Rebecca Borgstrom "The only truth to the universe is this," the Devil said: 'Everyone gets exactly what they want." "How, then, do you explain Hell?" That stumped him for a moment, and then he shrugged. "I'm not sure. Maybe I get the first turn." C. S. Lewis. "When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." The Princess Bride "Inconceivable!" "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." The Princess Bride "We'll never survive." "Nonsense. You're only saying that because no one ever has. Serenity]"I want to resolve this like civilized men. I'm not threatening you. I'm unarmed. "
"Good." *blam blam blam*[/quote]

Song_of_fire Novatierrie To the above -- I like Douglas Adams OKAY? *could have quoted much more, and hasn't even TOUCHED Good Omens yet. :B* But it was Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman who wrote Good Omens. Not Douglas Adams. I do recommend the book assembled from what was found on his computer when he died entitled "The salmon of doubt". Is good. Everything is getting nicely out of hand.- Dirk Gently, The salmon of doubt Yus, I know that. It's one of my favorite books. I just didn't start quoting that one 'cause I was going on and on and needed to end the post before I made it 20 pages long.

Pansy_Parkinson "Zoom in as they burn the past to the ground and feel the heat of the future's glow." - from the musical RENT "There will always be women in rubber flirting with me!" - also from RENT "When you are born, you should cry, and the world rejoice. When you die, you should rejoice and the world should cry." - I heard that from a friend, who isn't sure if he got it right in the first place. xp Anyways... I don't know why I like those quotes... there are a lot more that I like, but I just can't think of them at the moment. omg, I love your RENT quotes. I have a few to add "Im more of a man than you'll ever be, and more of a women than you'll ever get" -Angel The heart may freeze or it can burn. The pain will ease if I can learn. There is no future, there is no past. I live this moment as my last" -Mimi
