thin layer of snow, which had been covered by a small pile of salt all over the sidewalk. Neat. Always thinking ahead of the game~. She laughed a little, opening her car to throw her bag in, locking it, and heading up the beach and into Downtown Soleil.

The first thing Tyrese did this groggy early noon day after waking up was curl his fingers around his cell phone and turn the florecent screen to his face. He squinted and shifted through his text, looking for one from Aubrey Teagan. Nothing but that last stating she was walking to the bar for her usual check in. The wolf frowned. Had she gone with Finn or something, she'd let him know. Hell, no matter what she's gotten up to shed let him know. She certainly hadn't seemed angry by him a few days prior. Pushing his lips to one side, the wolf got out of bed and used his crutches to hobble into the bathroom and relieve himself. His office was well endowed but he could spoil himself if he wanted. He came back into his office, grabbing his walkie talkie with one hand and sorting through his bag for clothes with the other. He paged his head of staff. "Morning, Martha. Can you do me a favor? Check the logs and see if Aubrey checked back in in the last forty-eight hours."
He waited, taking his clothes to the bed and laying them out. They were sweats so they didn't exactly need ironing, and this was the easier way for him to dress. He sat down and pulled his bad leg through the thick material first, turning his ear to the radio as he got a reply. "No sir, she hasn't." Came the reply in a cheery voice. Ty frowned and finished pulling his pants up. He picked up the radio again. "Well, check out the parking lot and see if her car is still there." He waited and learned that it was, shaking his head slowly and pulling in his shirt. "That's what I was afraid of." The author grumbled, putting on and sipping his jacket before using his crutches to take him out of his bed and breakfast. He called a cab, trying to call the brunette and her husband. What was going on?

Tyrese was hoping all of this was the biggest mistake of his life, and that even once he did this, Aubrey would reappear and tell him this was well beyond an overreaction. Well, he had her phone and purse and had watched the videos over and over; the wolf was convinced something wasn't right. He had to follow his hunch at this point, she was pregnant and this wasn't usual behavior for the brunte. His only reasons for hesitating...having the police call her parents, and Finn. If she was with neither, they'd be worried out of their minds. Ty leaned against Aubrey's car, still in place with no sign of the woman, and sighed before dialing the authorities. He wasn't her husband, and hadnt talked to the man since he noticed his wife missing. He felt dumb for that, but he knew what he was saying. Besides, Finn hadn't seen his wife in much longer than that. She was gone out of his life for weeks, and only out of Ty's for four days now. Tyrese wobbled to wait inside until the police arrived to fill out a report. He was going to find her because, by now, this wasn't a case of her wanting him -or anyone else- to back off. The author was going to assure he knew where she was, no matter what.

"Remember what Daddy said, okay? Stay close to mommy or Sinclair so you can be safe. I love you...talk to you later." Tyrese spoke into his cell phone not long after the police cleared out. Their only plans were to fill out a report, of course that was unless he felt she was immediate danger. The wolf told what he knew, at the promise they'd view the tapes down at the bar. He was told there were other matters to attend to -like killer snowmen- and like Ty had done for four days already, they were going to wait before starting a search party. Tyrese was taken aback by this, collapsing into a wheeled chair as they went about their way. This lead to now, as the author hung up with his daughter and took a box cutter to his cast. The doctor wouldn't have it off yet, but the patient was faced with enough. He'd done too much waiting, and it now became obvious he needed to act. He could still track Aubrey if he tried hard enough, the senses of his wolf were powerful enough- or had the potential, if there was enough scent left behind.
The white plaster around his leg peeled off in clunky ribbons, littering the floor as his wounded limb became exposed. He was careful not to cut himself much as he judged how thick to carve the knife, his side aching as he pushed the rest of the casting off his foot. The male rubbed along his skin, tentative to put weight on it too quickly. However, he knew his body, this wasn't a task beyond him. The man sighed and picked his cell phone up again.
To Hakem "Im going 2 track Aubrey. Hld things dwn 4 me"
Sending the massage, the man stripped his clothing and left it aside. 'Okay...moment of truth.' He exhaled, steadying his nerves and trying to shift for the first time in weeks. The pang first that stopped him was from his head, the concussion that was now making a dark ring in his vision. Tyrese locked his jaw, his phone beginning to ring -his uncle calling to perhaps urge against his decision. The wolf gave a sharp cry as his ribs cracked, falling on his side with shallow breaths. He pleaded himself not to fade into unconsciousness, his eyes pinched shut as beads of sweat pushed to the surface of his skin. s**t! The wolf turned onto his back, dizzy and disoriented. But he began to wonder where Aubrey was, and doing nothing to find out wasn't an option.
With everything she was losing and her choice to stay by his side despite her silent suffering, the wolf had set his mind on what he'd sacrifice for her. He was coming for her himself. Tyrese finished the shift, a small bark and a whimper replacing his screams. Shaking and rasping, he climbed to his paws and forced weight onto his broken leg. Hopefully it was mended enough to endure this. He wobbled forward, emptied his stomach on the carpet, and fell unconscious to the floor.

