"Wise choice" Eric said and swam for Chase grabbing him and swam back to the surface.
He looked back to the mermaid
"if you come after me or my friends again, I will be sure to wipe out your species" he growled and swam to the surface.
Once they were back on the water next to the boat, the algae he used with Chase dissapeared, he was coughing a ton
"get Chase up there....hes out cold." he coughed

Lami who was overly ignored by the mermaids, Helped Eric and pulled chase up back into the boat and helped eric board as well "well, i was about of no use with the mermaids." she laughed as the fogs nearing the bay grew thicker, and looking back there was one mermaid just staring and smirking at them, freaked out by the scene made her feel that she just wanted to land on the safe shores, the fogs grew heavier and off in a distance you could see a light, but it was very hard to see where you're going in the fog "Fire." lami casted a fire spell and an orb of fire appeared on her hand, it lit up the way but as she looked back more mermaids were just staring at them smirking, as if preparing for a bigger wave.
((Seriously, we should really move to Whitecap now.))

Before Kurai could finish the spell, Chase and Eric were gone. He helped Lami getting Eric and Chase back into the boat after the fight. "You know, if you wanted to out swim them you could have asked me to put a Haste spell on you," he stated to Eric.

Chase coughed up water, and immedatly sat up, he shivered once, but then his body temperature raised to normal. Chase squinted out into the distance, and began to see many mermaid heads pop up from the water, he counted ten right off the back, but then the numbers began to grow within seconds. "Kurai, this would be a good time for a haste spell." Chase said, still watching as the mermaid heads began to pop up out of the water faster and faster.

"lemme do one more thing." she said to chase, she held out her hand towards the mermaids "Sleep." all the mermaids fell asleep "that'll buy us some time, now kurai-kun cast haste."

He nodded and begain to cast Haste. "Thank you for the time, Lami-chan." Kurai quickly casted Haste onto the boat, effecting Chase, Eric, Kurai, and Lami. Kurai also casted a Protect on everyone that he casted up from before. Everyone felt as their skin was as sturdy as steel. "I enhanced everyone's speed and movement for a short time, as well as dexsterity. The only other spell of that kind is slow, but I don't think it would be the best idea to use on us. I will also try to use fire based attacks to make to water smokey, and use Aero to change to wave currents and strength. Will that be enough?"

Chase gripped up both oars, and began to paddle threw the water, the spell worked, and Chase was able to pick up speed as he traversed threw the water, and into Whitecap Bay.

Eric growled seeing the mermaids rise to the surface.
He was about to dive back in to fight but then the boat sped off.
he growled and moved to the back of the ship and made a thick fog behind them

Chase continued to row, and glanced behind him to see a large ship only a few feet away,. "Hey, you think we should board it, Harvey could be up there?' Chase asked his friends, and continued to row, and entered Whitecap Bay.

Jax looked extremely tired. His fire died down and he passed out from exaustion.
He fell short of the harbor landing in the water.

Cyan swam and took Jax with him to the port. He threw his ally up to the docks, then pulled himself up. The blue haired child returned to his kid form, but was shaking violently, his body not used to feeling this out of magic. Cyan felt his entire body heat up as held onto Jax.
