Amanda Temes (The New Alice)

Even though Amanda knew for a fact that Maxim would not approve of her following him on this trip, she disapproved of being left alone in his house even more. She she quietly limped behind the large procession trying not to move too fast or too slow. In an act of resourcefulness, Amanda picked up two large sticks and used them as makeshift crutches to aid her throbbing leg. At first she had no idea how to use them, never having a need for crutches until now, but she quickly got the hand of it and ambled about behind everyone hoping to stay out of Maxim's view.

----------------------
As they approached the gates, she hugged closer to one of the red guards so as not to be left behind. She had been to visit the White Queen once before so the butlers recognized her and bowed as she hopped along behind everyone. Once directed to the sitting room, she remained standing in the large hoard of Red followers, keeping herself ambiguous. She would wait until the White Queen arrived to reveal herself.

Lyno was alerted that the Red King was here "oh great" she mumbled through her teeth as she made a quick check of herself in front of the mirror, dashed her hair to the side and rearranged her headband, smiled as fake as she could, it actually quite reminded her of an innocent child wanting to get candy, that ear to ear smile she had on. She sighed heavily and shook her head and began walking as slowly as possible, as if to look relaxed and in no hurry for the King. She glanced at her shoes from time to time, seeing how they shined in the white marble floor, she would have to remind her servants to make it a bit duller, it irritated her eyes so much in the morning like no ray of sunshine beaming on her could.

She leaned against the wall and smiled to the King. "And I presume you're here for...what exactly my dear Crimson King? Are you in need of company yet again...?" She said as she shook her head almost in light laughter and sat down on one of the comforters opposite the King. She had that same fake smile spread across her lips as she crossed her legs and clasped her hands atop her lap and look almost earnestly to him, if not paying more attention to the Hatter. A garment as white as fresh snow lay in between the King and He and she was brought to ask another question 'A dress? For me? Already?' but decided against it, for it would aggravate the King more if she didn't constantly talk about him every single hour of every single day of her life. But that wasn't the case, why was the Hatter here? Wasn't he busy doing other things? And that strange girl, was she a friend? She was yet again almost brought to ask 'why?' exactly but kept her tongue in check.

He went that way! I mean, left. That left. No, not your left!
Not mine either, dear, stop looking. No, not up! Left!
Wait...That's right, isn't it? Oh, it doesn't matter either way!
Just go search every-which-way and everywhere and you're bound to find him somewhere,
for if he isn't anywhere in everywhere, he's nowhere!
And no one can be nowhere!

The mostly purple haired young woman lay high up in a tree lounging on a faded gray, nearly naked limb. She twirled one of her few magenta locks between her pale fingers, legs bent at the knee and crossed behind her while her folded elbows and forearms rested her chin.

Below her and unknowing, the twins dawdled away from The Hatter's and down a path she didn't care much to follow, be it with eyes or legs or both.
Wondering what they'd needed to visit Maxim's for, she figured it had to do with a garmnet or otherwise errand of the Queen's. Her teal eyes narrowed curiously at the boys as they meandered so far away now she couldn't hear, or at least didn't strain to.

"Well, seeing as they were here not too long ago, yet not too soon ago, I'd wager the man has whatever he's been cooped up doing done by now. Aaaand," She grinned to herself, drawing out the vowel. "Because he should be done by now, working on whatever he was, and they did not leave with it, I'd also risk to say it's something precious!" Her grin widened happily at her assumption, but turned to a scolding frown as she turned her orbs back towards where the boys had dissappeared.

"And precious it must be if you two aren't leaving with it. Clever Maxim wouldn't allow you to rush off with such a thing be-cause you'd get it dirty." she sighed, "Getting it dirty would be tainting it's color. And I bet its white. And anything that isn't white isn't going to fit our Queen, is it?" Chey let her thoughts wander off to the Queen. She didn't dislike her, she was fair in both rule and appearance, and seemed to be doing what was right. The Lady had won the cat's favor, and that was saying something.
Now, the Red King. He was different. In many senses, of course obviously. But to be more specific, he on the other hand had not won the cat's favor. he was rude and obnoxious and cruel and stupid and loud and disconsiderate and abominable and standoffish and an idiot and he was so disorganized. She'd been to his castle, uninvited twice as many times as invited, and had seen the place. It wasn't an orderly disorganized, either. He-well, honestly, she didn't know all that much about the bloke. But he was messy. And if he was anything like the last ruler, her assumptions were not far from their marks.