Tyrese slowly blinked away, feeling the pain that had dragged him below the surface of consciousness. How long ago had that been? He sensed the sun was low in the sky. As one ear flickered downward, the wolf hacked up a gelatinous blob of coagulated blood and mucus, shaking weakly as his body gave further attempts as ejecting stomach acid and whatever else hadn't been thrown up previously. Laying still for a further time, the wolf gained his bearings and began to pull his laws beneath his body. His fur rustled and held specs of being fluid, adding to his discomfort as he crept towards the door and tested his limitations. His back leg protested the weight, but not nearly as badly as he expected. It was the the last stitching in his side that tore free during his shifting that bothered him more, and something that happened in his side when his ribs adjusted their place.
Swallowing slowly, he could still feel something out of place, but he could walk- and run, and that was good enough. Very carefully, Tyrese lifted onto his hunches to paw the door open. He wanted to avoid starting the guests and employees, his body lowered to the floor on its way out the back entrance. Once he was in the cold, his body freed up. He took several calculated bounds before clearing his property in hopes of finding Aubrey Teagan's scent. He knew where to start, he needed to get to the bar. Being detected was less of a problem giving the current situation in the snow-cluttered streets. A giant mutt was less of a problem compared to hostile snow man. In this form, Ty could dodge those and move with almost no effect for the cold. His breath misted in the air, leaving a short-lived trail behind him and he dashed further into town.

Kenzie wandered away from the beach and ended up at this place. He didn't have a tour guide this time around and he didn't want to bother Patrick by staying at the house until it time for him to head back home. "Maybe, I should stay over at this place the next time I'm here" he thought. To him the place didn't look half bad as he walks on the outside of it. "Oh right. I'm trying to avoid spending money while in this town" he reminded himself. [exit] ┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Perhaps I have come a bit too early at this place.
That was on her mind considering that there was not much people except her. Nonetheless, she decided to took a glance at the kitchen that would become her workplace for the time being, having to take notice of every single nook and cranny last night and even reviewing the work ethics. It was a bit too spacious for her liking, but at least everything she needed was there, from the utensils to the ingredients. She was indeed at awe, but it was no time for her to stroll around.
Knowing that she had to deposit all her possessions onto the spacious locker at the back door reserved for the employees, she immediately walked onto that place. However, it took a while for her to open her space for her locker since she had to guess the right number combinations just for the sake of unlocking the spot. Inside her locker compartment was the chef top, simple and plain but fit for her size, as well as the small toque and the black hairnet. Though she wasn't used to working at such venues, she researched well enough that proper hygiene was a must.
Right away, she slipped on the top and applied the hairnet onto her head before putting on the chef's hat. She then arranged her bag as well as her violin case into the locker before locking it close. After ensuring the it was secure, the raven-haired went on with the first thing to do before going to work: having to work the shoe soles onto the footbath as well as washing hands before preparation.
Now, she was ready to prepare for brunch, though the prep work had to be toned down for only a few customers at a time.

Rin had sent a message to Solaris, having slept the rest of the night after her shift yesterday due to exhaustion. But now she was feeling more than refreshed and looked forward spending new year's even with her friend.
“Hey Sol, can't wait to see you later on. Sorry I wasn't myself yesterday....after the whole Yuki thing...it really bummed me out....but I'm better now.”

The chef-in-training was in the process of cooking a few of the brunch specialties when her phone rang. She picked it up, only to see Ringo's message depicting that she was in high spirits now. She couldn't help but to feel relieved. She then fired up a quick reply.
"That's great! I'm glad that you're feeling fine! See you at Amour de la Mer, then! There's food waiting for everyone!"
She hastily pressed the send button and slipped her phone pack into her jeans pocket, knowing that she had to continue cooking for the sake of the clients.
