As the beast went limb, Arkos dropped down beside its lifeless body and fell to his knees, completely exhausted and injured he saw a small message stating their victory and their rewards. He pushed himself back up to his feet, "Well... that was a bigger challenge than I thought" he said, leaning on his spear a bit.

Arkos felt the recharge start up, it was refreshing to say the least as his wounds were miraculously healed and his breathing returned to normal, it was almost like he had gotten into a fight in the first place, "I suppose, exp wise, but the ring? Ehh.. I guess its better than nothing" he noted, as he examined the tiny circular hoop.

Arkos threw the ring up in the air and caught it in the palm of his hand, "Yeah, I guess a bit of stamina is good for me, but I'm a bit more tanky than damage based, although I kind of screwed that up earlier..." he mentioned, sheathing his spear on his back and rolling his hands into fists and placing them against his hips, "So, how'd you know it would be here?" he asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion, he wasn't exactly his specialty to know when or where the enemy would attack but rather to hit back and keep them occupied.

Chuckling at his response, Arkos brought a hand up to his chin, the gauntleted hand brushing against the hairs of his beard, "So, you're telling me, you saw this huge sand beast and thought to yourself, I can take that" he joked, although then again Zangetsu was a strong fighter and probably could've taken the beast out with the right tools on his own.

Shrugging a bit, he looked past Zangetsu and towards the horizon, "Good to know I still have friends around here, its been too quiet" he stated before returning his gaze to Zangetsu. He could see the fabric of Zangetsu's mask tighten, that meant one of two things he was either smiling, or yawning and since he didn't look tired he guessed it was a smile, "Suppose we should head back to a city or something, upgrade our gear and try again eh?" he suggested, as he lowered his hand from his chin.