Ah, speak of the devil. Literally? She rambled much too much when she was lonely, and in a lonely bout hadn't realized the scuffle made up at The Hatter's. He was sure getting company today, wasn't he? Well, Chey's ears twitched. She'd missed out on the commotion, lost in her thoughts, and now blinked to the fading sight of a trail of red soldiers and the Red King and Hatter and Amanda and --wait, when had she gotten there? Oh dear, perhaps Chey had slept through it earlier. Perhaps. Anyhow, the trooping red things where crowding the path to the White Queen's in what resembled a stream, more of a trickle, of blood.

Curious beyond belief, the young woman decided to transport. She turned her head and looked after the troop thinking it was high time to greet Miss Amanda and find out what all the hullabaloo was about, and was gone in a flash. Well, more like a fade..
She reappeared just inside the gates, on one of the walls staring down at the soldiers in red. A blonde head was easy to find, and she grinned madly with excitement. She hadn't seen the girl in ages! Well, days, if you didn't exaggerate so much. She didn't care much for what the King would think if he noticed her and shouted for one of her recent break-ins, but on the off side that he even thought at all to begin with Chey doubted they even knew it was her.

"Amanda! Oooh, Amanda, dear!" She called, waving erratically, unable to notice the girl's crutches from her perch. It was times like these when her behavior got out of character from her usually off-putting, perhaps darker act. Friends spiked everything up a few notches, including her own enthusiasm. Sometimes.

King Alexander Red
❝ "I'm the New Red King" is directly proportional to "I am Awesome." ❞

Alexander smiled as Queen Lyno entered the room. "If it isn't my favorite person in Wonderland! I'm so glad you would have us!" The Queen sat on one of the comforters opposite to Alexander daintily. And Alexander brought it upon himself to stand up and kiss her right hand, as a gentleman would, and smile at her. "Beautiful as always, my dear." He spun on his heel and presented the hatter. "This Magnificent dress, of which will be outshined by my own garments in the near future, has been made by this skillful hatter." he winked at Maxim, "You had ordered for it, and now he is finished with it. Huzzah!" he told his servants to clap, and clap they did, even if that was such an unnecessarily grand introduction for a dress.

"Now," He sat back down on the chair, also crossing his legs with his hands on the chair's arms "I'm simply here to check on you, darling. How do you fare? You should talk more, dear! A shy ruler makes for a shy kingdom! A little extravagance won't hurt." He grinned at her. He noticed her shiny shoes, and made a look of surprise "Ooh! Improvement! I love your shoes! They fit you quite well, you should wear things like that more often."

He looked around, totally oblivious of the tension he caused people. Sure he was flamboyant, and rowdy, but it was all in good nature. He never really thought that people would be afraid or intimidated of him because of that. Maybe it was because the red kingdom had such a bad history with wonderland before? Have the scars not healed?

"Maybe after all these trivialities we can play a game? Or maybe have a little party? Let's invite some friends! You know, the caterpillar, the white rabbit maybe or even that annoying Cheshire! Oh I do love parties."

Lo and behold! The Flamboyant Red King strikes again!

A particular violet-haired wild girl appeared in the room. Alexander looked at Chey and made a face, "Oh if it isn't Chey. I am so very happy to see you. How are you doing? Still being annoying?" while making the most sugar-coated smile he could manage.

Never a dull moment in Wonderland!

Amanda Temes (The New Alice)

A chill ran down Amanda's spine when she heard her name being called. She knew that voice all too well, and more importantly, it threatened to blow her cover. She looked around and saw nothing, but when she looked up, she noticed the purple cat woman known as Chey. Chey had a knack for appearing at the strangest times during her adventures, for better or for worse, and thus Amanda had mixed feeling about the cat. One thing she could not deny was her rather oddly stated wisdom, which normally helped her when in a bind. Amanda limped through the red crowd toward the door and looked back up at Chey. " Ummm... please come down... I'm trying to hide..." Alice said somewhat quietly. It would serve her well if she didn't have to raise her voice. " and be quiet..." Too late... The red King had already noticed her! Oh well if she knew Chey, she knew she wouldn't stay visible for long.

Kris & Klaus

The twins waited for what seemed like a very long time, although, in reality, it wasn't even an hour. When his patience had dwindled down to a thread, Kris leaped down from the tree he lay in, next to his brother. He brushed his clothes off and straightened up, giving Klaus a pout.

"No one came, Klaus."

"We are pretty far off the path. One would be a fool to venture this deep into the forest."

"Then what does that make us?"

"Fools."

Kris grinned. "Damn straight. What say we go back to the castle? I think there's a right more lively scene happenin' there than this old place."

..::..

The twins strode right into the palace, pausing only to say a quick greeting to the butler tending to the front door. It didn't take them long to find where everybody was. Kris and Klaus could hear the commotion all the way out in the hallway. They turned the corner into a spacey, elegantly adorned sitting rooms. Maxim was there, carefully protecting holding the dress he'd made for the Queen. Beside him was King Alexander of the Red Kingdom, as usual with his array of servants. Queen Lyno sat across the King, the cool, friendly smile on her features ever present. Somewhere near the back, Amanda was trying to quiet an excited Chey, but the purple-haired girl didn't listen.

"Well, ain't this a party!" Kris said loudly, a big grin on his face.

Klaus' expression was solemn, as always, but the mischievous tone that matched his brother's was present when he spoke. "Without us? Blasphemy."

The two brothers came up behind Queen Lyno, Kris resting his elbows on the back of the couch, and Klaus standing formally beside him.

"We see that the new dress has been delivered, as requested."

"Looks like King Alexander did our job for us. Good morning, by the way, o' King!"

"Red as ever, we see."

"Are those new clothes, Highness?"

"Must be. They're a distinctly different shade of red than the day before."

Lyno blushed in a small fury as Alexander kissed her hand, to which was an absolutely impromptu act that ironically did not happen enough. "Oh yes...quite..." she spoke in a quiet yet eased tone, one that suggested benevolence instead of tyranny, which was a coincidence it being Alexander sitting right opposite her. She nodded as he spoke, with small squeals from inside her mind to hopefully make it all 'stop'. Oh where was that March hare when she needed her? Surely she would have had a go to stop this from starting, but time wan't one her side...at least it wasn't right now. "A party would be...nice" she said in a small sigh as she looked at her right palm with slight disgust. She sighed lightly and smiled towards the Hatter. "What lovely garments you have Maxim, I hope it did not take you a long while to complete it for it would pain me so to see you work like a slave" Lyno spoke sadly and pressed her fist against her heart and showed a sympathizing pain to Maxim as if she felt sad for him, which she truthfully did but she did not want to overdo with Mr. Big Ego sitting right besides him.

Soon she heard the familiar voices of the twins, Kris and Klaus. To which a real bright smile came to her as her face glowed with glee. "Why you two are here, how lovely! It does look like a party...doesn't it?" she inquired happily as she gestured for the boys to sit on a loveseat right next to her. It was true, she really loved the twins if it had not been recently diminished by Kris' stupidity and Klaus' failure to mend the ways of his ignorant brother. Nevertheless she found it amusing that they had come to visit her of all people. Even though they were her 'scouts' she had developed a fond relationship with them in the course of her reign. I mean, who couldn't love Kris' vibrance and Klaus' cunning wit?

Hello, my name is Radbod.
I have 23 candles on my birthday cake.
Sorry, I'm Straight.
I have inherited the role of March Hare.
If I wrote an autobiography, it would go like this... I was born and raised in
Wonderland and can't imagine a world more amazing than this one! My
childhood is rather foggy, though I suppose it is because my mind is a little
foggy as well! Might've been something to do with the arsenic someone
slipped into my tea. Not enough to kill me, and just enough to make me lose
my mind! Have you seen it? This world is rightly mad. The whole world is
mad, and if the inhabitants weren't, well, they'd ought to be. Can't get into
Wonderland without having a few screws loose, wot wot!!

Some of my favorite things are riddles, rhymes, random gibberish and of course tea!
Keep the colour red, nay-sayers, party-poopers, and UN-tea-drinkers away from me,
I can't stand them.
This is me. Aren't I goodlooking?

"A~" Began the enchanting melody that drifted effortlessly through the Mushroom Forest. Sitting upon her mushroom home, holding the hose of her golden hookah sang the new caterpillar of the forest. "E, I, O-U~" The sultry tones of her improvised song slid off her tongue like velvet as her insectuine body laid twisted upon the cap of her reddened home. There wasn't a day she couldn't be seen here, relaxing endlessly as if she hadn't a care in the world. Well, she honestly didn't. Her father's neutrality during the first renaissance of her glorious Wonderland had been swiftly passed down to the aristocratic daughter of his youth before his and her mother's untimely death at the hands of well, nature. Once a member of her kind were to mate and concieve a child, it was basically a death sentence. Which was also why the hookah-loving woman stayed hidden within the depths of the forest, not wanting to be found, wanting to live in pure ecstacy for the rest of her days.

As her lips parted, Tziphorah watched as her different colored smoke created many different shapes and forms as they raised higher into the skies. Her greenish-tinted hair, although usually kept up in an aristocratic design, cascaded around her lipid upper torso as she stared effortlessly at the clouds that passed her by. The large shrubbery that surrounded her mushroom kept her hidden from any aerial predators, but also supplied her the perfect amount of shade and security so that she wouldn't have a worry trouble her striking features. Upon her chest was a green corset that held her breasts and stomach in place while the rest of her insectuine body curved around her reddened mushroom while the ending train hung casually over the side. Placing the hose of her hookah once more between her luscious lips, the green-eyes caterpillar just continued to stare upwards to the sky, unaware of the new developments that were happening around or near her current home.

                                            [Out.Of.Mushrooms:]

Casting a sidelong glance at the Red King the she-cat bowed deeply, sarcastically, from her balanced perch on the wall. "Hello there, Your Highness. I'm doing wonderfully, thank you. I take it you are just as well?" her tone was also sarcastic, but she was still gleeful and her expression said it. Besides, to bother a few meant to humor also. People loved to laugh at others' expense, did they not? Though the Cheshire wasn't being cruel, merely taunting, it was still true for the most part.

Chey's ears pricked upward and her eyes widened when she took notice of the blonde girl's crutches, and if it weren't for the apologetic smile on her face due to being disruptive she would have frowned. "Of course, absolutely, my apologies milady." She said with a bit of a bow, fading instantaneously. The Cheshire was awfully embarassed, but she was already turning back to the attitude that was her norm.
"Now tell me, why're you wearing crutches? No one tried to pick a bone with you, did they? " She asked in a hushed, albeit concerned voice.

Chey's attention was taken by the injured girl up until she caught wind of the commotion behind the sea of red inside.
Her blue eyes widened,
"Now what brought all of these...?" She didn't finish her question, standing on her tip-toes to get a better view of inside the pearlescent castle. An amused tone crept into her voice, along with the grin on her lips. "My, my. I bet half of the people in there don't even like eachother!" The cat-eared young lady exclaimed, still somewhat hushed. She had remembered the troupe marching from the Hatter's and had now assumed at just who was inside. Well, aside from the twins whom had just barged in quite boisterously.

Amanda Temes (The New Alice)

Amanda cringed from all of Chey's questions, but decided if she didn't answer she'd assume much worse. " I'm fine... just fell from a tree..." She placed her crutches on the ground and took a few step toward Chey to prove her point. She could walk without the crutches, but it hurt more to do so. " Maxim made a dress, and the king..." she looked back to the red mass that was the King's soldiers," Well... you know how he is..." she said rolling her eyes.
Amanda payed attention to the faces of everyone in the room a moment. Though most of the tension was directed at the flamboyant red King, what Chey said seemed true, half the people in here didn't like each other. She looked back at her and asked, " You seem more straightforward... than usual..." It seemed a bit odd that the cat wasn't speaking in riddles.

King Alexander Red
❝ "I'm the New Red King" is directly proportional to "I am Awesome." ❞

The Red King didn't want to ruin his wonderful mood, so instead of answering back to the mischievous Chey, he ignored it.

Alexander's excitement was rising higher and higher.

Contratry to popular belief, King Alexander enjoyed the company of the twins. It's like there was something in the back of his mind that told him that these two were two people who would tell him what they felt, that they would always express what they would feel. Well, of course he didn't really realize fully that most people, (if not all) would always be faking hapiness when he was there, but ignorance is bliss, correct?

And for now, the king was happy.

He laughed at the twins' jests, and even replied, "Good show, boys! Why, yes! This is a new shade of red. Only the most observant can see the difference! But there is no name for this color yet, I'm thinking of calling it "Red red". Like "Red violet" but it's mixing red and rd together. Genius right?"

...how the king loved jokes.

"Oh! This is quite exciting isn't it? we should start the party as soon as possible then!" He jumped up from his seat and took the white queen's hand, "come! I shall help you with the preparations!"

He led the White Queen outside by hand, and as soon as they left the room, he let go. He became red in the face and started rolling on the floor while covering his blushing. And as if being turned on like a switch, he stood up quickly and fixed his vest. He smoothed his hair and turned back to the white queen, "Sorry, lost my cool there."

Did the King feel anything for the queen? Maybe, but only time could tell. Because when it comes to the Red King, nothing is as it seems.

As Lyno was thrust from her comfortable seat and brought outside a fresh soothing feeling of cool air passed through her locks as she was dragged. When they had apparently made their stop she sighed wistfully, she had been meaning to take a recess from the crowded room full of soldiers into the vast one just out of the castle. Being unable to answer for a few minutes to catch her breath Lyno remained silent for a few seconds before taking in a deep breath and finally saying "You are quite the show Alexander! I should take it upon note that you are so..unpredictable" with a small swish of her dress she took Alexander by the hand lightly and led him to a bench nearby that overlooked the area. She sat down slowly as if taking in the scenery before seeing it while she sat down. She had a few things she liked to do her way although it looked a bit on to onlookers-oh! That reminded her that she must visit out of her castle, bring a few soldiers and explore the forest or just have 'fun', whatever that was.

OOC: Uwah, lame post. .-. Maybe I'll add more but Future Me probably won't do anything.

Queen Lyno invited the twins to seat next to her. Klaus politely declined. He didn't feel it right to sit beside the Queen of Wonderland. Kris had no problem with it, though - he hopped over the seats back to plop down beside her, stretching his feet out comfortably with a satisfied grin.

King Alexander laughed heartily in reply to the twin's synchronized questions. "Good show, boys! Why, yes! This is a new shade of red. Only the most observant can see the difference! But there is no name for this color yet, I'm thinking of calling it "Red red". Like "Red violet" but it's mixing red and rd together. Genius right?"

Humoring the Red King, the twins nodded eagerly. "'Red red.' The name is magnificence in itself." Kris commented with a grin.

"Absolutely," Klaus agreed, maintaining an impossibly straight face. "Only the most intelligent of the most intelligent would be able to make such a shade."

Kris and Klaus would've went on, had the King not interrupted them, quickly turning his attention to the elegant Queen Lyno. Saying something about a party, he quickly grabbed the queen's hand and dragged her outside the room. The twins stared after them with a somewhat bewildered expression on their faces.

"Say, Klaus, did they abandon us? I feel abandoned."

"Obtusely."

"Why in Wonderland would they want to abandon us charming, sociable people?"

"Whatever the reason, it's all you."

The twins then turned their attention to Amanda and Chey, who, from their position in the back of the procession, didn't seem to notice the King and Queen leave. "Hey, Amanda! Funny seeing you here! I could've sworn I only saw you a moment ago."

"Good morning, Chey. Did you come into the castle invited or uninvited this time?"
